Hammer curls are more functional, we are much more likely to be lifting things in the real world with more of a hammer grip than an underhand grip.
Also if you have small forearms they're really good

Obviously both exercises work different muscles so it depends on what you're trying to work
I have a bad left wrist and hammer curls are really the only ones I can do 😢
I’m confused about this because I can do hammer curls easier than bicep curls with 30 pound dumbbells so I thought bicep curls were better

I am doing hammer curls with dumbells and bicep curls with bars. Getting older I can't target every muscle as much as I used to, I just can't get enough rest. So with pull downs, wide and close position and these other two it's more than enough for me. I wish I could go more into detail, but I already do six workouts a week. Four lift split and two cardio spins.
That sounds like a great routine that has ample variety! I’m sure you will have plenty of success following that consistently 💪🏻

What would be the better exercise to grow the bracialis the hammer curl or supernating curls ?
Hammer curls are better for building the brachialis. I like cross body hammer curls and reverse curls with an ez bar as well.
I'm doing cable curl and hammer curl 4x12 twice a week.Both for extreme failure last 2 sets.Do you think I should change something ?
Hi Emre! I like the volume, frequency, and intensity you're using, but I would change up the exercises slighlty for the second workout. Maybe add incline dumbbell curls and hammer grip preacher curls for the second workout.
I only see 4 toyotas and a bmw
So I’m a do 3 sets of 10 hammer curls and 3 sets of 10 bicep curls instead of 6 sets of 10 bicep curls
Currently I do 3 sets of 20 biceps curls only.. now I’m thinking to add hammer curls also.. can you give me some tips cause i am almost a newbie

@@ANi_1355 bro the best is to do 3 sets of hammer preacher curls to target long head and 3 sets of concentration curls to target the short head of the bicep. This is best for overall bicep growth.

you can prioritize hammer curls but go lower sets on bicep curls
I think hammer curls will help to import fore arms and bicep curls help to build your biceps

Don't get overwhelmed. It's not as complicated as ppl make it out to be. Just lift whether weights or bodyweight and be consistent. Figure out your reps and sets as you go along. You don't need the perfect program to get ripped.
