    Hello to you, and thank you both. Why did you use flying out and not flying?

    • @highlevellistening
      @highlevellistening  Месяц назад +1

      Good question. Native speakers love to use phrasal verbs to soften our language and sound more casual, even when it doesn't change the meaning of the sentence.
      It's correct to say: "We are flying on Sunday."
      It's correct to say: "We are flying out on Sunday". = They have the same meaning.
      Some other common examples are things like:
      "Can you send that picture to me?"
      "Can you send over that picture to me?" = They have the same meaning.
      We have a playlist all about phrasal verbs if you want to learn more! www.youtube.com/@highlevellistening/playlists

    She wanted a change of pace from a boring life, so she planned on booking a trip. she was making an itinerary and can't wait to fly out. She decided to leave in one week and come back at the end of month. moreover , booked a bed and breakfast right on the beach and of course was going to bring some souvenirs back. But at the last minute, the trip was canceled and she ended up just taking a two day getaway.
