- I know this isn't the most exciting monster and I already have a run, but I got this on stream a while ago and thought it was enough of an improvement to warrant uploading here. Sub 4 minutes is possible, but it takes some luck to get a stable lock position.

@@thegamingfound Nope. There's an old tribal tradition of putting on a glove filled with bullets ants. You'll end up with hundreds of stings. Excruciatingly painful, but not deadly.

On xbox it would be Y, Y, Y, B (while pulling back), B, repeat.
On PC (What ever your button mapping is) it would be Normal Attack, Normal Attack, Normal Attack, Special Attack (while pulling back), Special Attack, repeat.

Ya now that I re-watch it is kind of a cheesy strat. But It's its till kinda cool to know that this is stuff that can be done by anyone with the right gear and know how.

I'm just gonna say this in case you didn't know. Speed runners generally don't carve because they run the same monster over and over so they don't need the materials because they have done it so many time. I belive that's why anyway hahaha.

I mean the loop when Xeno is on the ground
on PC it looks like left mouse button x 3 (light attacks), press S + right mouse button to flip backwards, continue with right mouse button to make strong leap attack.

Hello! Mind helping me come out with an easy IG build that doesnt require any rare offensive decos? In terms of offensive decorations, i only have 1 attack gem, 1 weakness exploit gem and 1 critical eye gem. Thank you in advance!

Why the sharpness never drop one?
Because of the Master's Touch skill. It prevents the weapon from losing sharpness with critical hits. You get it from 3 teostra's armor pieces.

Renzogszx...it's an infinite stun-lock run, whether it's TA or not is basically irrelevant, redundant. Efficient for farming, but a wholly unimpressive yawn fest. I'd be more gobsmacked by a TA rules Vespoid Infestation.

I have seen various IG runs and thwy dont take all the 3 buffs, the orange one to be specific
It's just to prolong the effects. When u take all 3 buffs at once, u have to wait until all the buffs expire to retake them, which takes time. If u take red and white, and wait until the last seconds before the effects expire then u take orange, it will reset the timer.

How tf do u have infinite staggger
If i were going for a consistent high damage build, would it be better for me to get Diablos Glaive with +40 sharpness for White, level 3 speed sharping with Protective polish, and critical eye/boost, or this build, i am not nearly as good as you so i won’t be able to always hit the weak spots.

I'm so used to using the insect glaive and have never really used any other weapons, any suggestions?
Same was for me in MHW up to Xeno, after that i tried LS, GS and HBG. Bow less often^^. But try any weapon, because you have options to chose from!
Been using IG for my 1st 1k hours. After that, started getting into CB (damage and explosions), Switch Axe (explosions), Bow, and lastly LBG. I still try to use the other weapons but I find these most fun. I think I tried the hammer for the first time last week and I loved it. Maybe you can try it out
If you want fast combat like what the insect glaive offers, then you should definitely try the duel blades.
Brook Gall I am a main Gunlancer so i would say for you to try the Gunlance. I also use the Dual Blades and Light Bowgun on end game (tempered stuff) they are fun and work very well. But every weapon is viable so there is no wrong option.
I know light bow gun is popular right now, but give the heavy bowgun a try, even crafting the standard bone tree youll love the amount of dps that you can get on monsters!

Were is he commanding his insect to attack? Its head or the arm?
chettonex when the kinsect hits the head he gets a attack buff (red)and when he hits the arm(white)he gets a mobility buff
But once he has the buffs does he keeps commanding the kinsect to keep attacking for some extra damage?
Nope. In fact, based on another comment string, I'd say he's avoiding additional damage. There's a variety of other ways to get better DPS, but anything higher outpaces the stagger damage and breaks the chain, so no need for the bug or anything else once the staggerlock starts.

Nah, its just there on the set because he's using the Teostra masters touch set bonus to stay in white sharpness.

Grounded dps is almost higher with insect glaive though. I main insect glaive too, and while flipping around in the air is fun, it's usually suboptimal

You do not jump around in solo-runs. There is literally no point in doing this.
