@@Kazuhira2249 If Elder Seal wasn't a garbage mechanic that elder dragons could just negate immediately after being applied to it, and if Lunastra wasn't covered in broken hitboxes like her disjointed tail flick or her charge, then I'd be inclined to agree. I'd had Lunastra hunts where she gets depowered by Elder Seal, immediately flares back up, and goes straight for the supernova.
@@brandond2341 The Jho scene was fun to watch, but Jho seemed pretty weak in it despite being strong enough to battle elder dragons, fart monkey should have been annihilated almost instantly. The scene would have fit better with Anjanath, even if he's a New World exclusive (but he's in some Old World locales in Rise so maybe it wouldn't be that in accurate.) That aside, I think the film was good, especially compared to the dumpster fire that was the live action movie. The writing is fine, but feels a bit rushed at times, the cgi leaves a bit to be desired but it's clear that it wasn't really a huge priority project. Overall, while note a masterpiece (which is understandable) it's solid as a Monster Hunter film and enjoyable.

@@reallycantthinkofausername487 elders dragons can live for a very longtime so and are never or rarely actively hunted because they’re rare so I don’t think that teostras would be extinct.
Lunastra is one of the most unforgiving, deadly, annoying, impossible and overall absurdly hard monsters in world. She is literally the only non-raid non-event monster that kicks my butt every time I fight it. But that's why I love her so much, it's such a breath of fresh air after absolutely obliterating nergigante, vaal hazak, kushala daora and teostra. Silly me thought she was just going to be a reskin with a few attacks changed, but nope! Her fight works in a COMPLETELY different way than teostra's.

Lunastra is a freaking beast in the movie (She nearly took out the entire hunting party and the villagers without even using her full power)
I think a swift breeze could take anything down from the movie.

Blinded by nostalgia like most monster hunter fans.. I think they did a good job capturing the Emperor/Empress aesthetic with Teostra & Lunastra
