Garrett try this Trevino tip, it works wonders for me when I'm putting an inconsistent ball flight out there and not striking the center of the club face consistently. During your range session work on keeping your trailing foot planted during impact. You'll develop more consistent power and speed through the ball as well as see a tighter ball dispersion pattern. I've found the drill works best on mid to long irons especially. I tried to find the link for you but I didn't see it out there. Peace.
That was hypnotic. Looks to me like you pull it when you're not patient enough at the top and outrace your hands. When you're patient you hit smooth bombs on target. The last bit with the camera on the ground was awesome 😎

I tend to have the same problem with long irons, it seems like i subconsciously move closer to the ball when those clubs are in my hands. I try to create just a little more distance between me and the ball . at least for me this works, sliding my hands into that ideal window seems to be easier. Weather or not its the right move.. who knows lol

Man, you have a great swing now you are coming more inside/ out! You should get a launch monitor for range sessions. Mevo, Rapasido or ES B1 are great for additional information.
I would do a preshot routine similar to Justin Rose where he drops the club way behind in the preswing routine. Your swing is looking solid.

I suggest you try "same length" irons, one of Bryson DeChambeau's things. I have found my swings have gotten much more consistent with essentially the same setup for all iron shots.
I agree, I think Garrett might be a good candidate for same length clubs. Too bad he just got(waiting for) new clubs. Same length clubs may give him the consistency he’s looking for. He certainly has game!

5:45 in these two shots you had a major change in the transition at the top of your swing. It’s why you are pulling it

For such a good golfer, Garrett has a surprising number of faults in his swing. Too close to the ball, poor hip turn on the ds, right elbow drives too far forward, left arm "chicken wing". He has super rhythm but needs a lot of practice to maintain consistency or major changes to improve. He needs a good coach.

@@JMoney615 not if you start early, pre-teens, just comes naturally, though faults creep in. I started at 17, too late, just learnt how to play properly last year at 70! It has been hard. Can't play now because of ill health.
@@oldprogolf7292 I was 5 when I started and I’m pretty sure Garrett was really young too. Even with experience the game is really hard... you can’t make the same swing twice in a row, it’s almost impossible
Rewatch the video and see where the club comes over top of your shoulder if its left or Right of your shoulder, You'll Learn a lot about your swing whether your closing the face when coming from the outside or if your coming from the inside and closing to soon. Or Coming for the outside and leaving alittle open.

You’re so committed and I love it but you probably won’t see this nor take this but I heard you were trying to get that swing plain down because you’re coming over the top and I would take a towel and stick it under my right arm pit and try and keep it in and tucked in the back swing. It keeps the swing plain lower. Hope this helps! Love the content!

i got fit late November/early December and got JPX forged, 90S(so nothing too special) and just got them a week ago, took around 6 weeks.

Hey you can be bad at reading greens and still make it if you have a caddie who can read them well.
If you start any tour, bring on Stephen or Bubbie as your caddie. They would be good for you just for hype and energy reasons for Bubbie and Stephen just cause he is actually a pretty good putter and might be able to give you confidence in your stroke.
