I'll never not look back fondly on when I started farming for Rivendare's Deathcharger and my fellow mount-collecting guildmates told me "yeah, have fun with that one." "see you in a few months" and then I got it on my 7th kill. The friendly hatred in guild chat when that achievement popped up probably less than an hour after starting farming was amazing.

Had about the same thing for my DK years ago....think I got him on the 10th run? I quit during wotlk and came back just to goof around on the lower expansions when Legion was ending and what really cheesed one of my RL friends off was when I got Mimiron's head on my 5th time soloing him.
I went in there to try and farm the robe he drops only a few weeks back. On just about the 5th or 7th kill as well the mount dropped.
I still don't have the robe. But honestly I don't think there's any doubt I walked away with the better reward haha

THE HINGES ARE HARBOR FREIGHT MAGNET CONTAINERS! That was the last thing I would think anyone would notice haha. I made a few hinges but those worked out the best to be removable so ya know. One man's trash!

@kimoti saliba sorry, no. It was a one off gift piece and I didn't think keep any patterns for it. Hardly had patterns anyway as I was really just cutting foam in the shape I thought would work best and adjusted from there

You guys never cease to amaze. You guys should check out Non-metallic-metal and True-metallic-metal paint practices that miniature painters use. I would love to see techniques like that done full size, I think it would be visually striking on a prop.
I feel you about the mount drop... 1 year grinding that dungeon everyday, for 3-5 hours a day... still bitter about it lol, you guys are awesome
This prop isn't my personal style and aesthetic but it turned out awesome. Well done
I was 1 of 2 known people on my server to get the mount on first attempt. The funny thing was that I wasn't even trying! I was boosting someone through it when I accidentally triggered the Grotesque fight while the other person was looting outside, so when the mount dropped they were ineligible for the loot. I got a LOT of hate from people as I rode by them on my shiny mount lol. In contrast a fellow guildee farmed Strath 524 times before it dropped

I'm amazed at the quality of that model and the great job you guys did on finishing it! Lots of talent all around.
Couple of thoughts:
Does hot glue with cat hair in it qualify as a composite?

I was in a guild during WotLK. Our GM wanted this mount so bad. He tried for it over hundreds of times and, as far as I remember, he never got it. I got bored over the course of a few days and tried for it and got it on my third try. I felt so guilty, I could never tell him.
This is so cool. I'm subscribed but mostly just watch Ghostbusters content. Can't wait to see this.

I'm sure you guys have hundreds of ideas for projects/videos, but would you consider doing the elfin mindsword from the cult classic movie Hawk the Slayer? It's one of my all time favourite movies (despite, or indeed because of, its low-budget charm) and the sword itself is really awesome.

The tools I had when making the kit didn't allow me total accuracy, plus I did want a little gappage as the game isn't the most high quality realism. The skull was a more realistic take on it so I figured the spine should be too with a little bit of gaps and cracks like it was taken out into battle
@@caitlingonzalez8633 i will say the gaps and stuff do add alot of character, so i think it was a good choice! i was just curious if the parts were maybe fitted on wrong because i didnt know if the model was going for game accuracy or if it was its own spin on it! either way its was a really nice job! i dont play wow but i would easily put one of them on my wall

If you glue the plate to the flansh, how will you screw the flansh to the wall then, without the screw holes being accessible anymore?
I made a metal hangar attachment on the back for one screw attachment higher up on the plaque. I didn’t use the flange as a wall attachment.

The teeth would be more white as they are not bone so definitely not the same colour but calcium which is whiter but that’s splitting hairs great work…..

Did you ever figure out what those clear half orbs are?
They're simply glass domes, half dome, half globe, any combo of that search. They come in a few sizes and are easily breakable with even a small fall so I wouldn't recommend for prop use. I included them in the kit because I knew this would be a home decor item not likely to be thrown around
