    I like the stock sounds with resonator better... at least on the video. Maybe in person its different. But guess the extra bit of torque makes the mod worth the exercise if you have the desire.

    just a bit of info on your jacking point, I have steeds jacking rails, simply unbolt 4 bolts hold rails in place and bolt back up, you can then jack car up anywhere along under the rails, initially designed for fox body race cars to stiffen up the body because apparently they suffered with a bit of flex , hope this is helpful 🙏

    I have 2021 Mach 1 , I work at Ford Dealership, another customer bought a Mach 1 and had the H pipe installed before delivery. We put them side by side and the mechanics were split on which sounded better. The majority felt the slight difference wasn't worth cutting out resonator. Just my 2 cents.

    • @SerendipitousProducts
      @SerendipitousProducts 2 года назад +4

      Odd because it’s a huge difference in sound especially at high rpm like 6500 to 7000. The resonator was the first thing I removed for my Steeda Hpipe. Even with OEM mufflers it was huge difference in sound.

      @@OEMPlus no. With the oem and hpipe it’s was very nice even at highway speed it’s barely noticeable till you step into it. With the Steeda aggressive time it’s loud even at idle then when you are wot it’s extremely loud. But again it’s sounded fine just cruising deep sound not crazy.

    I'm a little skeptical on that torque increase. I mean, those guys are selling their H-pipe, so I'm not convinced that it's accurate. Seems like too much torque gain for such a basic modification.

    • @truckandroll989
      @truckandroll989  3 года назад +2

      I see what you mean. But the way it tapers off seems to make sense. It is also possible that maybe on their first pull they rolled into the throttle. I believe older generations came with an h pipe stock. I wonder why ford got away from it

    So, I have Steeda's X-pipe. I really don't know a lot about the gains... BUT... The sound is absolutely without a doubt my favorite change to my '22 Mach 1!!! THE BURBLES!!!!! For instance... easy acceleration in 3rd (man pedal) about half throttle up to 35ish mph and roll out of the throttle and those burbles sound off. With just the addition of an x-pipe (everything is drivetrain is completely stock) this is the best sounding V8 I have ever owned. It was a waste to purchase the BO sound system because the music from that active exhaust in track mode is one the the best parts of this vehicle!!!!!

      I agree these cars IMO sound perfect from the factory. One of the main reasons I left my exhaust stock downstream of my twin turbos. Eventually Id like to add electronic cutouts just so I have little to no back pressure but otherwise absolutely perfect as a daily
