    • @VerisimilitudeDude

      +Str33tfalcon Noooooo. It was serious, obviously. It needs to be at least the size of the bike or maybe twice as large. XD

    • @stevehash158
      @stevehash158 7 лет назад +4

      just think about it wehn you buy this and remove this exhaust with a forklift then the bike will get 200lbs off and you suddenly have a fucking turbo bike =)

    • @exothermal.sprocket
      @exothermal.sprocket 7 лет назад +5

      Or you could do like the other bikes, put a huge tumor beneath the bike and bolt on a small pipe out the side of it. Trouble with that, requires you to replace the entire system if you want any performance and weight loss benefits. This? Take the canister off and the cat goes away.
      Welcome to the new emissions standards.

    I've watched Kevin from his early SB days with the three rides on a Yosh. GS 700ES in the Calif.races only Yoshimura did that year, I believe he won all three of them ! And even remember him on that FJ600 in 1984 during Endurance racing !! He was my favorite rider, to bad in his early days he didn't know how to relax and not have to go Balls out all the time, he crashed leading many times and it cost him the 1987' SB Championship and the 1989' 500 GP won also. I just can't believe how aged he looks !!! I'm 60 now and he looks much older than me Lol.

    I just can not wait until I get my newest ride. When the time comes, I must say it will be hard to decided exactly which bike I would love to get. Now a days, it seems that the Japanese bikes are just as expensive as the italian bikes. So I guess it comes down to what you really want in your ride. Just great to always see new innovations and how different bike companies just keep on pushing the bar higher and higher. Definitely a great time to own any newer bike. Technology, and all that innovation available to the common person. Just have to hope we do not kill ourselves, or out do our skill set. Afterall it is great to have a nice ride, but also a nice life to go with it. Keep it coming!!

    Such a difference between the older way of riding and the new riding style on the superbike. I thought he'll wipe his front end off with that kind of body positioning on the lean angles. But hey, he's a World champ afterall; anything that makes you go faster is good.

    Anyone who has seen Kevin race will know he'd sooner crash than come second in any race. He would have won more championships if he ever took it easy now and then. He is a do or die guy. Yes we know he's a Suzi guy, and you've got to admit the spiel is well spoken. He has the meanest race face ever. The guy's a deadset legend.

    • @droceretik
      @droceretik 7 лет назад +5

      Bzzzzzzt. Wrong. He co- rode in the 2013 Suzuka 8 hour race to a 3rd place finish. www.crash.net/motogp/news/194004/1/schwantz-rolls-back-the-years-with-suzuka-podium.html
      He runs a successful road racing race school and rides in selected off road endurance events from time to time.

      @theavangelist 7 лет назад

      you may have missed the sarcasm

    • @droceretik
      @droceretik 7 лет назад +8

      Yeah, who wouldn't have missed your attempt at sarcasm? What was your point? I think your last response is an attempt to rationalise your foolish comment on Kevin's ability to be familiar with and use current motorcycle technology. He runs a racing school which includes the latest production motorcycles and is contracted to Suzuki. I'm sure he has ridden every production superbike from all the manufacturers his students bring to his classes. He acts as a technical consultant and tester for Suzuki's production superbikes. He would also be very familiar with the data loggers and technology used by racing teams including tyre development and suspension tuning.

    • @theavangelist
      @theavangelist 7 лет назад

      droceretik read and interpret the point. the bike is behind the market place, most bikes have had ABS, TC and the like for a good 5yrz. Suzuki are massively behind. my comment was in relation to the poorly scripted promo guff that one of the few standing spokespersons for suzuki is dumped with. people on RUclips are so bloody hostile. get off your soap box

    • @droceretik
      @droceretik 7 лет назад +5

      First you tried to put shit on Kevin Schwantz by implying he hasn't ridden for ten years, that Suzuki is behind in technological development and that Suzuki shouldn't run promotional videos. I pointed out that he has "slung a leg over" bikes in the last ten years and not only that, co-rode to third place in the Suzuka 8 hour plus he runs a race riding school. You were wrong in 3 out of 3 points. Then you back-peddle by claiming it was a sarcastic comment. Stop trying to pretend you are funny and clever.

    My only concern is the cheesy chassis, compared to any other 1000cc class bike it looks like it's half the thickness and strength of other bikes, I've seen comments on Suzuki competitiveness in WSBK or MOTO America and Suzuki has been doing better but maybe with this new package they can get more podiums this year, especially in WSBK racing where Kawasaki has dominated for several years now, even Ducati now is a top flight bike to throw into the mix, only time will tell!

      Not slow, this bike has 500ccm more than his old RGV 500. But on this bike he doesn't have to be careful with the throttle, especially in corners, the TCS will prevent that the bike shoot him into the sky

    Too bad we dont see Stoner vs Marquez, but back then people think that Stoner style was safer and faster on the track...
    What you see here isn’t just a professional athlete at the peak of his skill, but also a guide on how to get the most out of your motorcycle. Study his form and apply it to your own riding and you’ll be both faster and safer.
    rideapart.com/articles/this-is-how-you-should-be-riding-your-sportsbike
    PS. As far as I know, stoner style has the same style like Randy Mamola or Gary McCoy and even similar to that of King Kenny.

      it has bff forks, if you dont know what they are look them up
      No electronic ohlins system that isnt BFF also cannot compare.
      BFF forks or on an entirety different level from regular shocks, hence race bikes use this type of suspension.

    • @zeuth_Sengsou
      @zeuth_Sengsou 7 лет назад +1

      TheRealBajan BFF suspension I heard its pretty good

    • @CunningStuntsGoFast
      @CunningStuntsGoFast 7 лет назад

      but it still is a fork on a stock bike so the costs cant be that high . front and rear quality shocks cost about 3 grand so i doubt if this stock suspension is in the league of aftermarket top notch stuff

    • @timcolvin6933

      What are you even talking about , dude? Triumph makes great bikes but the daytona doesn't have the bfp front forks, bosh tc imu, braking imu, variable valve timing or even close to the power that this new gsxr has. As far as I'm aware, this new gsxr is going to be quite competitive with aprilia, bmw and kawasaki now. Triumph bikes are not even in the same ballpark as this bike.
