Loving what you are doing, completely agree with your approach to the 135I, as opposed to wrecking a 1M. can't wait to see the next episode.
loving the progress. Definitely the right call to modify the 135i rather than touch a sacred car such as the 1M!!
You on the right track there's no reason for have 1M when it's the same engine.
🙏🙏🙏
love the project , i just bought an e82 120d fitting a non Original Bodykit is not an easy Job , But the car is going to look amazing after that.
Still making my way through these old videos! Keep up the great content.
Look like its going to be nice mate, not very often fibreglass kits fit that well but this one seems to be pretty good
We will see when its done done 🤣
Hi chris, cracking project - i in the middle of doing the same using oem parts and have cut off the inner and outer rear 1/4 panels, re the frnt bumper, you will need the 1m headlight brackets and you cannot re-use the pop up head light washers, so you will need the 1m washers as they are fixed and dont pop up, you will also need to change the bumper washer jet hoses, may also need to relocate the horns to allow the bumper to fit.
I started from the beginning of the channel, keep going 🌷
Yes, absolutely love it.
What a fantastic package
You won the fibreglass lottery, nice video mate 🔥🔥
🤣🤣 thanks man!
This series is great! Beatifull car with a lot of potential. The 1M bodykit is also a great choice. Can’t wait to see more!
Thanks Simon!
I’m sure it will look great when it’s done keep up the great work a good video too Can’t wait to see how it will look👍
you got yourself a subscriber i just ordered my 135i stuff for the 1m conversion haha. after that im gonna get the clinched widebody kit and make it even wider than a 1m
I hope you used my discount code! 🤣 good luck with the work!
Fairly new subscriber to your channel just starting from scratch with old videos before the latest ones. but loving what you are doing and looking forward to seeing how all your projects come out 😀😀
Nice job chris, pro tip for your friend, you can turn the sparkshield on the grinder so the sparks dont fly in to your face 😎
Top tips! 🤣
Great presentation I like how easy you made this transition makes me feel like modifying my car isn’t so hard. Could you just have a video that goes through your preparations
Thanks!
looking great already !!
I'm loving this Project Chris. I'm kinda working backwards having come across this episode first, but I'm working my way through. Great choice!
Love this man! can't wait for the rest of the series. Where did you get the kit from?
Thanks man! I have popped a link and discount code in the description of the video!
I just bought a 118d coupe and really want to add some body kit modifications to it, this was timely
your garage is a dream mate, great video
Bonnet modification can also be racing slots
i completely agree with this build
Thanks sam 😅
Rate the graft bud, love the style of your video's! Very reminiscent of Mat's, however that is no bad thing! Hb
Beautiful job chris
thanks Logan
Loving it.
Pick a cool color..black 🙌🏼
The Turner Motorsport 1m body kit. It’s top notch quality and passes the German Tuv inspection. It’s all 5k USD.
Nice work man! Looking to do the same thing to my 135i too, can't wait to see the fitment of the rear arches, that's my reason for doing it
Looking great god I wish I had a garage like yours so lucky 👍
do it the iconic orange that the 1m came in. or even white. think once u fix it stage 1 tune it
Im just in the process myself of buying the full OEM 1M body to fit to my DCT 135i!
What kit did you use here mate? seems to be a pretty decent fit if it isnt the OEM parts! Cant wait to see what this looks like as well, the 1M body widebody compared to all the aftermarket widebodies is so much nicer. BMW definitely did the best job on that one!
Looks great though mate! congratulations!
There is a link in the description
Where can i follow the progress? Instagram? I also have a 135i dct
@@xZiMinDaveyy ill be posting photos on Jxcks_E82 on instagram buddy probably, and may document it on some videos on youtube potentially, dont really have the balls to upload vids on YT though hahaha
What kit is it, can’t find a link
I have a 2011 BMW 1M and I'm FBO :)
Chris slix quality on every video📈✅
Making me blush 😅
@@Chris_Slix keep up the good work man
LOVE IT BRO
do the OEM sideskirts line up with the 1m fender
love the content mate!
Well done mate!
Thanks but its not done yet 😊
But the quality of the video it’s superb. Waiting for more content
There’s usually two of those hood latches u screw in one on either side. I saw the threaded hole for it like 6 inches to the right of where u we’re trying to screw that in and I saw the one on the other side as well. They should screw in there just fine.
Theres only 1 central latch point on these strangly enough! It definitely needs 2!
Don’t forget your inner wheel arches/shit shields will need replacing to make up the extra width. Not cheap either 🤟🏼
Fair play to you buddy
Your car you do what you want
Each to there own
If we all
Liked the same thing it would be pretty boring
Love this mentality! 😊
Love this! Looks siiiick
Thanks!
Nice kit you got there. Seems to fit really good. Are you going to get the 1M side mirrors? Are you going to install the 1M left and right strut braces? Will you change out the battery box for the 1M version so you can install a proper 2x2 exhaust?
E92 rear subframe for extra points
Looking good mate !!! Finish this off. Sell this to me and start a Range Rover Supercharger.
🤣 im sure we can arrange something!
I fully back it tbh I want to do the same to a e82 I’ll hopefully be getting sure
Going to look savage ! .. can’t wait till we have to put an engine in it ! Haha
Hopefully not this time 🤣
doing the same with my 135i :)
Amazing project! I have a question, is there any reason why you don’t get body parts painted before fitting them?
I’ve bought all oem parts from bmw including the full rear quarters, where’s the bonnet from? Can it be purchased separately?
For your catch you can cut off the oversized thread and weld the right one onto it. I did similar with my carbon fibre bonnet n it worked a treat.
Wondor if you can order the rear fenders from BMW and weld them up
Love it ❤️
Thanks!
Did you purchase this kit from bmw ? If not, where did you buy the kit?
Broo so sick, im living in Germany and just got a 135i N55 from 2011 and wanted to convert it to 1M but wasnt sure bc of the rear fender. I might follow ur steps :D but here it is way harder (at least i think so) -> bc of the Tüv in ur Country the Mot i guess. I dont know how stuff there will work with the widebody and quad exhaust from 1m. Bc it will be louder right
Im sure if you bought the oem 1m back box it would be tuv approved? Worth checking!
Love these videos …. Do you plan on putting air suspension or some nicer Coilovers like bc’s onto the car ?
Probably coilies on this one!
Well done man. Could you let us know where you got the parts?
Thanks man! I have popped a link and discount code in the description of the video!
Can I ask where you got the body kit from?
do you still have an affiliate code with the company?
Your car dude do what you like to it I just enjoy the vids …now then how about some side pipes and a few flames on the bonnet ! 😇…just sayin🤣
Deffo going to get tv’s fitted to my mudflaps by xzibit and the team at westcoast customz 👀
@@Chris_Slix 🤣🤣 now your talkin bro ….cool👌👍
Looks great! Do you have a link to where you bought the kit?✌🏼
Thanks man! I have popped a link and discount code in the description of the video!
You know that all has to all come back off in order to trim it out,(paint)?
I've been thinking about this kit for my e88, presumably you need new arch liners given the wider wing? Also given the wider track does there need to be suspension or other mods to push wheels out to meet wings, or just massive (still safe) spacers?
Look forward to next video.
Yes i think it takes m3 arch liners. But you could modify the originals. And wider wheels would sort the wider track issue for aesthetics but the genuine 1m may potentially use m3 subframes to help with this. Im not 100% sure on that though!
Hi Chris, i have a request for you. I changed my front bumper for a 1M look bumper, but i have an issue with the headlight washers. My E82 has the static ones, while my new bumper needs the same as yours. I was about to give up, but maybe you can save me. Please, give me the part number of the headlights washers mount (Is it the same part than the headlights mounts ?). Even my BMW dealer has not been able to tell me how to mount them (after a 200 euros fee for the parts). Thank you =)
Do you have a link for the widebody kit? Would love to have it on mine.
I have popped a link and discount code in the description of the video!
