    i just found your channel and im so glad you made these videos, so little documented info on these, anything on the forums is usually outdated and the parts dont exist. One thing i did wanna say is that mine has an issue where you described the heatsoak and after driving and having temps go up, the car will keep cranking for about 10-15 secs before firing up, if it sits for about 10 mins or more. Is that how long it was for yours? Again great and valuable content, keep it up.

      Thanks so much! I feel the same way. The MK2 is such a forgotten platform! My starter would crank extremely slow when warm and barely start. It would take longer since it was cranking slowly. Once the starter was replaced it cranks perfect in any temps!
