SPOILERS FOR MONSTER HUNTER LEGEND'S OF THE GUILD! I REPEAT, SPOILERS FOR MONSTER HUNTER LEGEND'S OF THE GUILD! I'll never look at Lunasta the same way ever again after actually seeing her kill two people...
if you watched Monster Hunter the Movie, then Nerscylla's killed pretty much an entire military regiment, one of them by laying eggs in his body and having its babies hatch out of him in a grosser display than Xenomorph chest hatching. Diablos killed two people as well, and Rathalos tore apart a military convoy and burned people into charred skeletons. They're animals, they don't have human morals. They've canonically in the lore of the games and other media, KILLED people.. A LOT.
@@mikotomisaka8714 Yeah, but we've never seen it in game! Going into the [THERE IS NO LIVE ACTION MOVIE WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?] I expected that kind of thing because it was just a bad action film. You see this kind of thing from other bad action films like sharktopus or pirhana. So that doesn't count. Legends of the Guild was different because it was accurate to the games completely! It was basically a feature length Monster Hunter cutscene!
@@saurianfan7102 unfortunately for you, the movie is confirmed to be canon to Monster Hunter World, and Aiden himself actually appeared.. in that movie.
@@saurianfan7102 it really wasn't bad.. it was better than the Res Evil films at least, and the monsters were well made. Plus they picked good actors to play serious handler and MHW handler.
Lunastra isn't as bad for me and my friends as most people say. I enjoy the fight actually. If you're properly prepared this fight becomes really tame aside from the occasional ultimate attack. My friend fought a master rank lunastra with banbaro gear which wasn't even fully upgraded I believe. Success with one cart left on the first try. Tho admittedly he fought her many times before and played a weapon he was really familiar with. And yes I can confirm it as I watched the intire fight via share play on Ps5. I cant wait for her return eventually since she got lost on the way to rise
Funny thing - World actually reversed the in-lore tendencies of the two dragons. In the Old World, Lunastra would at least give you a warning roar before going to town on you, while Teostra would attack on sight. But in the New World, Teostra will just ignore you after a brief glance unless you actually attack him, as if he considers you unworthy of his attention; meanwhile, it's Luna who attacks on sight in the New World.
description is wrong it's an old elder dragon. It's last appearance before world was the wyporium giving you it's armour in exchange for teostra parts armour wise. Other than that. 2 and freedom that is it in actual game appearances.
To those who have played the series from the start, i would like to ask. I've been playing the original Monster Hunter on PS2 quite a bit lately. If i'm used to the controls of that title, is there a possible way to change my control scheme in World to match that per my preference? (I don't actually have the game so i really can't check.)
i dont think so the ps4 version beter play the pc with a controler, iv played all the mh games on emulators , but they always change 1-2 buttons each gen which is quite anoing
Lyra Veil well, i can at least alter most controls to fit the old style. (Good for me, i'm getting so used to the claw.) I got the game last week and having a blast, but sadly no multiplayer on my PS4. e.e gunna get it on PC during a good sale post release though.
damit man y could have waited a month XD , im amphidexius and i hate buttons for consols it always feels like 1 hand is slacking off while the other does everthing
Painfully frustrating/annoying as this boss/monster was (and STILL IS) for me, I’ll admit her boss theme was pretty cool (and slightly better composed than her mate Teostra’s theme)…
If they don't have this theme playing when the Lunastra is shown in combat in all her glory, I will be disappointed. While the Teostra's theme is the music of a King's army marching to war, this is the music of a goddess joining the chaos of a battlefield
As much as fighting Lunastra sucks, at least the devs did her original role in the story justice. Remember, she's a *final boss,* she *should* be this hard. The only reason she was considered weaker than Teostra is that she was introduced in Low Rank offline. That's like saying Rakna-Kadaki should be stronger than Magnamalo because the latter is the Village final boss and the former is High Rank only. They're the same threat level in your notes, and lore-wise Magnamalo is a way bigger issue.
My nightmare... it was for me the hardest monster of the game... if you flash when he fly that doing nothing and so agressive if you think kirin is hard that mean one thing ! you never fight a lunastra !
"Fighting a Lunastra is like riding a bike except you can't get on the bike and the bike is burning you and it's on fire and you are on fire and the ground is on fire and everything is on fire because FIGHTING LUNASTRA IS HELL"

I'm gunna be frank. Kushala was way worse! Don't know what people are complaining about.

"The fur on its body keeps it warm in colder environments, preventing it from freezing, and ice has frozen over its mane. Strangely, the ice never melts, even when brought to warmer climates."
"The Frontier Team had a hard time designing Toa Tesukatora since its relative was Teostra, and it was using an element opposite to fire. They had all sorts of ideas for Toa Tesukatora's appearance, but eventually, they decided to give it a frozen mane."

Awfully onboarded fight but awesome OST. Got me pumped!
After lotsa malding I finally got her, in about 4-5 tries. YEEEAEHAEOAOWW%!
@@mikotomisaka8714 Well... Shit.
@@saurianfan7102 it really wasn't bad.. it was better than the Res Evil films at least, and the monsters were well made. Plus they picked good actors to play serious handler and MHW handler.
My favorite elder dragon! 💙🔥
Luna theme starts playing: a
Me: Brothers, hell is upon us...
Luna Vs lunastra a fight for the ages
Taking her on tonight to get my revenge... I will fight till the very last fire goes out.
IT'S A KITTY!
Funny thing - World actually reversed the in-lore tendencies of the two dragons. In the Old World, Lunastra would at least give you a warning roar before going to town on you, while Teostra would attack on sight. But in the New World, Teostra will just ignore you after a brief glance unless you actually attack him, as if he considers you unworthy of his attention; meanwhile, it's Luna who attacks on sight in the New World.
first lance hunt vs hr luna... casted back to get my hammer....
Teostra theme: Dark Souls boss phase 1
Lunastra theme: Dark Souls boss phase 2
Monster hunter was 1st
1:05 wow on beat👌

Nice
description is wrong it's an old elder dragon.
It's last appearance before world was the wyporium giving you it's armour in exchange for teostra parts armour wise. Other than that.
2 and freedom that is it in actual game appearances.
Did this dude just flash a lunastra?
The fact He didnt show himself failing 25000 times upsets me (ps Im a gs main and got clapped several times before I actually won)
Lyra Veil i got it cheap, like 30 bucks. Besides, i never pay full price for digital shit.
understandable fully i only got 2 games preorderd cause i realy wanted to suport the companies other than that patience is for the poor XD
Napalm cat please go away.
Painfully frustrating/annoying as this boss/monster was (and STILL IS) for me, I’ll admit her boss theme was pretty cool (and slightly better composed than her mate Teostra’s theme)…
Saix/Isa's pokémon
1:22 yup
This theme reminds me of slime rancher for some reason
Whose here because of Legends of the Guild?
I watch the gameplay and eat 2 pcs of chicken then Dancing
Came here because of Netflix movie
If they don't have this theme playing when the Lunastra is shown in combat in all her glory, I will be disappointed. While the Teostra's theme is the music of a King's army marching to war, this is the music of a goddess joining the chaos of a battlefield
@@Lazarultos I’ve seen it, (minor spoiler)
It’s brief but Satisfying!
God it sounfs weird, like it's her own thene, but its more like ab uncanny version of teostra's theme
Who else thaught lunastra was the same strength of teostra but she is stronger

After 1500 hours in IB, Lunastra and Fatalis are the only Monsters I cart to, when I cart.
Respect if you are not carting to Alatreon!
My nightmare... it was for me the hardest monster of the game... if you flash when he fly that doing nothing and so agressive if you think kirin is hard that mean one thing ! you never fight a lunastra !
Lunastra is nothing. Fight a Hyper Rajang to see the true nightmare.
@@lucscarabaeus Lunastra is way harder than hyper rajang lmao
@@abyssalrayz9499 Bruh moment, Hyper Rajang destroys you in one touch.
@@lucscarabaeus He doesn't. Maybe your gear is shit. He's way too predictable and easy to dodge. He ain't shit.
@@abyssalrayz9499 Maybe his gear on rarity 1 I guess
Sounds like decided to go full legend of Zelda with teostras theme song.
Please don't return in sunbreak.
