Sick video man! I have an e92 N54 myself. If you’re on stock turbo, you need to be shifting before 6000 rpm, ideally at about 5500 so your boost doesn’t taper away! You’ll win a lot more races, stay in boost!
@Si_vis _pacem stock turbos cant hold the boost they are making over 6000rpm so power actually drops off

Nice vid man! I have a 2009 335i xdrive 6mt. I just got my pure stage 2 turbos in and now I'm finishing up the upgraded clutch and flywheel. Cars gonna be tuned on race gas and pump and I think it'll make low 600s to the wheel on race and about 500 on pump

Amazing races! Can’t believe you beat an F90 M5 with only FBO stage 2+ mhd tune. I’m on a custom MHD tune with upgraded turbos and FBO as well on 93 octane only. Guess it’s safe to say I will destroy any stock m5 that comes my way haha

Sold my 07 e92 335i a year ago and pulled the trigger on a high mileage, one owner ‘11 e93 335is. Replaced my coolant res early on and front tires. Replaced the fuel pump months later then got rear ended and was without the car for 3 months. Got the car back and my belt got tossed from an oil leak from oil housing. Fixed the belt scheduled the gasket fix and then Covid hit and I ended up driving my gfs car back to our homestate because my car couldn’t make the drive then. Recently picked up the car fixed the leak and readjusted the belt got on the road and got an engine overheating light. Pulled over gave it a second and then popped the hood no cracks in me coolant res but I was lil low on coolant. Topped it off continued on and got the alert about 5 hours later. Engine Tempe was fine and so was coolant level. Burped the system and haven’t seen the problem arise since but then my back drivers side tire started showing coils on the inner part so now it’s time for a new custom tire despite the original having great tread everywhere else. Long story but moral here, the n54 platform is the best bang for buck platform out there but performance at any price level will demand attention and some cash. Despite all this it is a car unlike any other. The hydronic steering alone is a selling point but if you’re in the fence just keep in mind it is WELL worth it if you understand that there will be times where you will have to remember it is a BMW with BMW parts. Start getting used to working on your own car and this car will be the one to start your car addiction. - A 22 year old who is in love with his 335is

I would at least mention what tune you have in the description but nice setup I miss my N54E93 but I moved onto a 535i Motorsport edition where MHD 'burble' is limited from BMW by things like speed and egt for protection which I wouldn't mind if it didn't stop at such low speeds.
Don't know how you handle that burble setting so high. I tried it and it was very old after 20 minutes
I had an 07 a few years ago, went like you know what off a stick but missed an LSD. I wanted to fit one but the half shafts were stuck solid. Only thing I didn't like was the moaning computer. Sold it.

yeah its f90 m5 probably stock had no idea you 335s could pull like that on stock turbos. I drive and m6 and have raced my buddies pure stage 2 335, but i definitely slept on stock turbos.
Yeah stock turbos on e60 can push 460 to 500 depending on maintenance
Great content but way too many cars on the high way for my own nerves to do roll racing in IMHO. LOL. No one is expecting that kind of speed when they are changing lanes or just driving home from work etc. So just too busy for me to try it in that traffic but hey fun to watch! Thanks.

@@kaloianmarinov7581 its not the 335i is known to be a monster, the m5 is also way way heavier i think its about 600 pounds heavier, if im not mistaken, also you can tell the m5 was trying his hardest to keep up with the 335i and mercedes
Correction i checked the m5 is 4,370 lbs, and the 335i is about 3,530lbs, thats a 850lbs dofference

I’ve got a ‘10 335 fbo (intercooler, dci’s, chargepipe, and downpipes) with jb4, I’ve been told mhd was the way to go but I went the burger tuning route jb4 with map 5 is basically mhd stage 2+. You know how much your pushing with stage 2?
@@naregk6630 a stage 2+ or equivalent 335i with the n54 should be around 375-380 whp. Mhd says 420 crank on their website but there are plenty of RUclips Dyno videos that are showing more.

Just factor all the known weak points onto the equation when you buy the car. Everyone knows they are unreliable, and that it's actually only because of a hand full of specific well know parts. Yet people foolishly drive around on said parts right up until they leave them stranded on the side of the road and forced to overpay for labor/parts/shipping. Potentially even needing to have access or ownership of alternative transportation... Just buy the car and replace these things ASAP so that you can plan aheap and then actually get to enjoy the car. In my case doing them all myself since DIY guides are PLENTIFUL. However even if you don't do stuff yourself at least you can plan for the expense and downtime.
Index 12 injectors, HPFP, LPFP, upgrade FMI for lower Temps not just power, coolant tank, Eldor coils, step colder plugs even stock (two steps if FBO), metal PCV, Oil catch can to keep it clean and then walnut blast to get it started out clean. Water pump will also go dead eventually but that's a big job to do early admittedly.

-stop driving in sport mode until your oil temp at least moves past 160°.
-don't buy the first car you test drive if it feels off in literally anyway, learn how they are supposed to feel by driving many.
-dont pay more thank $8k for any car over 100k that doesn't include receipts for the parts listed above.
-keep ~$2k cash on hand at all times to help you sleep at night. Should be plenty to replace any given failure that surprises you, but our goal is for that to never happen.
Had the car over a year, multiple WOT pulls daily to and from work, never skips a beat.
