    You shoulda laid the fibreglass matting straight on the por15 when it was still wet or at least tacky and used the por15 instead of the resin (por15 is a resin). Then sanded the underside and por15 that as well and even put on more fibre glass (or used por patch underneath). That woulda sandwiched the rust and sealed it completely while giving more strength. Rubberised paint will often crack or chip and let more moisture in.

    Im doing literally the exact same thing on my '84 Celica so of course I would come across this!
    Gotta love these really water tight liftbacks which definitely aren't prone to rusting at all

      Yeah sadly these cars love to rust. Currently dealing with a good bit of it myself. Good luck on your project friend!

    I was thinking 🤔 to cut it and re-welding the floor again but it’s too much work

      It is a good bit of work. If I was a skilled welder (which I am not) I bet it would be very easy job!

    I have to put a new tank and new fuel pump but still it’s not working I don’t know where is the relay for the fuel pump it’s not getting electric ⚡️
