- There's this tendency to make photography complicated, or to make out that it is just a bag of tricks. Yet there are simple concepts that when applied, will make all of us better photographers.
I received this advice years ago and it made a huge difference. Now I am passing it along.

Excellent advice, so simple and spot on. Those were so wonderful pictures, thanks for sharing!
Great images. You are too modest. Wow.
Peter, I mostly take photographs of people during church worship services. My motto is: Capturing Faith in Action. You desertions of story telling photos resonate with what I try to do as a photographer. Thank you. Dan
I love those photos of human moments where people are being themselves.
Thank you for bringing this up. This approach is one I generally (not always) go for as well. I have found, though, that my idea about a story I want to convey with a photo is not necessarily what a viewer may see. Especially when personal experiences, cultural or temporal background or details (which someone else might not even notice) come into play. So, one better not be disappointed if the interpretations won't match.
I think it's cool when people come up with their own interpretations of my photos.
good advice there.
Great advice!
Best ridiculous clickbait headline ever maybe
Hey, it worked on you, and it was the best photographic advice I ever received.
