Thanks for such an conversation, which will enhance my speaking and listening . How I can improve understanding the conversation. Some time it is difficult to understand .
Thanks for watching! For listening practice, I would recommend listening to a short excerpt (just 1 or 2 sentences) and repeat it over and over. Eventually you will pick up the individual words more easily, then when you hear the same words in a different situation, it will be easier to catch them again, hope that helps!
As someone said below,It's lucky to have you,Cat & Mark. I will ask all my freinds English learners if they've heard about your lessons in order to like your page and follow you,
My morning is going well so far.... Having our Holly Week holiday next week un Spain.... Enjoy your speeches, as always... Appreciate your efforts sooo much... 🌟
"It's been a hectic day so far, but I'm managing to stay organized and focused. I'm looking forward to crossing some items off my checklist by the end of the day." your videos provide valuable insights, techniques, and inspiration to support my language learning journey. Thanks a million!
things are really going well recently. i have tried a few new recipes and they turned out really good and learned many useuful expressions from both of you. actually i am addicted to watch your podcast whenever i can slot it into my schedule. many thanks
I don't really know how to congratulate you both for your excellent method , it helps me a lot to understand english and I hope I ll be able to speak sooner or later. Keep up the good work .
Thank you verry much for this Channel, its my first time to learn English languague but im verry happy to follow all the lessons. Portuguese is my oficial languague i deserve to speak like a native.
All your English teaching videos are great. But they seem a bit long. I think you should make another list of videos under 10 minutes for beginners like me. Thanks for the effort you put into teaching us English.
Good morning teachers! It is really useful expression. It seems that small talk is easy sentence but it is hard to come up when I am talking to overseas colleagues. 😅
I know it can be hard. Our advice is to take 1 or 2 phrases that you like the best, and practice trying to use them in conversation in the next few weeks!
Overall things haven’t been great last few days here, but anyway I started my day with you, guys, with your new nice and helpful lesson, and it’s really good.
Great!! A more appropriate and super effective one is, “ I am going out for a puff!! Do you….?” The risk is an quick end for non-puffers!! So follow this upload. Now your boss enters in the picture; he asks: where are you going? Shouldn’t you rather quit and stick in your desk!! How about the report, I asked you to prepare? Now it’s your turn to be super creative!! All the best!!
Hi, guys 🤗. I have a lot to catch up on with you. I'm gonna start with this: If I answer to the question "how are you?" With a happy "l'm ok", does it still sound like not so good? 🤔 By the way, how often do you actually ask "how are you" instead of "how are you doing? " or "how's it going?" Thank you. Keep up with the good work. You're amazing 🤩
Hello! Good questions! If you say: "I'm okay." in a positive, happy tone then yes it sounds good. No one will think you are unhappy or unwell. "I'm okay" is like a "5/6 out of 10." I think as a teacher I often say: "How are you?", but with my friends and family, I more often use "How's it going?" or "How are you doing?" At work or in the office, "How are you" is probably the safest choice. But if you are very close with your colleagues and have a good relationship, you can say: "How's it going" or "How are you doing" and that's appropriate as well. Hope that makes sense!
@@highlevellistening It makes total sense About the other thing, 6/10 is not so good 😝. I've been trying to convince someone (a student ) to answer in a different way 😄. I'll keep trying.
I feel sad today 😢 I really need to work but I lost the opportunity again... I feel maybe I'm not able to achieve this... It has been too difficult for me...😔 I need a B2 in English
Language study is never easy, just take it day by day and little by little, don’t go too fast or you’ll be disappointed, keep up the good work, it’ll get better!
The same thing is very difficult for me. I may feel like a constant failure, as I have been stuck at the A2 level and have not advanced a single step to the B1 level. Despite all my efforts, I have succeeded. It makes sense to learn it, especially since people around me never speak it. It is difficult.
Trust me, we all learn from our experiences. You may have missed an opportunity today, but you will definitely gain something from it that you might understand better tomorrow. Keep up the great work! We don't always succeed on the first try
Because of the word order in English: How + has + subject + been? This would be the correct option: How has your day been? How has your week been? How has your morning been? "How has been your day?" doesn't follow the correct word order for questions because the subject needs to go between the verbs. Thanks for your question, hope that helps!

Could you explain why “Everything is going well so far” is Present Perfect?🤔
Ahh good catch. That's actually a mistake :( It's not the Present Perfect - it's the Present Continuous. Sorry about that!

Is it ok like “How has been your day “ instead of”how has your day been”.?
Because of the word order in English: How + has + subject + been?
This would be the correct option: How has your day been? How has your week been? How has your morning been?
"How has been your day?" doesn't follow the correct word order for questions because the subject needs to go between the verbs.
Thanks for your question, hope that helps!
