It's no surprise that Jan Hammer was hired to compose the theme for Knight Rider 2000. The Miami Vice theme is beyond iconic. It's legendary and sums up everything that was cool about the 1980s. When you hear it, you know exactly what decade it came from.

Good grief, putting Miami Vice in the mix is straight up epic incredible in its own right, now I can't wait to episode 8 to come into play, fingers crossed for that episode to come and good job.
Crazy how he’s upgraded to CGI now making the plot even more entertaining! I remember him using the scenes masked into the episodes and now it’s all quality blending
Thanks! That’s why it took so long to get this part out 🤣. I’ve modelled multiple vehicles and airwolf in and out and rigged … hellish process but very satisfying in the end. Now I’ve got a few ideas for photorealistic motion capped characters that I’m hoping will work just as well… if they do then we’re in for some real hilarity! 🙂👍🏼
@@Lampoonery You should feel proud. I just found this an hour ago and have been watching all the parts so far and while there's definitely some rough spots everything else, particularly the story has been pure fun.
The highlight of this episode was the chase with KARR and the KARR model making all the appropriate bumps off the street along with the breaking and accelerating.

@@BrianKitching-wv5nh thanks for joining! i modelled him with a grey lower tone but it’s possible the lighting in scenes could alter that somewhat… i’ve given him a new feature in the next episode where he can alter the color on the fly 😁👍🏼

Love seeing these! I got another scene idea for you! You know the scene in the original FF1 where the Supra races the Ferrari? Maybe it's possible for you to CGI over the black Ferrari with Crocketts Testarossa and have a Crockett/Tubbs vs. O'Connor/Toretto street race? Not sure how it would work into the story but it could be a fun scene to make! Keep up the great work!
Yeah I would love to revisit that scene - I think in part five KITT raced the obnoxious guy in the ferrari so we could have a comeback for him against the daytona - I have the rigged 3d model ready to go 🙂👍🏼

When AI technology gets to the point creators don't need to use recycled footage from the old TV episodes maybe we will get Knight Rider season 5! Imagine stuff like this without limitations. With that said, Lampoonery does an excellent job using current AI tech. The amount of work that goes into these episodes must be tremendous.
It’s a knightmare 🤣🤣. There are AI models today that can generate video - but believe me, they are still awful and need a lot of wrestling with to get anything worthwhile - i’ll post examples to show you in community posts soon 🙂👍🏼
