  • Welcome to the first day of my 2023 Spring Cleaning Spree! I’m so excited for you to join me in showing you how to reset and refresh your home after the LONG (if you’re from the Midwest, like me) winter. My goal is to share the many spring cleaning tips that my family and I have learned over the last 40 years of cleaning professionally. Please don’t feel overwhelmed or like you have to do all of this. My hope is that you can take away a few of my helpful tips and work them into your own spring cleaning routine. Let’s have some fun! 💚
    If you're interested in shopping any of my spring cleaning products, please check out my amazon storefront for affiliate links and purchases - www.amazon.com/shop/cleanthat...

    I... genuinely didn't know there was a drawer at the bottom of the toaster. I've just been tipping this massive 4 slot toaster over and smacking it, lmao. Thank you for posting this, I feel like such a clown but my toaster is gonna be a lot nicer after today, lol

    The vinegar may cause rusting in some microwaves. Two cups of water, a quarter cup of lemon juice, and a squirt of dish soap. Microwave for two or three minutes to steam inside (depending on siZe). If the steam pops the door open, don’t panic just heat for 30 seconds less next time.

    I love that you tell us how much time it takes to do these tasks. I always feel inadequate when i do the cleaning from other cleaning content creators where they do tasks for like 30 mins and i do mine for 2 hours. It feels reassuring. Thank you, brandon

    I take the toaster outside, tip it upside down and give it a good bash. Birds might like those crumbs also stops the risk of me accidentally spilling them on the floor when trying to get them into the bin

    That's the same way how I do my microwave hero at home as well. I also find that the vinegar helps with burn smells coming from the microwave or from over cooking food. Plus I do the same thing with the toaster as well with the shaking it upside down into a trashcan.

    One of my clients has an absolutely disgusting microwave with dried food from months ago. How do you clean this?

    • @curtis4982
      @curtis4982 2 месяца назад

      I would use the same process to start, as the steam will loosen the gunk that’s hardened on the inside, then probably try and remove as much debris as possible. Using a sponge (probably a scrub daddy because they’re the actual best) and the same solution Brandon mentions in the video, start to scrub off as much of that gunk as you can.
      After that I would repeat the first step of steaming the microwave again and then reapply some soap with the sponge and it should hopefully be much cleaner by then. Maybe even repeat those steps a third time to yield best results.

    30 to 40 minutes? Noooooooo. It should take less than half of that to clean your microwave and toaster if they looked like the ones in this video. If they are dirtier with a lot of baked on, caked on spills, then it would be longer.

      It's mounted over the stove. So it's part of the cabinetry basically.
