So what your saying is a Dark horse is no longer 75 K that now you can buy them for 40K and slap a Whipple super charger on them for 50K. If that is the case Ford cares about their customers and giving them an 810 Horsepower car for 50K sign me up fuck paying 72K for a Hellcat
Technically you could make more power with a super charged dark horse 😅
U DNT NEED 2 GET A DARKHORSE, U CAN GET A BASE GT 5.0 OR GT PREMIUM 5.0 N ADD WHIPPLE KIT 2 GET 800+HP . BASE 5.0 =2 SEPERATE DASH SCREENS, PREMIUM =1 SOLID DASH SCREEN PLUS OTHA OPTIONS...STELLANTIS =👹👹👎🏽👎🏽
Keep in mind Mustangs are not practical cars
No, the Mustang GT with the supercharger will be 810hp for 50k. That’s a base GT without all the additional options. The price of the Dark Horse will still be the same. If the GT have 810hp with the supercharger, the dark horse will have more.
They don't cost this little its 65k to 70k and you only get 750 crank 620 wheel

Lebanon Ford has been doing this for years. A couple of years back they had a boosted 5.0 F150 for less than 40k. Also most dealers will add a supercharger to you car and give it a warranty.

I think mustang owners ruined that 😂😭
Potential buyers of the 810hp LFP Mustang please take note:
I just called Lebanon Ford Performance about the 810hp Mustang warranties
1. The supercharger is a Whipple/Ford Performance product but is warrantied by Whipple not Ford.
If the supercharger fails, Whipple warranty covers that situation
If the engine fails due to the supercharger, Whipple warranty covers that situation.
2. If the engine fails due to defective engine part etc. and not caused by the Whipple supercharger, the Ford powertrain warranty covers the blown engine if the Ford dealer determines this after examination.
I would still be careful and read all the fine print about the Whipple and Ford warranty.
Because the buyer could get caught in the middle of Whipple vs Ford if something goes wrong and would be waiting for months to get their Mustang repaired under warranty. Just saying.
Knockout, one HUGE thing to keep in mind. You are getting boosted to 810HP on a car that only weighs 3900 lbs. to start! 🤯
I think there’s no valid reason why a Mustang should be that heavy. It’s not like it’s a big car and it’s approaching Challenger Scat weight.
@@reallee9385 not really. The Hemi 392 weights 582 and the Coyote 5.0 445 so still doesn’t justify the weight.

They sell a similar package with F150s too… look up the ford F150 FP-700 package. Radical.
Ford started that option in 2023 on the F150 5.0 trucks. You can order it starting at about the $47000-$49995 on the base 2wd truck but could get it on 4wd, reg, super and kingcab trucks. Just think of Ford decides to put 5.0's in the bronco with that option. I think they would sell a hell of alot more broncos. Especially since the Raptor is like 70-80k. They could actually justify the 80k price if they had a 5.0 raptor bronco.
My Gt premium with several options was $60k without a spoiler or performance package and that’s not the max . They can get pretty expensive if you get every single option

No. On the street there are diminishing returns with brakes, tires and chassis. It's not 1970 anymore. These new mustangs almost all come with 16 inch 6 piston brakes. Sway bars front and rear. Progressive rate springs. 275 or wider summer tires etc. they are hard to improve from the factory. Chassis on new cars have gotten really good. The stock brakes on a Mitsubishi mirage are probably better than the highest optioned muscle cars of the 60's
Not to mention these cars have electric abs pumps than can modulate the brakes at all 4 corners of the car independently to maintain stability and traction. These cars are about as good as they can get and still be driven In the rain safely

I’m deep in the Mustang game, this whipple kit is being pushed by dealers as this badass kit but they don’t tell you that you have to add octane booster, manipulate the dyno, or risk the motor blowing on E mix in order to make anything over ~650whp. Theres no tuning besides Whipples soft OEM calibration, and possibly ProCharger here soon and they cannot account for E in the tank or higher octane than 93. Buy a 15-23, put the same whipple kit on it, tune it with LUND RACING, and you will be much faster than any S650.
We have an Alex viewer. 😂
Even if any of that speculation is true, you'd still gap hellcats with the stage 1 FP kit no boostane or E. Look at Murphys Law Garage and his last video. He says the boostane barely did anything. E30 is well within the fuel systems capacity so I dont know where you got blowing the motor from.
@@Lifeof728 yes, I am an Alex supporter. No Coyote makes more than ~650whp on pump gas and is safe, 12:1 compression and 93 octane don’t belong together when you start talking big boost. If you’re having to sit at a gas station and do science class shit to mix e30 so the fuel system isn’t stressed, lie about octane booster, or gut the car to get it to run the same number Gen 1-3 did with full weight and tuning support you’re coping with the fact the car isn’t as good as it should be.
When tuning is available, I’ll see if my mind changes but for now this kit is just not what people think it is.
Edit: when you boost a motor and try to run ethanol you stress the fuel system and need to run a fuel return system, one shop has supposedly blown the cats already which is flirting with a wildfire.

VMP performance in Florida has partnered wit Whipple for 2024 Mustang GT base n up.They put tha same blower as Ford performance from factory ,but with injectors n bigger throttle body. N u can buy aftermarket body upgrades ...IN California thru Ford performance that Whipple kit is not sold, not carb cert yet.... I ben looking at dealorship 4 a Mustang GT 5.0 premium wit Whipple kit , but not yet available 4 California....I will have 2 go 2 VMP performance in Florida or wait 4 carb cert in California. FORD IS BAK STRONG SINCE THIS KIT RELEASED 5 MONTHS AGO... STELLANTIS =👹👹👹
Im a ford and Dodge guy but mainly ford. Dont hype this car up. Tuning isnt even available for the 2024 mustangs yet. Also this car still has factory cats. For now just stick to the older gen coyotes until tuning becomes available.
I said the same thing and I would think with that much increase you would have to do some suspension and crank work as well, right
@@craigjohnson8124 Bottom end on the Coyote motor can handle the power as-is.
I had the choice between buying Camaro SS, Charger, vett or Mustang. I got the Mach1. Ford has a better deal. Not only did I get a fast car I got to drive a Mach1 at Charlotte Speedway for the day which cost me nothing. Chevy and Dodge don't offer this. Now if u get a Mustang any model your offered the same thing from Ford Performance School
I have a optioned out 2024 Mustang GT premium 10-speed out the door pricing. I had to pay $74,170.00. I am currently on the waiting list for my supercharger. Already have the 2-inch headers and 3 inch Cat-Back exhaust coming with test tube catalytic converter deletion kit
🤯🤯🤯 good stuff man 💪🏾💪🏾
Well speaking from direct recent experience, once u start climbing the HP ladder its about $10,000 per 150hp added. You want a procharger...$10,000 etc...
Yea. Thatguyinblue already put a video on s650 wipple supercharged . Pushing 700whp
The Coyote motor is very strong and doesn't need the bottom end upgraded to handle the extra power (without blowing up).
Can't get a sunroof on Mustang but you can get a convertible.
they keeping the manuals alive!
You are kidding yourself if you think a dealer added supercharger is going to perform like a factory 800HP setup.
Ford 💪
495 hundred hp threw me for a loop😂
