Now that boys and girls is how real musicians sound. Real playing, real singing. No lip synching, no backing tracks.

Groups that had tight harmonies "never" lip sync or key adjusting. They were the true singers/artists of music and very few of them today.

@@kennethpatterson6511 I agree Ken, like I have shared with one of my son's and his son, a lot of the music I was listening to back in the 70's, with CS&N being one of them. Regardless if Young was involved. I sometimes think about how underrated they are. One of the things that the internet has been able to do is become the meeting place for I guess, ''like-minded-people'' can come together (for free) and share a part of life with each other.....

@@montydaniels1054 You are SO RIGHT, Monty. Had a band for 20 years and we lived on CSN&Y tunes. I usually got to do the Neil Young tunes because I have the jerky lead guitar style, the over-driven chords and
the soprano/falsetto voice. Only lacked Neil's talent....LOL. Met him once on a ranch at mid-coast California. He was fixing his fence and I was hiking. Very mellow cat and easy to talk with -- about guitars and amps (no surprise). He appreciated that I didn't "fan worship" him but I was thrilled to meet him. Here's to your grandson........Cheers.

To me, Stephen Stills has always been an enigma. Such raw powerful vocal talent and guitar playing, plus an amazing songwriter to boot, and he has always looked like some guy at the office in either bookkeeping, accounting or Human Resources and not a Folk Rock legend that he is.

Music like this is rare. CSN&Y were my fathers favorite band. He listened to CSN&Y every time he came home from the road. He drove a truck for most of my life. I recall him sitting in front of the stereo with headphones on and CSN&Y playing so loud I could clearly hear it in the next room lol. Usually he'd start out with suite Judy blue eyes. That's still one of my all time favorite songs. I just don't hear music that moves me like this and I grew up in the 90's. Grunge rock and CSN&Y is my music lol

It's all Stephen Stills on this one: he wrote the lyrics and gave the emotions which made it the classic. Graham's always the energetic Englishman while David was like a rock on stage. But they were awesome musicians in their time. RIP David. (I heard this song decades ago as a grad student in Milwaukee... still recall the words and harmonies...)

lol yep, no backing tracks or vocal auto-tune being used. CS&N have always been one of the best bands over the past 50 years.... Too bad Stephen Stills retired and the falling out. I would have loved to see all of them come to Pine Knob here in Clarkston, Michigan one last time....

    Dear Stephen Stills
Thank you for 56 years of great music. I wish you hadn't wasted so much time with Crosby and Nash. To me they were just backup singers. It was very generous of you to give them a job.
    As always,
