@@MrNadav1995 Karma exists my brother. However, sometimes we just don't see it when it comes and we expect more from karma but it comes in several smaller subtle doses. I remember a family where the parents died of old age and left the family home to all 4 children. The youngest sibling was always a materialistic bastard and eventually evicted his sickly eldest brother from the family home where he had lived all his life since he was taking care of his elderly sickly parents until they both passed. Apparently, he found some loophole in the law and capitalised on it in a malicious way to evict his eldest brother from the family home. He made his eldest brother live on the street at 60 years old!! A few years after that the youngest brother needed a kidney transplant, and his own children refused to give him one of theirs plus they were not a good enough match anyway. However his eldest brother's kidney was a perfect match ie Same mother and father, right? The eldest brother was very bitter since his eviction so he just said, "When is your funeral?" That is Karma my brother. It comes in different doses to different people. Be kind to others and don't cause any unnecessary hurt and pain when you can. Talk things through and treat others as you would want to be treated. Remember you once loved that person. The life you save could be your very own. God bless you all. Keep safe.

REMEMBER guys, this was the best thing that could have happened. Think about it. It reveals a character flaw that she has no intention of addressing. It's a way for her to avoid uncomfortable situations and interactions. Clearly she has experienced some sort of trauma in her life that tells her that this type of behavior is appropriate. Why would you want someone like that in your life?

Literally just happened to me 4 days ago. Had an awesome, entertaining conversation for 1 hour and 34 minutes. The attraction was clearly defined on both sides amongst all the things we talked about. Next day, one text.....that's it, now silence. Clearly high school doesnt end at 30 lol.

Then you need to back off for a few months, long enough for her to think you could have changed when you approach her. Now we share so much in common, and make each other laugh. I guess the best thing I can do is just avoid her too, and do not message her. It could be a test. What wonderful advice! I had a woman ghost on me 4 months ago to later approach me at the gym with a smile and kiss on my cheek. I smiled but didn't return the cheek kiss, she looked confused and acted as if we were best "mates". She kept staring at me the whole time but I ignored her and kept my focus. True, and like already stated a risk we all take… but guys today are far too easy for women. We throw ourselves at them and are literally lined up waiting for (hoping for) a turn. I ran into someone who ghosted me several months earlier and ignored her completely and THAT pissed her off so bad she had to walk over to my table and try to strike up a conversation. There's some psychology for you! I called her Tonya even though I knew her name was Tosha. :) Frankly it's upsetting for about 5 minutes to me. I used to let this kind of stuff bother me. Now that I am older, it's just not worth the effort. I know I'm a good guy who treats women well and when they (or men) behave that way, they are complete scum. I have no tolerance for spineless people in my life. Twenty plus years of military service makes life much more serious than some jelly fish I met who can't suck it up and talk to you. I have a lot of respect for women that told me straight up to my face why they wanted to stop dating. I even remain friends with some. GROW UP boys and girls. My only advice to men...…………..always make sure they know you retain the ability to walk away and you will do it and never look back. I was so utterly blindsided. When the relationship began she gave me a long talk on communication and commitment. Same thing just happened to me. We set boundaries and expectations of honesty, transparency, and communication. She randomly started short texting me, then I was lucky to get more than 3 texts per day. At this point I haven’t heard from her in 2.5 days smh
I had a first date with a beautiful girl last Friday. We have been texting each other everyday prior to the date. I was a perfect gentleman...opened the car door for her entering and getting out of the car. I even asked her to hand her hand & she said yes. When the date was over, she even gave me a kiss, & told me that she doesn't kiss on the first date...wow! Anyways, I thought we hit it off. I texted the next day telling how much I enjoyed our date....*crickets* It's been 4 days without a reply. My daughter told me that I've been "ghosted"....LOL! What is "ghosted"? She didn't get back to you BECAUSE you texted the next day. It indicates over eagerness, that you were more into her than she was into you, and you basically did what she was supposed to do. She has a million guys doing this. Your job isn't to indicate that you had a nice time because you are the host ! That would be like Ricard Montebaun telling his guests he had a nice time on Fantasy Island. You should have waited until the next week, leaving her the space to reach out in the meantime if she wanted to. One date per week dude. You must let women come to you at their own pace.

I’m heartbroken over the fact that I spent about a month speaking to this girl before we actually went out on a date. When we did end up going out it was amazing, we hit it off so well and we even kissed and held hands all night. She even told me how special I made her feel and thanked me for making her happy. It sounds like maybe the girl was on / off with an ex or had been dumped badly, or maybe some other reason. I would say not to expect it to go any further unfortunately. But who knows - she might contact you one day

So after a few years of on off dating we finally made it official and then spent two years living together during which we even ended up getting engaged. I absolutely loved this girl and did everything I could to make her life better. During the last few months we spent together she started to bring up her exes a lot and started ignoring me. I was constantly compared to her ex husband and her and her daughters with reminisce about the time they had together, even though the dude is a dead beat who kicked them all out on the street without a second thought. Then things got really weird, during sex she would want things quick and over with and would drink behind my back. She had a rough childhood growing up and became a mom at a really young age. At one point I told her that I needed to feel loved and cared for and when I asked for affection she told me that she had already done the “wife shit” once and that she didn’t plan on doing that again. Yet I was expected to do the “husband shit”? Needless to say I missed our relationship when we were still very much in love and eventually I told her I thought it would be better if we lived apart. I thought, maybe if she misses me a little she’ll rethink her position on our relationship. She did not, instead she picked a Friday to move her and her girls out and end things very abruptly. She unfriended my entire family and me on all socials and I haven’t heard from her since then. I love her, even now. We grew a bond during that time and it’s one she broke. I now live alone with only the memories and pain to keep me company. I’m heartbroken because I gave her and her girls everything I could, including my heart. Now my kids and I are left broken and alone.
Girl ghosted me after our date, i was at the beginning of my weight loss journey then and had only lost 15 lbs at that moment. Now im around 55 lbs lost and shes back lmao Moral of the story STAY ON YOUR PURPOSE, that way when she comes back you have better options and she wont get a chance with you.
If I know I'm about to get ghosted, I will just delete her number and never look back. If she contacts me days or weeks later, then I'll respond, but delete her number again because I don't play like that and I'll burn the bridge and have her fix it. I'll just go out and find someone else who isn't going to fuck around with me.

I believe in constructive criticism, the least the lady can do is be honest as a courtesy. Especially with good guys who are not going to rage. If you’re the type to not give the same treatment, then explain to her that you’re busy getting your life together (money, work, school, whatever applies in your situation). You may find that if she’s following you on forms of social media (ie Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), she may start trying to text or message you. Ignore it and focus on you. She lost her chance when she gave you the bullshit excuse that she was getting her hair done at the salon the day and time you were supposed to meet her and couldn’t charge her phone (this happened to me a month ago). She may be good looking, but if she’s an airhead, you’ll be stressed out beyond belief dealing with her. You have too much to live for to let someone who cannot respect the time, money and effort you put into be given the chance to disrespect it again. Give YOURSELF the respect you deserve.
In all my life I've never had a woman brave enough to tell me they were no interested. They always ghost, I felt some type of way at first but realized I don't have issues getting girls. I just charge her to the game and move on. If they come back we can have fun in bed but that's it.

We should all remember lots gals and guys have mental health problems, for eg BPD is very common. Ghosting someone suddenly is a symptom of deeper illness that you should run quickly away from. Its blessing in disguise.
The comments about moving on after getting ghosted are usually right... But that’s easy if you haven’t caught feelings yet, it isn’t so easy if you have and a lot harder if you have strong feelings for someone. Also, the you’re better off comments aren’t always true either. Getting ghosted doesn’t always mean the other person isn’t in to you or a bad person. It could just be they have been hurt before and are afraid or they are going through something and the timing is off.
You have a point. But even if that person was hurt or something, they have no right to do it back to others. If you are a good person, you can still have a conversation with them even if you're not interested. No hate intended. :)

@@Paulanthony01 kinda there also, some days are better than others but today for example has not been amazing...some days I really miss her others I’m like “I’m over it” ... what helps me a bit I suppose is reading about ghosting online and also kinda trying to remind myself that it wasn’t my fault. Ghosting really is uniquely traumatizing though especially cuz she was my go to person. Maybe it was a black swan but the signs were kinda there in retrospect. I’m just hoping that with the next girl I talk to I don’t bring the trauma from the last one.

Happened to me just last week, I didn’t want to accept it until I showed the messages to a friend of mine and he confirmed that she indeed ghosted me. Not going to lie, it’s frustrating to me right now because we seemed to be a perfect match. Looks, similar personalities, taste in music, both of us going to the same college and we had a good chemistry going on. I mean, obviously it isn’t the end of the world and there are more girls out there that are compatible with me, I just don’t know how much longer I should or could wait. I've had a thing for this girl for the longest time. Just being able to talk to her sometimes made me happy. We've known each other for years, hung out before, taken friendly pictures, and she always wants to give me a hug every time we meet up. Over the past year she ghosts me when I ask to hang out again. I don't even wanna date, just chill. I don't understand why she would take pictures with me, give me gifts, and hug me every time we see each other if I'm not someone she would hang out with in a friendzone. I don't understand why people would treat someone like a close friend if they don't feel close to them.
Giving up is simply not good enough. I put way too much time energy and emotion into making her feel special and it's the same as being discarded. Now after the 37th ghost I am far from ok and moving on. I can't believe I lost 150lbs and have bent over backwards to just be told that these kinds of people just get to continue doing this to others. More or less I am a very caring person who wants to know more about this person that I like and just want to be around them as much as I can. My two essential love languages are quality time and touch. Seems everybody wants to touch but that's about it. I just don't move to the physical as fast I guess.
Bro you need to actively create a spark of attraction in her to keep her. Girls are attracted to confidence and humor not neediness or being nice. My ex of 3 years just came back around after a 2 year split. She tracked me down and started to conversate for about a month. We talked about hanging out and all these different things. She has depression and I was helping her through it. Then one day her Facebook was gone and she has turned her phone off and or blocked me. The day before this happened I sent her flowers to her house.
I walked out on my Girlfriend 2 weeks ago after she bombarded me with disrespectful comments..We have recently finished a relationship course to address how we communicate with each other...lots of work done. And now we're right back to square 1...She has completely ghosted me since I walked out..she knew I was hurting deeply,and nothing..no empathy..no apology. Just nothing. I haven't reached out either..as I'm not chasing a girlfriend who picks and chooses when she wants to treat me like crap. It's a difficult situation as we have a 17month old son..who I love to bits. We never broke up...still friends on all social platforms...but it's 100% nothingness.
My relationship with my ghoster was around 2 1/2 years. Sadly there are sites that teach you how to ghost someone. This video along with that site really helped me see that me being ghosted wasn't as sudden as i thought. Thank you for this video.
Its really hard to not be bitter when it happens all the time. I know there are girls who are genuinely scared of telling men no for safety reasons but I always get the stand bye yes or the yes followed by the I can't make it text. I'm tired of women saying that I'm such a great guy but not for them.

I dated a girl for 7 months. We saw each other every weekend. We talked on the phone every day. We had good times together and never had any fights. Sometimes small disagreements. Two Saturdays ago we went to the AEW wrestling event in chicago. I drove us to the hotel. We took an uber to the pre party across from the arena. Got food and went in to the event. Afterwards the uber was surging. I wanted to wait alittle for things to calm down. She wanted to get out of there. It started raining and got cold out. She was mad and got to walking fast and texting. I ended up having to order the uber right away which was $70. And it didn't come right away. She was pissed off. Wasn't talking. I apologized when we got back to the hotel. On Sunday I drove back and dropped her off. I could tell she was still mad. I texted her when I got home. No response. Texted her a couple more times that day and no response. I called her the next Sunday and no answer. This sucks and it's a terrible feeling. I wish we could talk about things. She just cut off all contact. This HURTS!!!
Just happend to me... she never explained why, hardly messaged me and responded to my text... didnt even try to reach out not once for the last 3 weeks , had a crazy dream of her , made me call her at 330am... some guy picks up,.wtf! i asked for her and he acted like he couldnt hear me, then i see i get unfriended from her account from all social media lol smh ... why agree to be in a relationship! If you have doughts, talk about it and both of yal will move on.. these games piss me off. She was treated great .. but lack of communication , some women just rather be hurt than be happy.
It’s weird. This is the first time I’ve ever been ghosted in my dating life and I’m 22. Every other girl has been upfront which I massively respect. If I’m not vibing with a girl, I’m not going to lie to her and I will tell her respectfully that it won’t work out. The weird thing about this girl: the date was like 4 hours long. The conversation was flowing so well. There was tonnes of laughs. A few hugs. When we parted ways for the night I asked if she would want to do this again and she said ‘yes’. She told me to text her when I’m home safe. I did. She sent a fairly dry response. Then I sent another response which she didn’t respond to for 4 days. Then I hit her up just asking her if she wanted to go out for drinks. Then I got hit with the ‘seen’. Why tell somebody you want to go out again and then completely shit on them like that? It’s so unnecessarily cruel and I feel like I’m stupid for wasting way too much time on that girl.
at my age of 65 i started dating this year only to have been ghosted by 2 ladies after a few weeks of dating. its a shame how people are even at my age.

I had to ask myself, “If everything else I wanted to accomplish in my life was being accomplished, how much would this situation be affecting me?” My answer, absolutely not at all. We need to be able rationalize what truly has control over our emotions. When we relinquish that control to another person, or otherwise something out of our control, we feel lost, helpless, and left with no other choice but to accept it. But when we realize that we’re capable of owning our emotions, and being able to mitigate the emotional response from instances like this, we take back that control. In short, when you focus on the things that truly being you fulfillment and happiness, you realize how so many things that happen to us don’t matter at all. Pick up your crown kings, you go this 👑
Great advice Renee. I looked at some of your uploads giving advice to women and really it applies to both women and men. The reason I come here is for a second opinion. I find when a person opens a conversation they basically answer their own questions as it becomes clear. When a person is in love their rational and logic are clouded by emotion so something's they don't want to believe is real keeps banging on their door making it obvious to what's going on. Letting go or giving a chance to what another person says is it sincere or for the purpose of hanging a carrot on a stick for you to chase? When a person says they will stay with you till death which is what I have been told on a number of occasions with my current girlfriend. She is long distance and I last seen her in 2019. Even if I wanted to we could not see each other because of travel restrictions. I still love my girlfriend dearly and did briefly speak to her last night for perhaps 2 minutes on cam. Although she doesn't kiss me visually like she used to. I'm a positive type person on the other hand Im a very loving person. My girlfriend tells me take the pyszer. I would prefer when mandates are lifted. I don't wish to say goodbye and yet it's on the back of my mind . I understand closure. I'm very lucky in my life from the girlfriends I have had because I don't carry any grudges and still have been in contact with ex girlfriends and speak on afriendly level. My former girlfriend or who I thought was my girlfriend has had a son to her husband. And yet she is not really a bad person I spoke to her recently. I like the area they are from the people are nice there and not so busy. So honestly I like to pursue a relation with my girlfriend despite obstacles and think in a positive manner. My life at the moment is hanging on balance or at least that's how I feel. I actually proposed to me girlfriend and she said yes. In fact she mentioned marriage earlier. The thing is she works many hours and I wanted to speak to her on cam so when she didn't speak to me I wrote in a message. So we did really get on well the time I saw her and felt a chemistry. Here's my experience of ghosting so it can hopefully help someone. Went out on a date with a girl and I'm almost 30. She was a little over 30, still young. Date went great and everything. Not just saying that, she actually kissed me. I didn't say anything boring just said enjoyed the date and planned the next date the next day. I got ghosted and left. Nothing saying not interested or anything of respect. At first I was like why and this is just immature. Like many are saying below take time to yourself, know your worth and find a woman who actually cares about you. Keep spreading the message to friends and etc that ghosting is wrong and have respect to say they're just not interested. Its childish ladies and gentlemen. Unless they're a complete creep. Just don't do it and anyone who does isn't worth your time.

Ghosting seems to be a common thing these days. I’ve been using tinder & POF dating sites & the amount of girls who’ve ghosted me is mental. I’ve learned to deal with it now by telling myself there are so many other guys on these sites for them to choose from. Maybe they are more attractive then me. No point letting it get you down if it happens to you. Plenty more women out there who are decent, just takes a while to find that special one 😀

How do you react after you get ghosted by someone who you connected with on a personal level, acted like you were the best thing to happen to them, talked endlessly about all the stuff they were excited to do with you, and constantly call you cute pet names only to eventually reveal that they are moving to another state, and they had this planned before they met you. And after telling them it was wrong to lead you on like that, they ghost you before you can ask why they were on online dating looking for someone in this state when they knew they weren’t staying here? This was the best thing to ever happen to to you and it was over in a flash, and it turns out it was never real. You’re upset because things like this never happen to you and the one time it does, this happens. People tell you it’s better they did this now before you spent so much time with someone who obviously doesn’t care about you. It doesn’t change the fact that you miss them and how they made you feel. How do you move on from a ghosting like that?
That is hard to move on from I agree , because you feel betrayed , angry and confused. I guess instead of trying to put energy into working out why they did it , put the energy into building a new future and happiness that sets you up for someone who is on the same page as you . However, when you don’t have a lot of good things in your life and nothing good ever seems to happen to you, well you lose the will to go on and wonder what the point is to anything. When I had her, I was motivated, I wanted to do great things so she’d want to stay with me, all my problems seemed so small, and I feel like the people who preach get a good life on your own first most likely had someone to motivate them to where they are now and for some reason it didn’t work out, and NOW they preach that, as if they’d have gotten to where they are now on their own. All I’m saying is good feelings from an opposite sex motivate you to do good things, when you go through your life invisible and ignored, there’s none of that.

They are undeserving of the love you have to offer and if you kill yourself, you are depriving someone else of finding you and feeling the love you have to give. This girl hurt me yes, blindingly so. But she also taught me that evil takes many forms, including beauty. I will never let evil consume me and bring me down to their level or give them any power over me by harming myself. Ok I dated a girl with epilepsy for 6 years and helped raise her son, she was irresponsible financially which was our primary reason for arguements, granted she was 28 and I'm 45... She broke up with me on Christmas Day, said I was nothing and she didn't love me, then left and ghosted me... I was devastated because it was my family even though we were not married. I did redirect my energy, and primarily changed my eating habits to include eggs, if you don't know why, love and sex reinforce a chemical in your brain which eggs helps rebalance. Anyway, to this day months later I am sad 😥 Ghosting is a hurtful thing to do to anyone. I probably have done it myself not realizing, though she certainly did it on purpose. It also reflects when people do this that they really do have a mental illness, and a severe one at that, read on Borderline Personality Disorders (BPD) and Narcissists... These illnesses are dangerous, you are better off letting her go, because these women are like the Silence of the Lamb types, they will stop at nothing to vindicate any injury they perceive you have caused and are generally only emotional beings... They have no real reasoning center. They are sub human literally closer to animals then people. After alot of research on this subject it is a general consensus that women in particular that do this, are Sociopaths, and or Psychopaths... You don't need that in your life...

Everything you stated here is already known to me, and I just have to have the discipline to burn this into my brain. I was ghosted several months ago by a girl who was initially interested in me but decided to go in a different direction because she didn't know how I felt about her - yet she still showed hints of desire for me. On Christmas Eve her boyfriend proposed and she said "yes". Lately, it seems as though she's not even communicating as much with me on a platonic level...so...if she goes ghost on me again I will let her float on. I remember a family where the parents died of old age and left the family home to all 4 children. The youngest sibling was always a materialistic bastard and eventually evicted his sickly eldest brother from the family home where he had lived all his life since he was taking care of his elderly sickly parents until they both passed. Apparently, he found some loophole in the law and capitalised on it in a malicious way to evict his eldest brother from the family home. He made his eldest brother live on the street at 60 years old!! A few years after that the youngest brother needed a kidney transplant, and his own children refused to give him one of theirs plus they were not a good enough match anyway. However his eldest brother's kidney was a perfect match ie Same mother and father, right? The eldest brother was very bitter since his eviction so he just said, "When is your funeral?"

I smiled but didn't return the cheek kiss, she looked confused and acted as if we were best "mates". She kept staring at me the whole time but I ignored her and kept my focus. True, and like already stated a risk we all take… but guys today are far too easy for women. We throw ourselves at them and are literally lined up waiting for (hoping for) a turn. I ran into someone who ghosted me several months earlier and ignored her completely and THAT pissed her off so bad she had to walk over to my table and try to strike up a conversation. Same thing just happened to me. We set boundaries and expectations of honesty, transparency, and communication. She randomly started short texting me, then I was lucky to get more than 3 texts per day. At this point I haven’t heard from her in 2.5 days smh

She didn't get back to you BECAUSE you texted the next day. It indicates over eagerness, that you were more into her than she was into you, and you basically did what she was supposed to do. She has a million guys doing this. Your job isn't to indicate that you had a nice time because you are the host ! I’m heartbroken over the fact that I spent about a month speaking to this girl before we actually went out on a date. When we did end up going out it was amazing, we hit it off so well and we even kissed and held hands all night. She even told me how special I made her feel and thanked me for making her happy. Then the next day nothing. Ouch... what should I do? I’m so lost because I really like this girl.

So after a few years of on off dating we finally made it official and then spent two years living together during which we even ended up getting engaged. I absolutely loved this girl and did everything I could to make her life better. During the last few months we spent together she started to bring up her exes a lot and started ignoring me. I was constantly compared to her ex husband and her and her daughters with reminisce about the time they had together, even though the dude is a dead beat who kicked them all out on the street without a second thought. Then things got really weird, during sex she would want things quick and over with and would drink behind my back. She had a rough childhood growing up and became a mom at a really young age. At one point I told her that I needed to feel loved and cared for and when I asked for affection she told me that she had already done the “wife shit” once and that she didn’t plan on doing that again. Yet I was expected to do the “husband shit”? Needless to say I missed our relationship when we were still very much in love and eventually I told her I thought it would be better if we lived apart. I thought, maybe if she misses me a little she’ll rethink her position on our relationship. She did not, instead she picked a Friday to move her and her girls out and end things very abruptly. She unfriended my entire family and me on all socials and I haven’t heard from her since then. I love her, even now. We grew a bond during that time and it’s one she broke. I now live alone with only the memories and pain to keep me company. I’m heartbroken because I gave her and her girls everything I could, including my heart. Now my kids and I are left broken and alone.

Now im around 55 lbs lost and shes back lmao Moral of the story STAY ON YOUR PURPOSE, that way when she comes back you have better options and she wont get a chance with you.
If I know I'm about to get ghosted, I will just delete her number and never look back. If she contacts me days or weeks later, then I'll respond, but delete her number again because I don't play like that and I'll burn the bridge and have her fix it. If you’re the type to not give the same treatment, then explain to her that you’re busy getting your life together (money, work, school, whatever applies in your situation). You may find that if she’s following you on forms of social media (ie Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), she may start trying to text or message you. Ignore it and focus on you. She lost her chance when she gave you the bullshit excuse that she was getting her hair done at the salon the day and time you were supposed to meet her and couldn’t charge her phone (this happened to me a month ago). She may be good looking, but if she’s an airhead, you’ll be stressed out beyond belief dealing with her. We should all remember lots gals and guys have mental health problems, for eg BPD is very common. Ghosting someone suddenly is a symptom of deeper illness that you should run quickly away from. Its blessing in disguise.
The comments about moving on after getting ghosted are usually right... But that’s easy if you haven’t caught feelings yet, it isn’t so easy if you have and a lot harder if you have strong feelings for someone.
Also, the you’re better off comments aren’t always true either. Getting ghosted doesn’t always mean the other person isn’t in to you or a bad person. It could just be they have been hurt before and are afraid or they are going through something and the timing is off.

Happened to me just last week, I didn’t want to accept it until I showed the messages to a friend of mine and he confirmed that she indeed ghosted me.
Not going to lie, it’s frustrating to me right now because we seemed to be a perfect match. Looks, similar personalities, taste in music, both of us going to the same college and we had a good chemistry going on. Giving up is simply not good enough. I put way too much time energy and emotion into making her feel special and it's the same as being discarded. More or less I am a very caring person who wants to know more about this person that I like and just want to be around them as much as I can. My two essential love languages are quality time and touch. Seems everybody wants to touch but that's about it. I just don't move to the physical as fast I guess.

Its really hard to not be bitter when it happens all the time. I know there are girls who are genuinely scared of telling men no for safety reasons but I always get the stand bye yes or the yes followed by the I can't make it text. I dated a girl for 7 months. We saw each other every weekend. We talked on the phone every day. We had good times together and never had any fights. Sometimes small disagreements. Two Saturdays ago we went to the AEW wrestling event in chicago. I drove us to the hotel. We took an uber to the pre party across from the arena. Got food and went in to the event. Afterwards the uber was surging. I wanted to wait alittle for things to calm down. She wanted to get out of there. It started raining and got cold out. She was mad and got to walking fast and texting. I ended up having to order the uber right away which was $70. And it didn't come right away. She was pissed off. Wasn't talking. I apologized when we got back to the hotel. On Sunday I drove back and dropped her off. I could tell she was still mad. I texted her when I got home. No response. Texted her a couple more times that day and no response. I called her the next Sunday and no answer. This sucks and it's a terrible feeling. I wish we could talk about things. She just cut off all contact. This HURTS!!!

It’s weird. This is the first time I’ve ever been ghosted in my dating life and I’m 22. Every other girl has been upfront which I massively respect. If I’m not vibing with a girl, I’m not going to lie to her and I will tell her respectfully that it won’t work out.
The weird thing about this girl: the date was like 4 hours long. The conversation was flowing so well. There was tonnes of laughs. A few hugs. When we parted ways for the night I asked if she would want to do this again and she said ‘yes’.
She told me to text her when I’m home safe. I did. She sent a fairly dry response. Then I sent another response which she didn’t respond to for 4 days. Then I hit her up just asking her if she wanted to go out for drinks. Then I got hit with the ‘seen’.

I’ve been going through this past two days, wasn’t eating much or getting good sleep. But I just had the biggest breakthrough. I had to ask myself, “If everything else I wanted to accomplish in my life was being accomplished, how much would this situation be affecting me?” My answer, absolutely not at all. We need to be able rationalize what truly has control over our emotions. When we relinquish that control to another person, or otherwise something out of our control, we feel lost, helpless, and left with no other choice but to accept it.
But when we realize that we’re capable of owning our emotions, and being able to mitigate the emotional response from instances like this, we take back that control.
In short, when you focus on the things that truly being you fulfillment and happiness, you realize how so many things that happen to us don’t matter at all. Pick up your crown kings, you go this 👑

The reason I come here is for a second opinion. I find when a person opens a conversation they basically answer their own questions as it becomes clear.
When a person is in love their rational and logic are clouded by emotion so something's they don't want to believe is real keeps banging on their door making it obvious to what's going on.
Letting go or giving a chance to what another person says is it sincere or for the purpose of hanging a carrot on a stick for you to chase?
When a person says they will stay with you till death which is what I have been told on a number of occasions with my current girlfriend.
She is long distance and I last seen her in 2019. Even if I wanted to we could not see each other because of travel restrictions.
I still love my girlfriend dearly and did briefly speak to her last night for perhaps 2 minutes on cam. Although she doesn't kiss me visually like she used to.
I'm a positive type person on the other hand Im a very loving person.

Here's my experience of ghosting so it can hopefully help someone. Went out on a date with a girl and I'm almost 30. She was a little over 30, still young. Date went great and everything. Not just saying that, she actually kissed me. I didn't say anything boring just said enjoyed the date and planned the next date the next day. I got ghosted and left. Nothing saying not interested or anything of respect. At first I was like why and this is just immature. Like many are saying below take time to yourself, know your worth and find a woman who actually cares about you. Keep spreading the message to friends and etc that ghosting is wrong and have respect to say they're just not interested. Its childish ladies and gentlemen. Unless they're a complete creep. Just don't do it and anyone who does isn't worth your time.
I went on a great date 2 weeks ago, we made good conversation and seemed like there were sum vibes there
asked her out the next week .... yep u guessed it Ghosted, in the end her Loss not mine she would of been treated like a queen
It was going great; talking daily and making plans for the future. Then one morning after eating at a restaurant together she just stops talking. Her friends and family were good to me.

I was 17 when I first started dating. Since then, I've been nothing but ghosted right after the first date. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I've even had girls approach me act all loving and understanding and they still ghost after they hear about it. Or if I found contact again the reason why I got ghosted would be "oh. Sorry about that" then immediately blocked again. I NEVER did anything wrong or hurt anyone. I'm starting to think women are all secretly against me
they're not against you. they're for themselves. they're selfish and society enables their animalistic urges
Ghosting seems to be a common thing these days. I’ve been using tinder & POF dating sites & the amount of girls who’ve ghosted me is mental. I’ve learned to deal with it now by telling myself there are so many other guys on these sites for them to choose from. Maybe they are more attractive then me. No point letting it get you down if it happens to you. Plenty more women out there who are decent, just takes a while to find that special one 😀
It can take longer to find the right now , but they are worth the wait. Ghosting is more common because people can be lazy , selfish and don't like confrontation
How do you react after you get ghosted by someone who you connected with on a personal level, acted like you were the best thing to happen to them, talked endlessly about all the stuff they were excited to do with you, and constantly call you cute pet names only to eventually reveal that they are moving to another state, and they had this planned before they met you. And after telling them it was wrong to lead you on like that, they ghost you before you can ask why they were on online dating looking for someone in this state when they knew they weren’t staying here? This was the best thing to ever happen to to you and it was over in a flash, and it turns out it was never real. You’re upset because things like this never happen to you and the one time it does, this happens. People tell you it’s better they did this now before you spent so much time with someone who obviously doesn’t care about you. It doesn’t change the fact that you miss them and how they made you feel. How do you move on from a ghosting like that?
That is hard to move on from I agree , because you feel betrayed , angry and confused. I guess instead of trying to put energy into working out why they did it , put the energy into building a new future and happiness that sets you up for someone who is on the same page as you . It will take time , but whatever we focus on is what grows x
Renee Slansky I get the whole you have to love yourself before you’re able to love someone speech, and I’m not saying I disagree. However, when you don’t have a lot of good things in your life and nothing good ever seems to happen to you, well you lose the will to go on and wonder what the point is to anything. When I had her, I was motivated, I wanted to do great things so she’d want to stay with me, all my problems seemed so small, and I feel like the people who preach get a good life on your own first most likely had someone to motivate them to where they are now and for some reason it didn’t work out, and NOW they preach that, as if they’d have gotten to where they are now on their own. All I’m saying is good feelings from an opposite sex motivate you to do good things, when you go through your life invisible and ignored, there’s none of that.

Flame Atlas It does hurt, in fact it’s the worst kind of hurt, the kind of hurt that changes you, but if you take your own life, you are letting the one who wronged you win. They are undeserving of the love you have to offer and if you kill yourself, you are depriving someone else of finding you and feeling the love you have to give. This girl hurt me yes, blindingly so. But she also taught me that evil takes many forms, including beauty. I will never let evil consume me and bring me down to their level or give them any power over me by harming myself. I’m still angry and wish I could make this girl pay for how she played me, but life just doesn’t work out like that. Now I’m determined, focused, dedicated to bettering myself everyday so when I do meet someone special, they won’t let me get away. And I encourage you to do the same!

I love unconditionally, so if she ghosts me, it's not a big deal. I still go on beach runs, gym etc.
I also seldom post stuff on social media, maybe once every three months. I keep Life chilled and fun.
I just delete them from my contacts I don't get attached anymore and I don't expect anything from them as well.
Ok I dated a girl with epilepsy for 6 years and helped raise her son, she was irresponsible financially which was our primary reason for arguements, granted she was 28 and I'm 45...
She broke up with me on Christmas Day, said I was nothing and she didn't love me, then left and ghosted me... I was devastated because it was my family even though we were not married.
I did redirect my energy, and primarily changed my eating habits to include eggs, if you don't know why, love and sex reinforce a chemical in your brain which eggs helps rebalance.
Anyway, to this day months later I am sad 😥 Ghosting is a hurtful thing to do to anyone. I probably have done it myself not realizing, though she certainly did it on purpose.
It also reflects when people do this that they really do have a mental illness, and a severe one at that, read on Borderline Personality Disorders (BPD) and Narcissists...
These illnesses are dangerous, you are better off letting her go, because these women are like the Silence of the Lamb types, they will stop at nothing to vindicate any injury they perceive you have caused and are generally only emotional beings... They have no real reasoning center. They are sub human literally closer to animals then people.
After alot of research on this subject it is a general consensus that women in particular that do this, are Sociopaths, and or Psychopaths...

Bumbled for a month and finally I talk to a girl for 2 days, we hit it off great talking about GoT and Star Wars until I brought up anime and her last words were "omg you're so nerdy lmao". Next day I brought up another topic and she hasn't said anything for 2 weeks. It's crazy how talking about GoT and Star Wars is fine but anime is where she draws the line? Not only is matching with a girl difficult these days but you have to be careful on what you say, it's like trying to disarm a bomb. It's too much work that it's ridiculous.

Hello #askRenee I have a question for you....So a common pattern in my dating life is, I swipe right, they swipe right, we go on a first date, it goes well, I get ghosted.....What's frustrating to me is when the date goes SUPER well too. During the initial flirting on the dating app, she compliments my looks, tells me I'm funny and seems interested in going out. At this point I'm wondering what I could possibly be doing to change her opinion about me.
It just doesn't make sense when we seemingly have a connection, I make her laugh, she tells me I'm physically attractive then suddenly changes her mind the next day...

OMG! So I found one video that addressed this topic and loved it...then I saw THIS one and I REALLY LOVE IT. Everything you stated here is already known to me, and I just have to have the discipline to burn this into my brain. I was ghosted several months ago by a girl who was initially interested in me but decided to go in a different direction because she didn't know how I felt about her - yet she still showed hints of desire for me. Eventually it was revealed that she was seeing someone and just didn't have the discipline to set aside her feelings for me. When she updated her status on Facebook to show 'in a relationship' (and I thought it would be me) she ghosted me. She apologized and I accepted it, and resumed a friendship. On Christmas Eve her boyfriend proposed and she said "yes". Lately, it seems as though she's not even communicating as much with me on a platonic level...so...if she goes ghost on me again I will let her float on. I see this like 1-pitch softball: either you swing for the fences and get a hit or you strike out. Ghosting is a strikeout, and once you blow it, it's a done deal. (By the way, I have an eye on one girl who lives in the same city as the ghoster, and I have an eye on one, maybe two girls who are classmates at school...Let's see where things go...) :D

How long you known them and how far have yall gone

2 years of getting in great shape, graduated college, moved to a new place and got the job I want. Meet a girl and we go out several times for 3 weeks and everything was great, even met her parents.
