  • Of all the classes that came with the launch of MapleStory, none would even come close to matching a Magician's dominance over the training meta by the time 4th job arrived. Within these three Magician branches, Bishop specifically held the most powerful tools that would eventually lead to an extremely broken leveling meta.

Yes I am really keturah, yes thats me at #7 on the legendary 200 gms maple rankings. Thank you so much for this video. I lived every single thing you talked about (up to the bishop leaching I was 200 in June 2008 so never did that) and you covered things I had totally forgotten. Very comprehensive and 100% correct information. I still remember the pain of converting to lukless but it was required to one hit skeles and thats what made it possible to get to 200 so quickly. Have to say after all these years I am back to maining bishop and it feels totally right! Thanks again and keep up the epic content creation!

Babe, cancel the restaurant. My stomache suddenly started aching😢

  • @BrunoMunhoz1997

Would be cool if you told in the end of the video, that the first ever level 300 is a bishop

I remember the impact Bishops had back in the day. My brother, who exclusively played NL or rogues in general, leveled a bishop to 120 SOLELY for the leeching services so he could funnel back into his Night Lord. He even had me do an hour or 2 of the service so he could take a break and he even gave me the Mesos for the time i did.

bro said theres no way to mess up a character, you would be surprised what my 7 year old self can achieve

  • @equinox3861

Your videos made me so nostalgic about OSMS that I started playing an offline version of v83 maple on my phone hooked up to a monitor with keyboard and mouse. Having a blast progressing with my character to levels that I couldn't achieve when I was younger haha.

  • @miltfox

In old maplestory not able to max out your skill and leave some spells without maxing them kind of sucked and there where some skills also useless like wizard's 2 job > poison skill was ineffective . I also do believe that some classes needed changes and in late 2008 - 2009 when cygnus classes came out it over shadowed everything that first adventures could ever have... classes went into disbalance. wind breaker could turn invisible, flame mage could cast fire AOE damage at level 30 already nightwalker also had bats? :D warrior had getsuga tenshou skill at 30, oh the striker 3job shark spam, i still think one of the coolest looking skills.

I haven't played maplestory since I lost my account to an information leak in the maple trade system. I remember I would go to school, think about maplestory. Go to work, think about maplestory, then get home, and sell leeches until I was too tired. Rinse and repeat. I became a whale with the release of hidden potential and my entire life was flipped upside down when my account was wiped from that glitch in the maple trade system.

  • @taro-matcha

I like how Flyff BGM is used in these videos. Both games have really nostalgic and memorable BGMs..

  • @MaplejuiceVideos

I give you mad props for having these hour+ long videos that succeed to hold my attention throughout them. Some of the niche things that you bring up in terms of nostalgia are golden. Still keeps me engaged with modern content because the past is still so well remembered. I don't play anymore but you and coppersan put out some high quality stuff that I go to when I need that ms fix. 👍🏻

  • @broccolol12

I've watched a lot of RUclips over the past 16 years of my life and come across a lot of channels and I have to say yours is my favorite. I absolutely love your presentation and narration on these longer-form videos you put out and I just want to say thank you for allowing me to revisit my childhood with a game that I hold so dearly to my heart.

  • @gantz5258

  • @whyvernics

jesus between the script, editing, voicework and sheer video length its actually insane the amount of quality content you're able to put out so quickly, I have no idea how to you do it but man I appreciate your dedication!

This video was incredibly good, and I'm glad to see you've done other maplestory retrospective videos. Excited to dig into these.
