Thank you Misha for this unforgettable drive around the green hell on my birth day. 😆😱😨 I did some homework since then and I have refreshed a lot of suspension parts. I installed a Eibach B12 pro kit. (So Bilstein B8 & Eibach springs). Replaced the two main front lower arms and antiroll bar links. And did a proper alignment 2 weeks after this. 👌📐📏 Brakes will need some care as well as juddering is still there (mostly on the left) when they are hot and it's annoying. I still have some laps on my Nurbürging card and I'll revisit the track in 2024 for sure ! See you there 😃😃

@@SikaSeekerI have mixed feeling. The front B12 Pro Kit is are quite stiff on fast bumps and they make you feel all road imperfection and they feel a bit "bouncy" when cruising. (Roads are pretty bad in Belgium) But during spirited driving session or smooth roads, they're good :)
I also have installed the B12 on my 650i E63 and it's so much better than original but with sufficient residual comfort. I think you will get used to the stiffer Characteristic and you will enjoy every kilometer with your great car.
I like the passenger and even the rear passenger behavior, they were not using any device recorder. Just enjoying the moment with the smile on their face during the whole lap
Agreed, I would guess 360-380Hp 550-600Nm, the speedo is same aggressiveness as mine from 120-160 and I had that setup. Nice vid, nice owner and sweet driving😘
With this hard beating and high oil temps in combination with high corner velocity it will spin a bearing the next few weeks. I would bet 100 bucks on this. 😀
2 years ago I bought my first German car, an '08 335i. All I've done to it is the MHD stage 2+ tune with catless downpipes and upgraded FMIC and I've gotta say, I'm sold on German cars! I'm completely in love with it. Considering trying out a '10+ Audi S4 just to see what it's like on the other side.
Really? Its annoying on the bumps/ uneven road like you do feel it all but on the highway its pretty good. I don't really push the car a whole lot, it just got to 265k the other day and while everything seems fine, taking corners hard wears suspension out. I had another car I tracked/ drifted and I was going through control arms & tie rods like crazy. Meanwhile this one I just use to commute and occasionally drive it hard but not too hard I always shift at 5k max. In essense im just seeing how many miles I can put on a bmw with normal wear and tear and none of the heavy stuff, I've blown up 60k mile engines in less than 5k miles (Probably my fault for not installing an oil cooler) but still. I might buy some better shocks/ struts because these msports sit a tad bit higher on the front than on the rear, and looking for something I can adjust...
Buy coilover. I’ve gor koni sport and springs vogtland made and it’s sway after a fiew months again. Even setting stiffer over and over again will not help as socks will wear out quickly

@@LoopBooost BMW says it’s to balance between fuel efficiency and performance. They dynamically change the oil temp to control piston ring gaps and so on. I’m not at 120c during normal driving.
Classic E92, M193 design rims, if I recall correctly... Lovely decent sleeper as 335i. From what I can recall, those often had more than nominal 306hp from factory, anyway.
Great mods for this car suspension are: koni yellow, bilstein b8 paired with pro kit, h&r or vogtland springs but best would be coilover like st, kw for some comfort and handling, front and rear m3 e92 arms, rear subframe bushes from m3 e92, m3 front sway bar, 15mm rear sway bar( not sure we can fit 20mm) without lsd? Anyone can answer this, becuse I want to put whiteline front 27 and 20mm rear. Brakes from f series with m4 pads with braides line, ate type 200 brake fluid and we are goos to go. I jad this done in my car with all bushes in rear new and glow form light wheels with 235/255 tyres ps4s and car handle much batter
Great car and drive! N55 with a downpipe and retune is highly recommended. Will improve the sound and performance nicely ....not that it needs more power.
the car must be tuned, cause on the 335i off a firend off mine, the car shuts Down Power and tun the MIL on above 120°c oil,but maxbe the N55 dont do that.

Tip for Mischa, in every car that you drive. It would be wise take one of those white wonderspunges, just dip them in water and wipe the steering wheel. It will clean the steering wheel leaving it matte and without grease. Much nicer for driving E92 manual 335i owner. FBO ftw
misha im surprised how you heel toe this cars. on my 335 its so easy to roll your toe over for a toe-toe, its pedals are set up perfect for that but i find it very awkward to do a proper heel-toe
Having seen so many very high horsepower cars warps the perception, to the point this car looks slow when it's not. Example compare the onboard of the Tesla Plaid Misha drove. It's easily back over 200kph where this takes a while to just get up to that speed.
Haha, yeah 1000 hp is wayyyyy faster than 400 hp, even when the less powerful car weighs 500kg less. When a car looks fast on GoPro footage, you KNOW it’s fast as hell.
At least from RUclips viewing perspective when it comes to performance, as if it almost an E92 M3 (apart from the engine noise and the engine itself ofc). Power definitely exists, don't think any power mods need to be done here at all. With great suspension this potentially be a really good trackcar.
You'll be surprise, basic Brembo UV Coated discs (high carbon) but with PAGID RSL19 pads, and fresh Ate DOT5.1 fluid. I'm happy it survived this torture test. But since then, too much dust accumulated in the pads as the discs aren't drilled/dimpled/slotted and I burned a disc on an a single emergency stop on the highway. (cold disc, poor friction, resulting in burned blue hotspots and later noise and vibrations) So my next set of discs won't be plain smooth.
Temp climbed far too fast oil maybe degraded or cooling problem needs some decent upgrades tbh bit of a shed. I’ve seen this run big power with turbo upgrades though can be very nice cars!

I have 335i N54 Twin Turbo DCT stage 1, and it’s as quick as a modern M2 in a straight line and easily goes off the clock 160mph+

They definitely need rod bearings with better tolerances… and S55 oil pump / pickup if they’re fitted to a RWD car

For this 335i to be trackable it needs oil pump from m2 n55 (dual-pickup) and mosselman thermostat. And obviously - a suspension fix
Suspension is fixed now. I installed a B12 kit. For the rest, I don't really track so and i'm undecided to make this investment.

It does have LCI mirrors, bumper and head lights but it doesn't sound like an n55. I would love to see one with the n55 and dkg as mine

Driven one with 330 hp and 500+nm automatic and bigger breaks, did go well unless 1600kg.
