- Xeno'jiiva is a large dragon with an otherworldly appearance. It has two eyes and six orange glowing spots running up the length of its horns. Parts of its body glow ethereal blue, making its skin appear crystalline and translucent. Its wings are frayed at the edge of the membrane and are grayish-blue in color. When enraged, its torso glows a hot red and orange.

Phase 1: You just stumbled upon something you really shouldn't have, and are now very close to getting killed by what is essentially an alien.

Anyone else here after safi'jiiva "leak"?
Xeno and Safi are implied to be almost unnatural, since they're pretty much made of pure bioenergy, so it's kind of a shame that Safi'Jiva was basically just "red Western dragon", when its newborn version looked positively alien.
Personally that makes it more interesting to me, out of all the unique things they could have done, none are more unique than a straight up DND Red Dragon. Consider all the other monsters have their own MH kind of visual quirks, even Elders like Fatalis. But Safi is outright the most "traditional" design. Which is awesome. Also that falling star attack it does is super cool.

The first time I fought this guy, I had failed because I ran out of time because after defeating him in phase 1 by dropping crystals on him I thought I had to get him to do something in phase 2 instead of just fighting him.
I realize I actually listened to the theme and forgot it
Not gonna lie when i first did this i was like can i even beat this bastard he is huge, then something inside of me sparked to where i remember i soloed fatalis, white fatalis, yama tsukami, amatsumagatsuchi and other past monsters and i went fuck it i can do this.

I liked the fight it was very easy to beat and it gives such theme inti the character of being a newborne as you see and i like the theme and the characters look is amazing 10/10 fight even though the four elder dragons before beat my ass very easily

i would have loved to have a proper mr xeno'jiiva fight but the closest we got was arch tempered xeno'jiiva :(

How can such a cool looking Monster have such an boring fight.
Even the theme is boring....though perhaps I've fought it so much that I don't react to it at all :|
the normal fight was supposed to feel like your fighting a newborn which is why it seems so boring but the arch tempered is a more experienced xeno'jiiva wich makes it feel less boring
the arch tempered xeno'jiiva fight has more complex attacks and no cover so you have to dodge a lot more and also have to beware of the lava on the floor from his beams which he does a lot of
@@noobifyedplayer9445 it was the Final Boss of the game, imersion should NEVER stand in the way of gameplay.
His size is his biggest weakness, cause he moves the same speed as regular monsters but due to his gigantic size he technically is slower and thus easier to hit. I think if they buffed his damage a smidge, made him faster, and had Xeno utilize its length and size effectively like bagel or Deviljho his fight would have been more fun and challenging. Still love the fight though even if its hard to faint to him.
@@skrubmcbruh6843 Its not really the size, other giant Monsters like Gogmazios, Dalamadur and Narkarcos as example are all fun and these Monsters all came before Xenojiva existed. Its that his moveset and the stuff he does during the hunt are rather boring.
Edit: I don't care that Xenojiva is really easy, all i want is Xenojivas hunt to be a spekcacle thats worth being a Final Boss. Xenojiva feels more like the boss you fight before the Final Boss.
