They have no choice but to drop the prices. If they don't drop the prices, then the dealerships would go bankrupt.
It’s a bad time to be a hellcat owner. After all these discounts, our cars will be worth next to nothing
Private sale is diff than dealer
@@blakedaigle5590 these cars being sold for large discounts will have its impact on the overall market which is inclusive of private sales.
It was worth that the minute u drove it off the lot , who in there right mind would buy a used mopar
I literally sold my hellcat a week ago and bought a BMW
@@iamsamfortunebrg8772 what kind?
Discounts??? You gotta be messing with us …. the prices are laughable and banks ain’t putting up with it anymore either.
Yea they are it’s all a game lol money been lost its value they want you to get these loans it ain’t exactly what it seems
The discount they giving people are what they cost 4 or 5 years ago lol
Hopefully it drops lower🙏🏽
It ought to keep dropping not spending around 80K for a hellcat😂😂
@Glamzammsounds like a shell game.
@Glamzamm which is why some inventory has been sitting on lots for 300+ days. And will continue to sit there until the come down. These are mass produced and nothing is rare about them. That 10 -15% drop is nothing when dealers had already marked up prices 20% or more while pocketing the “incentives” that dodge had allowed. I’m speaking as a Mopar owner.
@Glamzamm of course you would say this, this affects your pocket. You need to hope prices come down, layoff will come.
It's too late for dodge. Banks have stopped lending! They should of stuck to a reasonable prices, instead of taking advantage of the customers for the last few years!!
What are reasonable prices honest question ?like what msrp we lookin at?
Personally I dont think a cat is worth a cent over 60k. Base

Banks is lending 😂it’s boomin I got a phat loan offer on Saturday lol😂
It's not worth buying anything dodge or ram because of the workmanship on the vehicles because of the trouble that they are in and the stupid pricing
I was around during the first muscle car era in the 60s and early 70s. In the mid 70s and the 80s you could not give those cars away. 50 years later they were sold at auction for $100,000. You just never know how the market is going to roll.
I bought my redeye for $77k marl with only 10k miles on it, 1 owner It only made sense
I wouldn’t care whether they’ll be worth more or less in the next few years now that I have my hands on a redeye I don’t plan on ever selling it I love this car
Remember the value of it only matters if you’re willing to sell it
Anybody buying these last call 2023 Dodge cars and trucks, better make sure that you get a good extended warranty ,knowing that these 2023 cars and trucks are having major quality issues !! And you better pray that Stellantis european company Stands by the warranty at that !!! 😳😳😳
I wish Stellantis would sell Dodge Jeep Chrysler Ram
All of the dealerships got greedy and took advantage of customers for the last few yrs. Every manufacturer sets a msrp, and every dealer marked cars up by 20,30,40, and sometimes 50g's. These cars are not worth what they got accustomed to getting for them, and they're going to suffer for it. A car note is not supposed to cost what rent use to cost. Let all these dealers suffer and eventually the manufacturers will step in and we will be purchasing cars directly from the manufacturers and the dealerships will have no choice but to go back to what they originally did. Make money from services. You want change... affect their money.
I’m waiting for the 50% off MSRP sale before even considering buying.
For the quality for these things I wouldn’t pay 35,000
The bank or credit union will say this a used car they still go give out interest rate 11 to 18%
Been watching like a Hawk. Hard be n this damn patient!
I know but just wait trust I'm waiting on that trackhawk
alot of dealers in FL are selling new 23s for 20,000 off msrp. Believe starting in june they wont be considered new and dealers will have to pay more for lot fees
For the people waiting to catch a good discount yes continue to hold off it will be well worth it.😊😊😊😊
I live in Florida. Scats selling for $42,000 at the dealership.
Stellantis is in trouble period. They aren't paying their parts suppliers & the new Hornets are bombing. Their popular Charger/Challenger line is gone & you Mopar guys have to look forward to ???
Knock been saying it for awhile that why this is where I get my mopar updates
The local dealership has 2 R/T only incentive is the 3700 power dollars from Dodge . 1 R/T Challenger power dollars only incentive. A couple of GTs total of 6 left overs. No real deals yet my local dealership. I've looked online others are matching the Power Dollar discount. But the down payment and monthly payments are ludicrous. Don't don't think small dealerships can afford to double discount. The local dealership sat one left over 22 Eco Diesel Gladiator before dropping the price then packing the poor buyer with a "Mandatory " service contract to make there money back. Same with a left over 22 Durango 392 . Discounted the price then packed the customer with a service contract.
Dealership are lying. That said 3500 of for memorial day sale..the chargers are still the same price as of 2 months ago..there's no sale..they lying
They just moved discounts around and added fees.
I drive semis for a living and I’ve seen so many scats and even tracks out there sitting. Seen a couple 150’s sitting. All the rotors rusted 😂😂 it used to be rare to see these cars at dealerships but they legit got at least 5 of em sitting! There’s a track by me for 98 a 2024 crazy
Am in new york I have maybe 2 scats n 5 hornets so far this year
They stopped making trackhawks in 2021……
I replaced my rear diff, cv axles, driveshaft, brakes, upper, lower, fwd control arms, inner tie rods, fuel injectors, oil cooler, coolant tank, pcv valve, exhaust myself on my 2015 challenger6 while the prices were high just to stay away from buying a new one. Driving in Atlanta is stupid.
Wells Fargo won't even finance a new dodge because they are now considered a used vehicle because they are sitting at the lots for so long and dealerships are greedy as hell
Bro i called wells fargo coup months back to see bout preapprove for 23 scat mfers told me they dont auto finance wtf lol

I just looked now in my local area and new R/Ts are going for $50k, Scat Pack narrow bodies going for $60k. The message isn’t getting to our dealers.
Depends on where you live. Her in my area in socal most dealers dont even have a new hellcat in stock. Big discounts on sxt and gt models but you not finding hellcats at huge discounts.
$15k off MSRP here in Florida...picked up my new 23 Chally HC WB JB yesterday. Prices are definitely dropping...dealers can't afford the flooring costs to hold the inventory. They will definitely try to recoup through addons though.
You can get the scatpacks for about $45k down here in south Florida.
Dealers are taking 14k off msrp.
And they'll continue to discount them because they are NOT selling at all.
Why don't Dodge have a 2015 throwback sale price for one day on Memorial Day get half of the cars off the lot figure it out from there
got my 2023 with 700 miles yesterday. Wide body 392 Scat pack , 54k... Think i got a good deal?
My birthday is in October so I might wait until the end of the year to see how low the prices will actually get and trade in my Genesis Coupe. I live in Arizona and right now the Charger RT is discounted as much as 12k off MSRP. Might be considering a Scat Pack but right now they’re only 5k off MSRP which is nothing.
Base Scats have dropped 6 grand in my area. That's still 5 grand more than they were in 21
I've seen 2023 5.7 Challengers on new dealership lots on Autotrader for 26k. I'm seeing Scats locally under 48k.

Really depend what market you live in because most of the DMV market is still moving scats and Cats. I don’t see as many mark ups anymore though which is probably why there moving now.
First I didn't buy to keep as a collector vehicle....I bought for what it does and can do.....bought my 19 challenger hellcat redeye narrow body used in 2021 for 68k out the door...1 owner by a doctor and all original and had all stickers on it with 11k miles...he traded in for a hellcat durango because wife pregnant with twins....and this vehicle was my dream car....traded in a 2015 srt for a 18 challenger ta 392...paid off....then traded it in on the 19 redeye which I put 40k down on for lower payments...so definitely not getting rid of.
I work for a large CDJR. We have 0 hellcat or 392 cars. we have a total of 19 dealerships. no 22 or 23.
Been locked in with your content since about December I love it!
Everybody has been saying this for a long time! Prices within 200 miles of Indianapolis are holding steady and only a $3,000 rebate on scats
Dealer near me has a Redeye for $86K, but it's been sitting there for at least 6 months. With tax, it will be $92K at least. It will be worth $66K as you drive off the lot. The market sees them as used cars with low miles.
car interest rates high ..Unless you have cash to buy ..I will keep my RT....
There's a nice white widebody scat at my dealership. It went from 68k to 56k... Still sitting there and I'm waiting for it to drop some more.
I wonder if the Jeep Gladiator will be affected by the price reduction? I am looking forward to buying one as a daily driver.
Good let them continue dropping where patiently waiting 😎
Still way too high, half price isn't low enough

@NoDripp2 it's not the fact people can't afford them, people are not spending that type of money for a 23. And just because you can afford 3 hellcats doesn't make you better than anyone else.
My local dealer has 2 (new) 2022 392 Durango and still wanting 82k for them
We’re asking 96k for our 2 where I am
Yea right dude wait on that price drop
Cars in general almost cost as much as a house these days. People who make even 6 figures are feeling the pressure of this messed up economy. And save as much as they can to get to the next month.
Your internet research just showed literally no price drop on chargers and challengers. As a matter of fact Dodge dealers here in Florida have raised prices since Stellantis has removed the manufacturer incentives.
My dealership here in Richmond Virginia has 2 locations and now they have done away with their body shop at 1 location and it my understanding they are doing away with it at both locations. Dodge Dealership are going to be hurting.
If you have cash and don’t have to finance anything , then yes it’s a great time to buy. Otherwise the drop in price is offset by the high interest rates .. so yes you can buy a hellcat for 8-10k off sticker but your financing at much higher rates .
I’m waiting till the end of the year to trade in my rt for a scat. 18k off msrp rn in Miami but I’m gonna keep waiting patiently for prices to drop more. 😊
Every time you trade, you lose. Keep your RT.
Dark times are coming. People will start losing their jobs.
We are approaching times where Cash Money will really talk and you better have some saved then.
Not in South Florida, but doesn't matter they need to drop at least 20 grand. Then you still need to deal with high interest. It's a hard pass
I’m being patient I’m getting a scat or rt fasure this year credit getting better at 740
Waiting to see if 392 Durangos drop in the 60k range.
No one wants that “junk ass shit” anymore
Lmao that’s the price of a GT500 or ZL1
I’m wait for them to man! Soon as I see a good drop on them I’m snatching one up
It's all games with stealerships! EVERY 392 CHALLENGER at my local dealer has 500 plus miles on them! Trying to sell demo/loaner cars as new cars! Still nothing more from Stellantis than $2000 on scats! BTW did anyone notice that scat widebody 392 had a $3800 price increase on MSRP near the end of production! There goes the 2k rebate!
I bought a demo charger.... Had almost 4k miles on it... Will never do that again with ANY brand.
So will r/t go down or na?
Being from Philly and living now about 40 minutes away, it's not worth the headache. Dodge never addressed the theft issue with these cars. I've owned a Challenger and I'm on my second Grand Cherokee (which I own) they're great cars but it's a risk just owning one.
You need to update your information. The current number of days on the lot is well over 100. Just FYI, there are still a lot of 2022's on lots.
Bro! I keep saying that it’s so many trucks in these yards at the plants here in Michigan. It’s so many cars it’s almost nowhere to park them. Definitely no cap. We got trucks that needs repair then it’s just some sitting that they can’t send anywhere because of the over abundance of inventory. I hope the price of the cats do go down.
mans said SHARTED lol 😅
I’m hoping they drop the price of rts
YUP! I agree. I am negotiating with a dealer out of State on a Destroyer Grey Widebody. Scat Pack. They are asking $58K. Have them currently down to $51K. I am still bargaining them. Its a 2023. Car has been sitting on the lot for 230 days. Plus my insurance company states its a "used Car". The dealership is arguing that its "new". BS by the dealer.
Fully loaded wb? Then yes $51 OUT the door though
yall think I can get my hands on one the widebodys by september, october
I have been dying to buy a 2023 wide body dodge charger dealers are still trying to stay firm on these models, not going under MSRP!! I have called all over the country. So even thou they have inventory dealers are not willing to take offers.
what about chrysler 300S V8s?
theres a hellcat widebody challenger goin 4 95k it has a 16k discount its at 79k
You got the mood lighting on, huh?
392 should be 40k tops. Too many good options out there in that range
My local Ford dealership ordered too many 2023 full sized broncos, and they were heavily discounted. If Ford can do it, Dodge can do it. I got $5,000 off my bronco
They would have to drop to dirt cheap because its all old tech, and the craftsmanship stinks. Why get an old cat when you can get SC stang. And the way dodge is going they might not be around for warranty support. Why buy anything from them?
9k is nothing, I got 11k off sticker in March of 2018 on my Ram. I want to see 18k or more or off these prices

People aren’t trying to buy a car that will make them a target, and no one is trying to pay the insurance that accompanies ownership of these cars. Period…
I was in the market for a “new” 2023 Scat and then a Hellcat but they all had Lot Rot. Pealing paint ,paint so rough you could literally a match off it & flat spotted tires. In South Florida they mark the price down a little then try to hit you with $3000 in fees and mark up all the filing, license, electric filing, etc. when done $5000 in mark ups on a rotted car. Bought a 2022 Hellcat Redeye widebody with under 5000 miles with tint& ceramic for under the price of a new 2023 Hellcat. Screw them crooks and they could have sold me a car but greed is everywhere.

Those cars ars for rich people or people who have no bills that live with their parents any reasonable average tax paying bills having citizen don't have that kind of money for a car they would have to sell those cars for the price of normal cars to get rid of them to average American's
Not to mention your insurance will spike
exactly. insurance, gas, tires, maintenance, etc. Cars are really for the rich or people who have no other hobbies.
Here’s a dirty detail to keep in mind. If you see a Hellcat Widebody on the lot for 4K-6k off sticker. You are not actually getting a deal, your a paying what was the initial MSRP for the ‘23 model year. Dodge bumped up the prices on the cars throughout the model year. I custom ordered my Hellcat and the sticker price ended up being 4K more then what I actually paid due to being price protected. Also I know it looks like Dodge can’t sell any cars anymore due to lots appearing to be full but I do believe the situation is more strategic then it initially appears. Dodge ended production of their best selling cars in December with no replacement coming for almost a full year, thus they overproduced for the ‘23. So now they are sitting on a year’s worth of inventory, but with no replacement coming for about a year, Dodge dealers will still have leverage. In the next few months you may be driving off the lot thinking you got a smoking deal but in the end I think Dodge still has its customers by the balls.
Exactly! I noticed that widebody scats MSRP increased $3800 near the end of production. This is on top of the already high MSRP!
You forgetting the certain states and sales tax you may have to pay cause NYS sales tax is RIDICULOUS
