Just so you guys know. This is going to kill your parts market too. If you get in an accident, it might be a while before they can put your car back together. As a parts guy at a body shop I'll tell you now, autonation is one of our biggest parts suppliers!
If people were smart they would hold off buying any vehicle right now the prices are about to crash. Wait until that happens then buy.

Stellantis has finally managed to kill the CDJR brand in the US.
They want to sell you underperforming, and mechanically inferior unreliable vehicles,
(Small Inline direct injected sixes, with tons of plastic parts, and EVs) at astronomical prices.
Stellantis don't even give you a 3.0 inline six like BMW.
People might pay $ 55k in Europe for an underperforming DI 2.0 INLINE FOUR Alfa-Romeo Tonale,
but here in the US the Hornets are going to sit.
That might fly in Europe, but not in the US.
I'm curios about the RAM division because of the HDs and Cummins.
The only way they could stay in business is just truck and fleet sales. So just RAM haha
Ram is going to get a 3.0 inline six with turbos on the Ram 1500 in 2025 at the demise of the Hemi engine
I worked at a CJDR store from Sept. 2019 to Feb. 2023. (not in sales) & my coworkers and I saw this coming around the summer of '22. When the neighboring Chevy dealer (also owned by the same family) started out-moving new car inventory for consecutive weeks it sounded an alarm. Chevy wasn't offering a stellar deal or anything but, the Chrysler stuff just hit a wall. Management started getting prickly toward the salesmen and service was pulling teeth trying to get common parts for warranty claims. This is a relatively small dealership, but sales were never an issue. This place was so cheap they hadn't updated the service department since sometime in the 80s and the showroom was last done in 2013. Stellantis finally ordered them to update or be removed from the system. Now they had to spend millions to renovate and can't sell anything. Dealers were greedy for too long and believed the brand was forever. For perspective the showroom held 3 cars and there was no indoor service drop off or pickup like a Mopar Express Lane. Way behind the times.

If you guys think back and remember, all this s**t started with the dealers markups, and everything has gone downhill from there.
A lot of people don't even know that they can get money back from their extended warranty. You wouldn't believe how many people let thousands of dollars slip through their hands not knowing or doing a few minutes of research.

What do you think about Dodge warranties with the current situation though? If I get a 7 or 8 year warranty, will dodge even still be around
yeah that's a serious fear honestly... lifetime warranty may end up being worthless
I'm seeing steep discounts now on all the 4XE's Jeep Wranglers, similar to the ones they gave on all the 2023 Gladiators to move them. My most recent experiences with a CDJR dealerships: I picked up a 2022 Charger Scat in September 2022. The moforks wouldn't take one dollar off the sticker! Last November I purchased a new Wrangler Willys--that dealer tacked on a $299 charge for window etching!

They ( Stenllantis) know what they are doing, and they don't care. End of story time to move on to another brand. Just don't buy anything they sell.
Fact: markup on a new Hellcat is now under 2k, and has been. I have seen more than my share of invoices over the past 18+ years.
Had a dealership get a hellcat from a slow dealership, it came in at 70 thousand. Salesman told me they wanted 80 for it
The worst dealer experience I ever had was buying my 2019 392 Scat pack Charger new. They sold me the car and after I signed paperwork they told me I couldn’t have the car for two weeks because of a recall. I sold the car after a year and they refused to refund me my extended warranty.
Damn that sucks because Toyota returned all my extended warranties after my truck got totaled . With out even asking them 😂
@@JLocauto yeah when my Wife’s car was totaled we got everything back also. I’ve owned a scat pack and a Jeep JL. The scat was a horrible buying experience and the car was fine. With my JL, my buying experience was good but as soon as I hit 20k miles I had terrible electrical issues. The Jeep would lose all power to the interior and gas pedal. It started happening everyday. Was glad when I got rid of it.

How many times have the car companies gone bankrupt. So what. The airlines put the car industry to shame in regard to bankruptcy. You young folks have not seen a real economic downturn. Dealerships go bankrupt and they get bought by a stronger dealerships. That’s the way the economy is supposed to work.

Stellantis presents Stellantis direct with you being able to buy a 2025 Ram truck for $60K. Bypass our stealerships and buy directly from Stellantis. Stellantis and the customer working together to drive dealers OUT of business.
Things are going to change by the end of the year.

Shoddy, low quality, unreliable vehicle brands that are grossly overpriced. Operated by a mismanaged corporation. What could go wrong? I'm surprised Stellantis lasted this long. How they've been able to land ANY customers given their track record over the last decade is baffling to me, No pity for this company. I do feel sorry for the workers though. Stellantis killed Plymouth, put Chrysler on life support, and made Jeep and Dodge terminally ill. John and Horace Dodge are turning in their graves seeing what Stellantis has done to the company they founded over 120 years ago. This is the beginning of the end. Even Lee Iacocca couldn't save this sh*tshow....
Most of what you said is true… But- Daimler killed Plymouth back in 2000. I’ve bought quite a few Mopar products over the years. Had good service with most. Have a 2019 Ram 1500 now with 28k miles. 5.7 Hemi quad cab. So far no issues.
