After looking at the etymology behind Xeno and Safi's names, the evolution from Xeno to Safi also makes sense. Jiva - (from Hinduism-sanskrit) meaning a being infused with life force - since it was born out of the life force of other Elder Dragons. Xeno - meaning strange or alien - especially since it's the weirdest monster we encounter in MHW. Safi - (from arabic) meaning Pure. - it makes sense since Safi is the evolved, refined version of Xeno. SO yeah.
Not only that, but when we got hit by Xeno's Beams of Energy and received Dragon Blight, was the Energy of Safi much more pure and straight up burned us. Which also implies that an creature like the Jiiva line is not meant to exist. Elderdragon fear the Dragon Element since it attacks the mind like it is seen on Savage deviljho and Ebony Odogaron which are in an constant state of hunting to eat and kill anything that comes in their way, if possible. Something that is of high intellegence will be hurt more by the Dragon element(implied in the Safi Siege for which the Elderseal Effect increases the Energy Safi releases when being knocked out). monster, specifically elderdragon that have such an high concentration of Dragon element that it is an light Blue instead of the raw, black-red smoke which drives other Monster insane is an threat that is to be eliminated carefully. However, Alatreon is only as far linked with Safi that it has fleeing from Fatalis who would later awaken in Castle Schrade and the Secluded Valley was the furhtest away and most secluded place to find, only thing left to do was to get rid of everything organic left(the left overs from the other Cocoon's out of which probably other Xeno had hatched and might have already spread in the World, to secure its species as a whole from extinction).
Quick theory: Xeno wasn’t drawing in Zorra to enable its hatching, but as its first meal. Many species will store nutrients or food near their clutch of eggs to provide an immediate nutrition boost.
Or Zora was heading to overload it with bioenergy and fry it. Think about how much energy Zora has stored, and Nergigante wasn't trying to eat Zora itself but rather interfering with the Guild's efforts to capture it. Surely the bioenergy released from an elder as large and powerful as Zora would've killed Xeno
Safi'jiiva effortlessly climbed to the top as my favorite monster of all time and I wish more people would appreciate the nuance behind its design rather than calling it a "generic red dragon". I really hope they bring this big boy back in the future.
Its design is perfect for me. People who complain about it becoming "boring" and so different to Xeno'jiiva should go see the Caterpillar's transformation.
Honestly I don’t hate the design of Safi, but I was disappointed how much less alien-like Xeno evolves into. IMO they should’ve leaned harder into the alien gimmick
1. It’s transformation is symbolic of a “Fallen Angel” 2. The Alien design evolving into an Iconic Red Dragon design, demonstrates that it has adapted to our world. 3. Safi’Jiiva is intended to be an Anti-Fatalis, so it makes sense that it has an equally simple design as well.
@@red1246 Two Dalamadur skeltons There are two skulls the giant one at the top of the vale and one at the bottom of the vail as the entrance to Vaal Hazak's lair
My bet is that since Safi can regenerate itself through absorbing bio-energy, and since Xeno was in a truly massive concentration of bio-energy in the Confluence, it may have just absorbed the rest of the energy there. The crystals may have acted as batteries, and with them being destroyed, could have released even more energy. Basically, Safi is the SAME Xeno we kill in vanilla, just having absorbed even more energy
I find it kinda funny how some people dont like how Safi is what a fully grown Xeno looks like. I mean, do *you* look exactly the same as when you came out of the womb?
I thought that since Xeno is implied to be not be from this world that it’s just absorbs things around him and starts to adapt to his surroundings. Since he was just absorbing pure elder dragon energy he just turned into a stereotypical dragon. Which I like
I would love to see Dalamadur. Such a gianormous beast, also how it ended up in the rotten vale and made the map itself. Another candidate would be zorah. We know he came to the new world to die but where was he before?
8:30 "here's a present for you" now in all seriousness i think safi'jiiva should return in future games. honestly one of the coolest elder dragons i've seen along with nergigante
So far, we've seen almost exclusively endgame apex monsters in this series, so for the next episode, I'd like to see a monster that's not an elder dragon, something that's not a living natural disaster, but is just living in its own ecosystem, trying to make the most of life. Maybe Pukei-Pukei. Been loving these lore videos.
I love how well constructed the world of Monster Hunter is. I mean, everything has a precise and natural explaination, as such even a mighty red dragon capable of dropping a pure energy nuke is belivable in this world. Btw it's kind of a shame that we didn't see a third Jiiva, a fully realized Black Dragon. I don't know why but Safi still feels "incomplete" to me
They did say safi is the adult form and is fully grown so there isn't anything beyond safi. The word Safi means pure in Arabic which once again hints that safi is the final form
@@Rageouz The description specifically says fully grown. And besides, we as humans are considered fully grown adults when we're 18 but we're not done developing. In fact our brains aren't fully developed until we're 25, 7 years after we're considered fully grown or adults. So just because Safi may be considered full grown in no way means there wasn't room for further development.
I've always thought that they were trying to set safi jiva up to be a new black dragon. Frankly speaking, just by virtue of being a siege monster, it's harder to take on solo than alatreon. Plus, the whole motif of absorbing and manipulating the life force of the world around itself fits in their ranks nicely, in my opinion.
Yup, but due to how poorly they handled MHW in general, they literally killed the game, and that possibility with it, when they had so much more to extract from it.
@@Tu-Li-Oh I don't think they killed the game. This was my 1st Monster Hunter, And I didn't get it until after iceborne was released, so I guess I don't have some of the hang-ups older fans do. I don't agree with every design decision, but it was and still is a phenomenal game imo.
@@tordix4467 I mean, launching Safi, the Endgame boss, with the most broken armor (which made all the others utter trash until Fatalis) at a very early stage in the game is stupid beyond reason. If they released the siege far ahead it's time (around Fatalis, before or even after him) it would have been so much better, and if they had the plan to made Safi into a black dragon, they could have done it perfectly, be it due to the lore in that, or to the time. And it would have made far more sense to have such a broken armor around endgame. That aside, about the design, I dunno why people hate Safi and his design so much, when in MH Lore, the most you look to a vanilla dragon, the more broken you are, which makes sense (see u Fat Alice.) Personally I hate those otherworldy designs, that is why I dislike Valstrax so much.
I like to get the Lore of Kulve Taroth she has so much mysteriousy in that Game and is one of the most beauty Monster in World i Would like to know more from.
Wait, there was a cocoon hanging in the background in Safi's third stage. Doesn't this imply that this is another specimen of the Jiiva family, rather than the same Xeno we slay at the end of World?
I really like this lore you gave us, Team Darkside. It shows how much it the dragon tried to cause that whole situation in the new world, not to mention the connection it has with Alatreon. I'm even curious where you got that layered armor. It looks amazing.
While being not officialy a black dragon, Safi is a big enough threat and are powerfull enough to fit in that category. While still inferior to the Fatalis in my opinion, he still have a similar destruction power to the Alatreon indeed !
I've found enough evidence within hunter notes as statements to put Safi above Fatalis. The Admiral's statement about the SotE would include Zorah. In a guide, it is stated that Zorah's shell cannot be harmed by normal weaponry. This means his durability is higher than Fatalis's. Xeno is also stated to wield incalculable power but cannot control it, while Safi can. So with the evidence we have, a fight with Safi and Fatalis would end the moment Safi drops his nuke. Even if Capcom declared him top of the food chain, he does not have any feats that say he could survive that attack. There is also no evidence that he could kill Safi before the nuke is dropped, which would be the only win condition for Fatalis.
@@doczoid- given the fight between ingame safi and Fatalis, Fatalis wins without question. Remember, Fatalis also is one of the oldest monster on record. It’s very existence makes even elder dragons flee, even without seeing it. It’s existence turns the skies black, and in whites’ case, tear a hole in the sky. Fatalis can melt iron with a powerful but wide flame, imagine if it was more concentrated. And remember, Alatreon burned the shed skin of Safi. Fatalis is an unholy powerful monster that is the ultimate goal for hunters. Hell, they even made a literal tale about it.
@@doczoid- There's literally no statement putting Safi above Fatalis, who's been the strongest monster consistently since Day One. The devs themselves said it. Just stop it. Fatalis survives and wipes out the greatest of hunters all the time, shrugs off some of the strongest weapons made by man specifically meant to kill it and obliterated a whole country in an evening. A single flamethrower would melt Safi and Zorah without much effort, while Sapphire of Emperor is gonna do minimal damage *AT BEST* against Fatalis. The melting point of rock is 1200°C at maximum. Fatalis' blue fire? 1400°C at the lowest estimate. Besides, all of Zorah's feats have been done before by Dire Miralis, who boils oceans and sinks entire islands by merely existing. And that dude was still beneath Fatalis. Plus, it may look lanky, but a dragon that can burrow through an entire castle, break free from a guillotine meant specifically to decapitate it and take two simultaneous Dragonator impalements directly to the face and *only get angrier* is a testament to its place at the very top. People have been looking for excuses to dethrone Fatalis since Shagaru Magala, Gogmazios, Nakarkos, Nergigante and now Safi, but no. Fatalis *STILL* remains the top of the food chain and the monster above all monsters for 15 years, since the very first game, no less. Let's not forget: This is *Normal* Fatalis. They only get stronger from here on out.
I will be forever salty that we had such a good setup for some sort of "ultimate jiiva" that just never came to fruition. A new black dragon, or maybe a new classification entirely. Think about how powerful a potential safi that absorbed the energy of an Alatreon would be. Fatalis was great and all, but its sad to think of what could have been
As I said in a previous comment, MHW was horribly developed, if they left Safi for the very very end, and actually gave a good ending to the game, Safi would be in the Black Dragon class, for sure. But oh well, shit happened. I still think he is one, and a good boi on top of that.
Pretty sure that Safi was the "Ultimate Jiva" you were asking for. He's the closest monster to a black dragon that isn't a black dragon in the series. And even if we were to say get another Jiva, he still wouldn't be on par with Big Fatty, since you know, he's literally been the power ceiling of the franchise since day one, it's extremely doubtful they'd change that over 15 years later. So we got the ultimate endgame boss with Fatty as an send off to iceborne. You can't get any bigger than him in the monster hunter franchise. So it's not like we lost out on some bigger climatic fight, if anything we'd of gotten a lesser one.
@@theworstcatholic7247 I don't think that a new Jiva would be stronger than Fatalis, but they could have a equal power, at least with the Black Fatalis. Because the way I see is that since the ultimate Jiiva atack is said to kill anything organic, it would be the only thing that can kill a Fatalis, it would destroy the whole body and Fatalis wouldn't be able to regenerate, but that's just what I think
Hey Chris excellent video! Just wanted to point out that the Admiral and the council confirms that there were two Xenos in the new world. The one in elder’s recess and the one in the guiding lands. The strange abundance and purity of bio energy that’s hinted at in the guiding lands is tied to Safi’s existence.
I, for one, would have loved to see Safi and Alatreon duke it out. Although, I don't think the New World would survive a fight between these two titans of power.
@@K3b1bisLtu Safi's size and power would certainly guarantee it victory... ...in a grappling match. However, the odds of them actually fighting in a grappling match are slim to none, because Alatreon is faster than Safi'jiiva, while not being *that* much weaker (fourth most powerful monster, only behind Dire Miralis, Safi'jiiva, and Fatalis, and also the by FAR fastest, most mobile of the Dangerous First-Class Monsters). Additionally, Alatreon has significantly better ranged options, which mostly focus on Area of Effect and multi-hit attacks. The type of attack that is most effective against bigger, slower opponents, such as Safi'jiiva, while Safi'jiiva has a straight-line laser and a big boom that is very exhausting for it to use. Speaking of that big boom, the Iceborne lorebook confirms that Sapphire of the Emperor is unsurvivable. But it also does the same for Erasing Flames and Full Power Escaton Judgement. And Sapphire of the Emperor is the only one of those three attacks that actually has a drawback (namely, being exhausting). And Safi'jiiva, not using elemental attacks, cannot weaken Escaton Judgement. In total, Safi'jiiva has the advantage in raw power, healing (which Dragon-based attacks forces it to use up faster), durability (which may not matter much, due to its lack of elemental resistance), and possibly intelligence. Alatreon has the advantage in speed, maneuverability, versatility, ranged options, stamina, and possibly intelligence. In total, this match will not be easy for whichever one wins. It isn't always the strongest who wins in a fight, after all.
@@elfmonster1476 id say stamina can be tossed to both of them depending in where they fight , if its the elders recess it goes to safi but if its a area with little bio energy like a dessert it goes to al
I only just realised that what I thought was just xeno twitching was it actually attempting to absorb energy and heal and that his enraged form is a primitive form of the adult creature's Supercritical state.
I honestly want to see even more mature forms of 'jiiva. I want it to in-lore be as threatening or even more so than Fatalis. 'jiiva's design and evolution are beyond amaizing and it would be such a shame to have its road end here.

It doesn't surprise me that Xeno survived and matured into a Safi. It's been shown multiple times that a monster previously thought slain, had survived and was just waiting for it's second wind. It's happened with Ruiner Nergigante and Shara Ishvalda, on top of a specific Teostra in HR. Xeno'Jiiva was "slain" but it was also completely surrounded by crystals which have been stated to contain super-pure life energy, which the Jiiva's consume in order to mature and heal injuries.
The first time you take down xeno the cutscene shows it falling into the abyss below. It's possible that with its power to absorb energy it wasn't quite dead; it fell down and regained strength, then went somewhere for recovery and growth. I think it's the same dragon, and it would almost certainly have to be; how could it escape even if relatively inactive and NOT set off some other ecological phenomenon? Afterall, Safi would be disruptive just with the insane amount of fast growth, and I would have to call it a very weird coincidence that more than one dragon could be born out of the life energy of dead elders without some sort of exterior catalyst to kick-start more of the same growth processes seen with the first dragon. I'd be curious to hear what you think about this.
8 months late but I have to disagree. The Elder Crossing happens every decade. It would be strange if this was the first time ever that a Xeno was born. It is far more likely that instead of growing at such horrifying speeds, it took many years to mature into Safi. This should be considered especially because most animals that shed, shed seasonally. It would make perfect sense that given its connection to the Elder Crossing, Safi sheds once every 10 years.
I understand that a lot of people think it is the same monster, but I believe it isn't the same creature due to the amount of skin there is, it makes me believe that it was there for a very long time just without showing itself
@@MeguminDStaff1007 I don't think there *IS* a source. All that's mentioned in-game is that *MAYBE* Alatreon has a connection with Safi but the characters themselves aren't remotely confident that's the case. Avalos Altair Miraos I’m willing to acknowledge Safi as Alatreon’s equal... mostly because Fatalis’s return should make it obvious that Alatreon is in no way Fatalis’s equal.
I like to imagine that this "bio-energy" is the antithesis of Dragon Element... As Dragon Element clearly "dark", this bio-energy is "light"... Though, in the end, it matters not what it is, the monsters are gonna hit us with it! (and probably as a laser-beam)
What most people leaving comments seem to miss about the visual differences is that Xeno has transparent skin while Safi has red scales/carapace. Not only that, but we don't know how many much shedding was done to get from A to B.
A couple brief things on Xeno. The releasing of attractive pheromones is also why the elder crossing became so frequent, now occuring every 10 years instead of 50. There's also an interesting theory that Zorah Magdaros knew of Xeno's manipulation of the elder crossing, and was trying to kill it by dying in the everstream. It's stated in-game that if Zorah died in the Everstream, the whole continent would explode with it's massive bio-energy, so some have speculated that Zorah is one of the occasional really intelligent Elder Dragons, and was trying to save the New World from Xeno's manipulation. That same theory would also shed a different light on Nergigante's actions during the story, since it would be more akin to protecting Zorah than trying to eat it
I always saw it as nergigante pushing Zorah into the Everstream. And after that failed, it went into the recess to find the rest of the elders and eat them before Xeno could, or potentially find Xeno itself and kill it.
Nice video. I was expecting you to talk a little bit more about Xeno actually being "The sapphire star" in the saying "May the sapphire star light your way" that is repeated throughout the game. "May the Sapphire Star light your way" is not just saying, the sapphire star was probably a very bright star present in the sky which maybe created some sort of religious belief. Once it hit the atmosphere and fell into the world, ppl most likely believed it was "guiding" them, thus leading the commission traveling to the new world. Nice video regardless! Good job!
My favorite part is this AWESOME new hammer I got from him; The weapons you can forge are still somewhat alive, and can be awakened, and by chipping parts of Safi'jiiva, you can empower these weapons with EVEN MORE power; boosts to sharpness, damage, crit chance, and even divinities can be applied to these weapons, but only by successfully finishing safi'jiiva's siege event.
My theory with how Safi managed to grow up, is that the fact we killed Xeno right in the Confluence of Fates means that the energy still present was able to seep into the corpse and give it new life, and instead of going out again, it hid like a wounded animal (surprise surprise) growing up into Safi in the Secluded Valley
Personally I think the Xenojiva you kill in base world isn’t the same as the Safijiva you fight in the siege. And that the amount of shed skin means the monster has been there for an incredibly long time. It may even have been the parent of the Xenojiva you fight.
Xeno’jiiva was and still is one of the coolest and most fun I have had hunting a monster and by far the coolest reveal. Safi’jiiva was a little underwhelming design wise still super cool but wish they added onto what Xeno was instead. But its final attack more than makes up for it best attack from a monster still imo.
This is my favorite episode so far. Not because the others weren’t great, but because I LOVE this monster. World has been my first MH game, and when I first saw Xeno’jiiva and learned its lore I fell in love. I loved its evolution through AT form, more intelligent and more conscious of its power, and then through the adult form Safi’jiiva. We have slayed it, a monster so powerful to be possibly considered a Dangerous First-Class Monster, and we’ll never see its elder form... will we? The thought we could see a World 2 or some kind of sequel in the future excites me, and that means to my eyes that we’ll most likely experience an elder Safi’jiiva, which has reached its final form and power level. Who knows what’s next?
one day i read a comment saying "The heartbeat in safi's theme, it's fairly fast, but way too fast and not loud enough to be safy's heart. It's yours. Because here, facing that unbelievable threat, for the first time in all your life.. you feel true fear." and i love this
I know this vid is 2 years old now, but i think it's worth mentioning safi's theme. It's the only monster theme (in the game at least) to use synthetic tones. It gives me the feeling that the 'jivas are monsters that try to live outside the natural order. They don't hunt or feed on anything, but simply steal the energy from the world around them. This is supported by the Xeno's very alien appearance, showing us that he's practically otherworldly.
Val Hazaak, and Blackveil could be a good topic. Also, if you planning to do monsters outside of World/Iceborne, either Valstrax, or Gore/Chaotic/Shagaru Magala would be cool to see in the series
I think we didn’t really kill xeno, but we knocked all of the energy in its body, which sent it in a semi dead state. But still partially alive, and was able to absorb energy after we left, and healed. It then grew rapidly due to access energy speeding the process up
The thing that I liked most about Safi, is that he is in a way the stark opposite of Fatalis. Fatalis's sole existence lures every monster OUT; Safi lures them IN. Heck, even Fatalis's very design is the archetype of Western Dragons, while Safi's can be interpreted as the "modern interpretation" of it. The most important part, however, is that the Guiding Lands was basically Safi altering the flow of Bioenergy to literally SHAPE THE WORLD AROUND IT to its likings - as mentioned during the briefings pre&post Safi Siege. That's why the regions that are otherwise borderline incompatible with one another like Hinterlands to Recess could coexist within 100 meters. Small it may be, but Safi basically *CREATED* the world; Fatalis *DESTROYS* the worlds. It's a really interesting cycle if you ask me. _They represent _*_Life/Birth and Death_*_ respectively._
interresting that you mention that cause since the new lore book of into iceborne it is said that safi could become a rival to fatalis himself which is interressting but right now he isnt
@@dragullongblackfang8073 Not to mention there was an official statement of Safi's scales "blackening as they mature." People say Safi is already an adult Xeno as stated in IB's mission briefings, but I like to believe based on that official evidence that Safi we killed was more of a "young adult" than a full fledged adult - like humans' early 20s where despite their physical maturity they have yet to reach full adulthood. Normally I am never fond of, if not against, putting any monster on par with Fatalis, but I cannot help but believe Safi is one heck of a missed potential to become a new Black Dragon. -(Honestly I am getting sick of Fatty/Alatreon being the only BD at this point. They really could make use of a completely new BD)-

What's always funny about Monster Hunter is its monster scaling with lore, Xeno'Jiva/Safi'Jiva the emperor of elder dragons, yet it's not even close to the strongest or hardest fight in its own game. Literally, an angry monke is harder than him by a landslide.
Fun fact: the name of Xeno Jiiva in Kanji/Chinese character is 冥灯龍, basically means “dragon of the guiding light of the underworld”, where 冥 means the the world of dead (giving a sense of lifelessness, cold and blue, implying that it grows upon the energy of dead elder dragons, and also being the reason why the Xeno version of Lunastra weapon has ‘Styx’, the river that separates the plane of the dead from the living world in Greek mythology, as the suffix in their names), 灯 means lamp (and most often in language it possess the meaning of light of guiding), and 龍 simply means dragon. This naming is a simple yet strong demonstration of the identity and importance of this dragon, as well as a good fit for the general theme of MHW base game (the whole stuff about the guiding sapphire star). It’s adult versions, Safi Jiiva, has the Chinese name 冥赤龍 and Japanese name 赤龍, where 赤 means red, so simply ‘the red dragon’ and that’s all. P.S. I know in simplified Chinese both 龍 and 竜 (Dragon and Wyvern respectively in MH settings) are replaced by 龙 but I didn’t put it there just for simplicity lol
Xeno'Jiiva was such a fun fight, but his tail is just high enough off the ground that you can't hit it easily with a charged greatsword. Still a great finale boss!
Given that since Safi is considered just the adolescent form of the Jiva line, part of me would like to see the "true adult" form in a future game, something to truly surpass the nightmare that is Fatalis.
The lore book Dive Into MH World Iceborne stated Safi IS the adult versione, and is the rival/equivalent to Fatalis/The Black Dragon However it is also implied that even if Safi is fully grown he cane get even more powerful, just like Fatalis can become White Fatalis Also Alatreon was in the Secluded Valley trying to destroy the Xeno Coccoona before it was too late
I just realized how fitting Xeno Jiiva was as the final boss of the base game. As well as his alien appearance making him a threat to the ecosystem, Xeno is extremely powerful but is uses it wildly as he has no experience in using it. In contrast, the hunter you play as isn't as powerful as most monsters, but is very skilled in their craft.
I heard a cool theory that safi/xeno is an extraterrestrial that spent billions of years incubating in a meteor, which, after crashing onto the earth, became the elders recess. Another part was that xeno turning into safi is xeno adapting itself to its new environment by copying the traits and moves of other monsters. Which is probably why it looks so different as safi.

SO yeah.
And typically, the strongest monsters are dragons.
*opens hunter's notes* Yup, monster name checks out!

Jekyll aren: here you go Donk your nergigante nuggets has arrived on your table
I prefer Xeno over Safi.
But lets be fair, its design its very dull compared to what Monster Hunter has to offer
1. It’s transformation is symbolic of a “Fallen Angel”
2. The Alien design evolving into an Iconic Red Dragon design, demonstrates that it has adapted to our world.
3. Safi’Jiiva is intended to be an Anti-Fatalis, so it makes sense that it has an equally simple design as well.

Btw it's kind of a shame that we didn't see a third Jiiva, a fully realized Black Dragon. I don't know why but Safi still feels "incomplete" to me
It feels incomplete because they were clearly hinting at something more to come with Safi. But hey, can't predict a pandemic.

Next lore: About the hunter who slayed 1000 Xeno'jiiva & 1000 Safi'jiiva.

Wait, there was a cocoon hanging in the background in Safi's third stage. Doesn't this imply that this is another specimen of the Jiiva family, rather than the same Xeno we slay at the end of World?
I think its as a caterpillar entering its cocoon to transform into its next stage of life
I really like this lore you gave us, Team Darkside. It shows how much it the dragon tried to cause that whole situation in the new world, not to mention the connection it has with Alatreon.
I'm even curious where you got that layered armor. It looks amazing.
Was honestly expecting Rathalos, seeing as your description in the previous video mentioned a "Red Dragon", but VERY happy you covered Safi'Jiiva.
And for all we know still has room to grow in power. There were clear plans to explore more of the Secluded Valley but then Covid happened.

Oh lord, not this again...

To me Chris has the best voice in TDS
I, for one, would have loved to see Safi and Alatreon duke it out. Although, I don't think the New World would survive a fight between these two titans of power.
Everyone says alatreon would win but I personally don't think so
Alatreon would loose horrifically. Both using logic and in lore. Safi is much bigger and is equal to fatalis in power.

8 months late but
I have to disagree.

"We did it patrick! We save the City!" *whole new world exploded*

Dire miralis, the third black dragon of monster hunter!

Can we see a ceadaus or valstrax episode
Val Hazaak, and Blackveil could be a good topic. Also, if you planning to do monsters outside of World/Iceborne, either Valstrax, or Gore/Chaotic/Shagaru Magala would be cool to see in the series
This is one of the neatest videos I've ever seen and im gay
Jokes on you: I'm gay squared.
I think we didn’t really kill xeno, but we knocked all of the energy in its body, which sent it in a semi dead state. But still partially alive, and was able to absorb energy after we left, and healed. It then grew rapidly due to access energy speeding the process up
Can you make shara ishvalda next?(sorry if i misspell it)
The thing that I liked most about Safi, is that he is in a way the stark opposite of Fatalis.
They really could make use of a completely new BD)-
@@locomotivo4644 Safi is considered to rival fatalis which actually makes kinda sense cause naming did you realised that fatalis = the black safi = the red dragon weirdly enough i am 99percent sure they are taking it could rival base fatalis which is a feat not alot monster but funny enough every sems to skip the "could" which means if we lead saffi do his bussiness he could rival but because we didnt well we have one apolaptic dragon less to deal with
I had no ps+ when i beat this and got very lucky and beat him on my own
because of you, I know like xeno-safi!
Very beautiful shots, very. That gave me finally a proper look at how beautiful xeno-safi is and how well both are connected to their environment
Realising xenojiiva is a big, beautiful godzilla reference gas made my day
What's always funny about Monster Hunter is its monster scaling with lore, Xeno'Jiva/Safi'Jiva the emperor of elder dragons, yet it's not even close to the strongest or hardest fight in its own game.
Literally, an angry monke is harder than him by a landslide.
When ever TEAM DARKSIDE enters an area, the large monsters hears the “Proof of a Hero” theme....
*Fun Fact:* Guiding Light of the Underworld (or a similar name, I dunno) is the official track name of Xeno's first phase theme.
Avalos Altair Miraos perfect match XD thanks for pointing that out
Great video as always, really love this Monster Hunter Lore series. Can't wait for Vaal Hazak's Lore
ah, so good!!! Please make a ZORAH MAGDAROS video, from his first appearance in world until dying and becoming the guiding lands.
The lore book Dive Into MH World Iceborne stated Safi IS the adult versione, and is the rival/equivalent to Fatalis/The Black Dragon
However it is also implied that even if Safi is fully grown he cane get even more powerful, just like Fatalis can become White Fatalis
Also Alatreon was in the Secluded Valley trying to destroy the Xeno Coccoona before it was too late
Settings of the stage and monster itself for me was the best first impresion of monster ever!
"This monster puts up a demanding and ferocious fight"
I think Tobi gave me more trouble lol
Wow this is the first time i am seeing safi ultimate properly 😂 damn whooe blast wws caused by dropping something shiny? Woaa
And y'all have to remember this is still an Adolescent, meaning it is still a teenage Xeno'jiva.
Imagine what an ADULT Safi can do.
Love this type of series of MH Lore
We can see multiple cocoons so maybe a bunch of xeno we're born and fought each other
W
That doesn't make sence but ok
I know Rise it's out already, but a Shara Ishvalda video would be so nice!
Judging by all the open pods in Safi'jiivas nest I don't think that one dead is the end of it haha
almost like dark eater midir!
sadly safi is escape and never return again i really hope someday we fight him again
This is how Xenojiva revived itself it died and than it was tossed into the Lazarus Pit
