- 4th and 5th box from the largest order I've done in a while, a $2,000 order through a wholesaler of used electronics. Weighs in at over 300 pounds with 14 boxes to go through. This is the third video in a multi-part series to go over cameras/camcorders and lenses in this lot, test everything, see what works, and assign a value. Tons of unique digicams, bridge cameras, 35mm compact film cameras, 35MM SLR Cameras, camcorders, DSLR Cameras from brands like Nikon, Sony, Canon, Fujifilm, Kodak, GE, Polaroid, Panasonic, and many more. Recycling and bringing cameras back to life, as well as making some profit along the way is what I'm after!

This is a camera museum on internet. Great!
Thank you kindly for your comment!
Olympus C7000 is one of my favorites!
@OneMonthTwoCameras Wow- a youtube legend is with us in the comments- Love your channel! I have the battery charging right now and excited to try it out!
I never realized how many different shapes and sizes there were in the camera world. Keep these videos up, it's a great ASMR!
Thank you! 😊
I was the one with HP comment, glad to see some HP cameras! I can't wait for the whole series :) nice job!
That's right! You called it! Thanks for watchin'
So wild seeing all the different cameras! I used to have a Konica Minolta DiMage and it was wild because the camera would physical move around something to divert the image from being showing on the back screen to the viewfinder! I made a point in the early days to only get cameras that used AA’s for longevity, until it just wasn’t practical anymore and once batteries got so good. Keep up the great work and I hope you find a few more gems in those boxes!
Thanks me too!~ Should have a new video I filmed yesterday edited and live today, and things start to look up!
Love these videos. You keep talking about hidden gold nuggets. We haven’t seen one yet. What is your best gold nugget doing this?
Not yet with this lot! 😮But hopefully soon! I think my best overall score was a local auction win from about 3 or 4 years ago. I bid on a box of camera equipment that only had pictures of a few of the items included (which were low value), so I bid and won at around $50 for a large box. Everything in it was basically worthless EXCEPT for one camera- a Contax T2 35mm Film camera. Which I ended up selling for just over $900. Kinda regret it as it was a super cool camera!
Thanks. Just picked up that Easyshare at 51:55 mostly just because I like the color of it 😃 Decent little camera for that price though. I'll find a use for it somewhere
Got the order @michaelbell75 thanks! Will get it out today 😁
Lots of cameras and stuff with their own personalities 👍
I have a Canon PowerShot S10 from late '99 which was the successor to the A50 (early '99). It's a neat little camera, with a 2MP sensor and very sharp lens. I would consider it to be the benchmark for image quality as far as 2MP cameras go. It's remarkably well-controlled at ISO 400, and virtually non-existent at base ISO, especially compared to other 2MP cameras. It's kinda incredible what it was capable of at the time.
I also have it's younger, smaller brother the PowerShot S100 Digital ELPH. Nowhere near as good as the S10, but it was the world's first true pocket camera (jeans-pocket friendly, unlike the S10 which is more coat pocket).
I bought a Canon SD850 at a thrift store for $8. I was worn but worked perfectly. Nice little camera. Took great macros. I gave it away for nothing. Sorta regret it now, lol.
Nice! Good camera the sd850. Good callout on macro too! I used it briefly for ebay photos 10-12 years ago!
56:30 HAHAHA 😂😂 i love your channel
Haha!! Thnx!
Almost got one of those kids camaras just for fun lol.
I love those Sony DSC-P cameras. Still have my P50 and P52. I like the beeps they have. I want to get the best one I can, you made me just think about it... It's more fun than bringing my big ol' mirrorless everywhere
Beep Beep Boop Boop! Yeah it's fun to shoot with some nostalgic digicams!
Hi - just for your information the lines you're referencing @ 45:34 (the 3 x 3 rectangular grid) - that isn't a problem with the rear display on the camera - it is to help with framing of the photograph ("rule of thirds") so you can frame your photo correctly. Most digital cameras (higher end ones included) allow you to turn this on or off the rear display. Have been enjoying watching your unboxing videos since coming across them the past couple of days :)
Hi Troy, thanks for watching! It's kind of hard to see, but at 45:39 it's in the top right square of the grid of the LCD, maybe 8-10 consecutive black lines
this is the best channel on youtube holy shit
loved the video,I keep refreshing your page hoping to see new videos lol
I appreciate that! Filming video #4 today, so hopefully the next video is out in a few days!
You've inspired me, I just blew £9.20 on a box of untested 6mp Sony and Olympus digicams....I'm hoping I can retire on the profits.....:)
😁Haha! Nice!!
Yup, IXUS was in Europe and Elphy was in US.
My first digital camera was a HP Photosmart with 3.3mp. Terrible little thing, drained batteries like crazy, but fun nonetheless 👌
The plastic LCD screen is very easy to replace.... if you can get one... Self adhesive copy. It cost me 5 Euro to get 5D mkii cover and 10 mins to replace... The 5D price was considerably lowered on MPB due to cracked cover..
Nice! Good to know...
45:30 In my eyes, the lines on the screen of that Canon powershot look like the alignment grid? Nothing wrong with the screen I think.
Sorry I should have had the LCD still while I was showing it, the grid is there but in the mid right section of the LCD, there is a splotch of dead lines in a roughly circular shape.
first! love the videos
canon ixus is european name for the elph version in the us.
I have that Olympus C-70 (aka C-7000) with cracked screen, but I want to test it very much. Looking for a replacement LCD. AND its value a bit more than you mentioned:)
Nice! By Golly, you're right! I was looking at an untested camera, the "good condition" on eBay are $75-100, wow!
😀
What I says Jen people like me buy old digi cams is we look for the old look in a pic like the old ones gave and when the old digi cam does videos it adds a old look like a camcorder so it adds a lot of style to you collection in pics and videos
I have a Fujifim S9500 command dial has broken on it but it bailed me out many times at weddings when my Canon dslr failed on me.
Ah shoot! Bummer about the dial, that's a great camera, super optical zoom.
@@pricklypearcamera Yeah got a newer version, powered zoom doesn't seem as good really and build/pic quality not as good either.
I was wondering when the next video would be
I love these videos, and I LOOOOVE cameras! Where would I start if ZI wanted to do what you do? Good place to find and bid on lots? Thanks man!
Hi, thanks for watching! I use a large variety of sources-garage sales, estate sales, local auctions, gov. auctions, thrift stores, B2B, pawn shops, and a few more. You might also check mercari (ap based) there are a lot of cameras on there. I do also buy occasionally on eBay. I would start with a little broader categories like say "electronics" as cameras can be a bit specific and you may end up not finding much in certain areas, so if you are looking for more than just cameras, it can be a little bit easier to get some value out of sourcing (not wasting time). Hope that was helpful.
Thanks for the awesome response, subbed!
hey, I started watching you like 3 weeks ago and your knowledge is astonishing.
I'm seeking help and you are the person I know maybe know something about it.
The case look like this: I have offer to buy a Revuenon 1:1,7/7,5-60 Lens but I don't know what mount it have, how much should I pay for it etc.
Greetings from Poland :D
Hi, appreciate your viewership! I just looked up the Revuenon 7.5-60mm as I wasn't familiar with it. I found some Revuenon prime lenses in 35mm and 50mm sizes for $20-50 USD, I did not find a single sold 7.5-60mm, so tough to say value, but if you compare to the primes plus some zoom Revuenon lenses that I found, my best guess would be $30-60 USD depending upon condition of glass/etc. Not sure how that converts to Polish Zloty
His nice video, just wanted to ask if you have parts for the nikon l820 i.e d mainboard any idea if wht i could do
Sorry, I don’t currently. But I see parts for various Nikon L series models on eBay pretty regularly.
At 45:37 wasn't that just the grid lines option turned on?
At around 45:39 in the middle right of the LCD you'll see a little semicircle of dead lines, sorry my video didn't show it great as my second close up camera died midway through the video!
@@pricklypearcamera I see it now. Thanks for taking the time to point it to me, good sir!
Kevin, I have lost (somewhere in our house, I hope) my 2011 Canon Elph 520HS. I am desperate to buy one from a reputable seller. Do you have one? I watch your videos hoping to see one. Thanks!
Bummer to hear that! No, I don't currently have the ELPH 520, but do tend to get them every few months or so...hopefully soon!
Do you never get the docking stations for the easyshare cameras?
It seems like 90% of the time they are missing!
I feel like you could raise your prices by at least 50% no problem. Your target market definitely has disposable income
He’s from the us, his prices might be different from yours
