Current models are the GSX-R125 and GSX-R150; GSX-R600 which was manufactured from 1992 to 1993, and since 1997; the GSX-R750 since 1985; and the GSX-R1000 since 2001.

Enormous respect to the skilled and dedicated engineers at Suzuki for my great 1978 GS1000 and my 1991 GSX-R 1100. Those engines were indestructible and offered leading--edge performance at the time. I would buy another GSX-R if I were younger. Solid engineering and miles of enjoyment over 5 countries. Great video. All the best, Rob in Switzerland

Suzuki is at its core of building the best machines the world has ever witnessed. GSX-R is undeniably one of the most reliable bikes ever build by an established Japanese company. I am a fan.

The Japanese build the best motorcycles on the planet 40 years ago and still today. Those of us that love and have had the honor to experience riding on such affordable well made motorcycles owe the Japanese a huge thank you. Thank you Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki!

    • @llerradish
      @llerradish 7 лет назад +85

No, but a friend of mine has one that is in very good condition and he is now having electrical issues with it. I could ride it if I wanted to and I still may. He told me it's fun to ride but no more than a Japanese bike.
I think all bikes are fun to ride, my problem with BMW, Arillia, Ducati is that they are not as reliable and parts cost more than Japanese. I have seven Japanese bikes from 1988 to 2012 and haven't had major problem with any and I ride a lot. I did have to have the carb's cleaned on my two oldest bikes and I did have small coolant leak on my 1997 Concours and I rode it that way for a few months until I figured out it was just a loose clamp on one of the hoses, never did over heat. People can spend their money any way they want, but I'm sticking to the four Japanese brands.

Went down 3 different times. It's sitting in my garage in need of a new front wheel and Tire, Rebuild the forks, and new fairings. Hopefully it's up in a few more months. It is definitely a whole new beast compared to what I'm used to riding. But, I finally got the bike I've wanted since I was 10.

Have a lot of fun with it, a real genious construction. A small but important detail: Your service manual for the 750 K8 and 1000 K7 is the best I have see ever. And I have seen many of them.

I've owned yamaha, Honda, kawasaki, Suzuki my whole life of riding. multiple models and years from r6, r1, cbr600rr, cbr100rr, zx6r, zx10r and tbh I like different things about every bike but the GSXR has hands down never cease to amaze me. Their handling to power ratio is very easy to handle for a new rider. 07 cbr600rrs handle the best imo but as far as power the gsxr is a missile on straights. kawi has a tad bit stiff out the box and Yamahas power band is wack. gsxr boy forever.

I have owned many bikes from all four Japanese brands and also Harley.
I think Suzuki 4 cylinder engines in the GSX-R's, and all those that use derivations
of those engines like Bandit's, the katana, GSX-S are the best of all.
Durable and can be pushed to far higher than stock power without breaking.
The best shifting transmissions.... The passion for the bikes that Suzuki engineers have is evident

Hi guys, ooutstanding engineering, state of the art presentation, extremely well presentation, very explicit, very simple easy technical vocabulary, make me fall on tears of emotions, remain me on my days working for cummins engine company on rd, that impresive state of the art machine where every body envolve on the development did his best to acomplish the job done, congratulations guys, once I saw the documentary I almost jump off joy, I own one of those an I well know how it feels, most kind of all of you for that impecable presentation, keep up the good work.

    Thank you for this.
The plant mentioned is a mere 1/2 an hour from here on a bike (if you are quick).
My 2012 Suzuki DL 650 V-Strom (which I love) is also finished off there.
I got it from a dealer near here, so it must have traveled a mere 20 kilometres or so from factory to dealer.
    Gotta love them Suzies :)

Those early generation gixxers will always have a place in my heart, best looking bikr ever with the CBR's a close second. 2 round headlight never should've been abandoned!

If it was a American or European co., that would all be arguing and saying how great they were, Japanese culture is humble and collaborative, respectful and quiet. And produces the best results. Ths GSXRs are wonders of modern design and complexity that preform beautifully. Love my '03 GSXR 750!

Love my 2016 1000, bought it off the floor with only 1 mile, over 1400 now with thousands more to go. What a truly beautiful machine.

I had a gsxr 86 model in 1987 . over the decades i had a few more between other bikes . In 2004 i bough the 1100 version but in 2018 I sold it to buy a Triumph. A few weeks ago i bought another gsxr1100 [ 87/88 model] today i sold the Triumph . I also have a 89 gsxr slingshot . Once you have ridden a GSXR nothing compares .

Own a 2001 GSX-R 600 myself, I love it! I'm sad to get off and excited to get back on every time I ride. Since it's too cold right now, I am like a kid on December 24 who can't wait for the next morning!

I once had a 1991 750 GR7AB - it was waaay to heavy for me but still - of all the bikes I owned till today - it's the bike I rode the most. It was so smooth and controllable ... just an awesome machine.

GSX-R is the best! I had the 86' 750 and 1100 models, raw and aggressive. The engines sound like perfect distortion when pushed really hard. Loved it!

As an owner of a 2022 Suzuki GSXR 750Z, I really appreciate the engineering and handling as well as the styling. The only thing I would like to see on my bike is a smaller LED front headlight, like or similar to the GSXR 1000, and a quick shifter. I love my gsxr 750, and it's a keeper.
I don't care about all the rider aids. No need for ABS, traction control, wheelie control, ride by wire, launch control.... Keep it simple and its great for the track or street! Thanks Suzuki!!
