  • The main tools are ink and brush, but I recommend you also try to draw with a watercolor brush, pen brush, and others.
    To prepare
watercolor palettes, a round brush, a plate for ink, thin Korean papers (It can be replaced with other thin paper that spreads well), a used waste paper, a pressing stone (something that you can press to keep your paper from moving)
    ----------------
"Sumugdamchaehwa" is a traditional Korean ink painting technique drawn through the brightness of ink called "Mug." It is similar to watercolor, but it is drawn with one brush without repeated brushing. In Asian culture, black and white, which were not regarded as colors in the West, were perceived as colors. If you need a new method of meditation, I recommend you try this painting technique.
‘Sagunja’ is a symbol of four plants: plum, orchid, chrysanthemum, and bamboo.
The plum means spring, the orchid is summer, the chrysanthemum is autumn, and the bamboo is winter.
Orchids spread the subtle fragrance even in the deep mountains.
Les orchidées répand le parfum subtil même dans les montagnes profondes.
Orchid leaves should be expressed with one brushstroke by controlling the pressure so that the bottom is wide and the tip is fine.
You need to practice to relax and express the leaves' direction with one brush stroke. With constant practice, you will get used to drawing with a brush.
