nice to see it being done well ,,, what was that big blind rivet gun thing at the end ,, looks mighty.
Your body man is a expert in his work!! Amazing!
it would be pretty cool if you slowed down the video in regards of the content. Explain a step by step for the rear quarters as a lot of DIY guys would like to refer to something for the diy. Video editing along with installs are hard but it’ll pay off. You guys do GREAT work 👍🏾
Appreciate the feedback and we do that for some small parts in videos, but due to the magnitude of work the build requires as well as the deadlines for the build, doing DIY tutorials would slow the process down and add a lot more work. We'll continue to throw in mini informative clips and answer questions on here as best as possible!
great work!!! Is your shop local? And are you accepting clientele?
How have I not come across this channel before? Nice work. Subscribed
Welcome aboard! Appreciate the love
Great Work men👍🏻
Cheers Dario!
How much is the labor cost?
Hey could yall tell me the apart number for inner wheel well and the tool you are using to attach the panel back on.. im confused and never seen that. Do you not punch hole in New panel and weld it to the body?
The correct part numbers for the inner quarter panels are 41008052403 and 41008052404. We had to drill out the existing spot welds and remove the wheelhouse panel and throw the rest of the inner quarter away. To attach the inner quarter to the existing panel on the car, we used 3M panel bond and blind rivets. The tool we used is a pneumatic rivet gun. It is a lot cleaner and more corrosion resistant instead of welding.
What part did you use for the inner fenders ? 41008052403/4 ? All our front parts have arrived, just not decided yet on how we're doing the rear.
I am wondering the same thing. I will be doing this soon.
The correct part numbers for the inner quarter panels are 41008052403 and 41008052404!
@@RadBuilds If you don't mind, what are the part numbers for the bracket that goes above the inner quarter panels?
Shit that is not a job for the faint of heart. Impressive. I can definitely understand why most people do a small section of the fender only.
All of this fabrication, isn't that OEM 1M quarters are just bolt on? Maybe I'm naive :/
This is proper car surgery
Go big or go home!
