  • 'Sumukdamchaehwa' is a traditional Korean ink painting technique painted through the brightness of ink, called 'Muk.' It is similar to a watercolor painting. But it is drawn with one brush without repeating.
In Asian cultures, black and white, which were not regarded as a color in the West, were recognized as colors. If you need a new meditation method, I recommend you try this art.
    ----------------------------
    To prepare
signature stamps, a round brush, a flat brush, a plate for ink, thin Korean papers (It can be replaced with other thin paper that spreads well), used waste papers, a pressing stone (something that you can press to keep your paper from moving.), etc.
    1. Flower blossom
When drawing chrysanthemum, it is good to draw the flower first.
If you draw a bouquet, it is also good to draw a flower that becomes the main character first and then draw leaves and others.
Please refer to the video above for detail on how to draw flowers.1. Flower blossom

    2, Chrysanthemum leaves
The leaves of flowers vary in appearance, just like flowers.
There are leaves that are visible in front ('Jeongyeop'), that are facing backward ('Banyeop'), that are facing backward underneath the front leaf ('Julyeop'), and that are facing forward ('Kwonyeop').
When you draw a leaf, you start with a branch, and you express the vein of the leaf.
The central leaf vein's location and orientation are important parts of the leaf's appearance.
    3.A chrysanthemum flower with leaves
When drawing chrysanthemums, it is better to position the leaves gently and stems with charcoal or a pencil before painting. Then draw a flower.
Express the leaves directly below the flowers in a dark, plump, and glossy way.
That's because the flowers look more prominent.
And express the front of the leaf in a darker color than the back.
