- Echo has a much more well known history in the Clone Wars than the secret missions carried out by his fellow members in the Bad Batch. Here are all of his most notable missions as told in The Clone Wars series.

Its crazy to think that Echo is a character we have known for 13 years.
Wouldn’t Echo be around 13 chronologically in canon?
@@spencersholden That's probably about right. But keep in mind he was not of the original Clones that fought in the Battle of Geonosis so he might be a little younger.
@@mitwhitgaming7722 Echo didn't fight in the First Battle of Geonosis. He and the rest of Domino squad were still cadets. Their first post was the Rish Station.
@@captaincoolbreeze9429 That's what I said, isn't it?
@@captaincoolbreeze9429 Oh, I see the typo now. I said "on" in stead of "not".
This made me realize just how little we saw of Echo before his injuries. Aside from Clone Cadets and Rookies, we only see him once in his regular 501st armor and only a couple of episodes of one arc in his ARC trooper armor.
I wish they threw in more named clones (like Fives, Echo, Waxer, Boil, etc) into random episodes just so we could see more of them throughout the war.
This shocked me too. First learned of the clones in swgoh. I assumed Echo & Fives we all over Clone wars and in as many episodes as Rex. They are def memorable, but def less involved than I guessed.
I hope Rex gives Echo a new handprint mark on his new armor
I wish
Honestly
Seems pointless
@@KingRogue but it will give him memories of his honor and sacrifice
@@SirSamuel_Smith_Squirrel_TheIV I don't think he needs a hand print for that
I remember being distraught when Echo died, so happy he’s alive
I like to think that Echo only sustained damages to his body would have left severe burns and nerve damage and such, but then the Techno Union decided to cut off his arm and legs and do all the implants on his body because they wanted to, like they did to the Nelvaan Warriors in the Clone Wars microseries.
I think he def lost the ability to walk after that explosion, but they def cut off his right arm
Gregor exploded and retained ALL his body parts
So its almost 100% certain the Techno Union just cut his limbs on and replaced them
Echo’s development has been so great
So he’s like 3/4 of the way to being Darth vader? I had no idea he lost his legs
Well those are prothetic as well now...
At least it gives him another inch. He was 6ft before but now 6ft 1 I believe (still better than Fives, who's 6ft underground)

Domino squad was my favorite group of clones! I’m just glad one of them survived the clone wars and I can only hope he survives the Empire as well !
Right now, my main complaint about The Bad Batch is actually about Echo. He feels generally underused and ignored most of the time, even though he has the most unique perspective of the Batch, being a) a former Reg, b) relatively new to the group, c) a character who at least used to like orders, structure and protocol. He'd be a great foil for the rest of the Batch, sympathizing with the Regs, nervous about rebelling and clashing with the Batch's general "We'll make it up as we go along" style as he prefers caution, forethought and details. Instead he's just another Batch member, with everyone acting like he's always been there, even though it hasn't been that long since he joined, and he lacks a distinctive specialty, given how much his overlaps with Tech's.
Don't get me wrong, the series is pretty good so far, but I think it would be even better if Echo had been the central viewpoint character, not Hunter, and if his specialty ended up being tactics and planning, since TCW's Bad Batch arc was all about how good at that he supposedly is. As it is, he just feels like a brand-new, semi-background character who occasionally has a few lines (which, to be fair, I suppose he was originally), not a major returning character on equal footing with the rest of the cast.
And why on earth doesn't his armor have a handprint icon on it? That was LITERALLY his defining symbol! Half the time I see him with his helmet on, I think he's Hunter (mainly because of the pistol).
Echo is my favorite clone. I am going to cry if he dies at the end of the season
Fingers crossed he won't
I killed him for disobeying order 66. All clone who don’t follow order 66 will die. Good soldiers follow orders
I hope they don't kill Echo in the BB. He's the only member that would not likely be affected by the inhibitor chip. The rest of the squad is quite unsure since, it affected Crosshair, which means there's that chance that it might affect them as well except Echo.
(The Bad Batch are returning to Kamino...)
Wrecker: It's good to be home. How long has it been?
Tech: One hundred and eighty rotations in a standard cycle, but galactic zone changes put the adjusted figure at around 205.
Wrecker: What?
Echo (sighs): A long time.
(After The Bad Batch Episode 3)
Omega: say echo, are those picture of You, Fives, Rex and Cody?
I remember that when I first saw the unfinished version of the Bad Batch arc of the clone wars I couldn't trust Echo, I thought he could've been a spy for the CIS. I guess he wasn't
I do not want Echo to bite the dust...hell I do not want all of thebad batch to bite the dust even crosshair.
I wouldn’t mind crosshair sacrificing himself for the bad batch for the plot’s sake
I hope when Rex and The Batch meet up again Rex and Echo talk, at least briefly, about Fives
Now I wonder if the separatists noticed the inhibitor chip when they were doing all those cybernetic augmentations to Echo.
Echo was my favorite clone since the beginning. I was devasted after the Citadel arc. And then years later I found out that he was supposed to appear in the unfinished episodes of The Clone Wars. Years of grief were for nothing. And then suddenly Season 7 came out and I feared Filoni brought him back only to kill him again. Because that's what he does.
I cannot believe Echo is still alive but I'm not looking forward to the end of the Bad Batch. I won't be able to take it the second time :(
Yeah but how does Echo's Bad Batch Helmet works?
Like how does he put it on?
with 1 hand.
Yeah it's lightweight enough he can remove and put it back on with 1 hand.
It's cut out in the back and on the sides and he slides it horizontally onto that device around the back of his head.
on a related note, when did he gain the head gear? In that last clonewars still he's still go ears then suddenly in BB he's got headgear... for why. Is it removable?
Just finished my Echo rewatch binge when this popped up. Solid timing.
Hes my favorite character outta all of them
Someone gonna have to tell him.... fives... the missions... the nightmares... there all over
Echo is like the first Lobot
Well, the thing about Lobot is that his mind was permanently altered to act closer to that of a droid's. Even as badly as Echo has been traumatized, his mind isn't *that* far gone.
True!
I wonder if they will replace his astromech hand with a actual cybernetic hand
He need a wakanda arm like Bucky barns
Why? The astromech hand is a lot more useful for what they do. Unless they can come up with a cybernetic hand like Inspector Gadget has, I think the droid hand is sticking around.
Please show a scene echo looking at a pic of the domino squa
I always had a feel from the moment I saw Rookies Echo was special.
Did clone numbers get reused when a clone died? otherwise how did they number them? by having only 4 digits you can only have 10,000 clones (counting CT-0000).
Well there were 200,000 in Attack of The Clones (with a million more well on the way) so I guess it's just easier on screen to call them CT-1138 than CT-658291
Honestly Clone numbers have been a little inconsistent. Fives for example in his first appearance had the number CT 27-5555. But later he was just referred to as CT-5555.
They do have longer numbers and variants - Fives’ whole CT number prior to his ARC status was CT-27-5555, and I assume the numbers were added onto whenever needed.
Thank you folks. Now that you say it, I see the answer was right in front of me. Thanks for steering me in the right direction!
@@creativeone298 The 27 in CT-27-5555 could be Fives batch number.
man i just want the gree to become canon
Nice love echo
That rookies episode was so great and one of my favorites as a kid
I think we can agree echo is one if the best clones ever. His whole arc and story throughout the clone wars and now the bad batch is just brialliant and his "death" in the citadel arc in sesason 3 of the clone wars was so heart breaking until we learn he survived in season 7 😃😃😃😃
Echo, my favourite Clone!
Crazy to think we first met Echo in 2008.
Echo is definitely one unique clone troopers. One of the best character histories ever in the clone wars.
Poor old echo
How 'bout his time on Kashyyyk with the Bad Batch? Even if we didn't see the story, the unreleased episodes are still canon according to Filoni.
Please do more of these!
Thanks, Alex! ⭐
Awesome
Echo my favorite ❤
Could you do the same video on Rex? Would love to refresh my memory for this particular character
Not related to this video topic but I have a question for your
Q&A video. Apart from Chewbacca were there actually any other wookies in the rebel alliance/ resistance?
This is gonna need a big ol update
A great team player.
Wait, I just realized that Echo didn’t have the Lobot computer head thing until the new show. Huh
“Heroically 1 by 1” one was killed before he could even fire his gun and one was eaten by a giant eel
The bad batch have been characters since 2015
So, unrelated to the topic at hand, but is Kolloma Ree, Capta in of the Jedi Temple Guard, the same person as the Grand Inquisitor?
I love the bad batch
Hi
Wouldn’t Echo be around 13 chronologically in canon?
I feel like the people who call Echo underused on the bad batch ignore all the character development he already went through on the clone wars
I think some people don’t realize they’re the same tbh.
If you like spoilers his Hot Toys figure is worth checking out.
what was echos final death?
Wait he was in the BadBatch?????
that one dislike,
Why didn’t they just use the clones dna it was would be identical to jangos
Arc trooper isn’t a rank, it’s a type of training. That’s like saying Army Ranger is a rank
:)
This is kinda premature to recap his story, we still don't know his faith in bad batch series...and i have a baad feeling about it
Eco should’ve executed order 66 instead of acrosshair
Unlikely. I doubt the chip would even work on him anymore since, he is more machine than man, like Tech said. He's pretty much the only hope there would be if the rest of BB succumbs to their inhibitor chips by trying to remove it from the members, but ofc it would likely seem impossible if he would be the only one left to do that, unless we can now count omega to help.
But what about Fives? Is he safe?! Is he alright? Surely all of Domino Squad wasn’t wiped out…
😬
Last time i was this early the Republic still existed
