Cremona Quartet vs CSSS [Shostakovich String Quartet no. 8 Excerpt]

Cremona Quartet sounds a little more "Raw" and I think works slightly better as a quartet than CSSS. Not to say CSSS doesn't work well together, but to me, it sounds more suited to being first chairs of a section. Let me know what you think!

I'm glad you found it helpful. For string quartet writing 100% Cremona for me. However, I love csss for using to layer on top of their ensemble counterparts as first chairs.
