Sometimes people ghosting may have nothing to do with you, it could be their own inner issues.
Often people can't live up to the initial image they portrayed when first meeting you. When not keeping it real goes wrong real fast.

That's true. Everyone who ghosted me was a cheater as well. They always - always - initiated and courted despite having somebody. In some cases it was like we were already together. Then all of the sudden they disappeared.

I'll tell you the problem I'm 43. 20 years ago connecting with someone was much easier. Social media, dating apps and being drip fed the words "you can do better" is affecting adult, mature relationships. Dating feels like a game now never used to be this way. Facts.
There isn’t a solution for stopping ghosting. People who ghost are either dead, immature or got issues in their lives or just naturally a coward.
Because she is immature and doesn't care about you, your attention was good for some time, now she is bored, wants another thrill, plus she doesn't see any value in you so she thinks she can afford to lose you. She believes that the attention she gets on social media equals connection, but connections are RARE.

Indeed. Got discarded and ghosted by a Gemini woman 8 days ago. Probably a narcissist. In retrospect, there isn’t a lot about our relationship for me to miss. She used me for a few months, now, I’m sure, she’s using someone else. She was fun during my turn. The discard was painful and confusing, but it demonstrates how 1 sided our relationship was. Keep on keeping on people. Life is short. Don’t let toxic people get under your skin. If a car/driver cuts you off, don’t let it ruin your day.

95% of the time if she ghosts you it is to test your strength. I'm one of the few that doesn't fall for it, and they always come back. Sometimes I have moved on, other times I'm still interested. I don't take it personally either way. That's just the way it is now, even if someone does everything right.

Real talk. Im dealing with this now. New thing...dated and talked for about two week and things really were going good. She went ghost last week for no reason. A weaker man would chase her and blow her up wondering what happened. I have not texted or said a word to her. If she wants to leave, then i bid them farewell on their journeys. I will never chase a woman again.

My "girlfriend" of 2 months (and my first relationship) ghosted me as well. She broke up with me on October 16th, but then she reached back out 10 days later acting like she was still interested in me. She wanted to see me on October 31st, so I plan to go over there after work, but then she all of sudden remember she has an event at her workplace and that we can do something tomorrow night. It's now November 14th and I've heard nothing ever since. I even reached out 4 days later to see if she was alive. No response! This really sucks!

I met a lady and we hit it off. She had been through a lot in her life. Basically, I was her support emotionally. She would call me and would be down. I'd talk her out of her 'blues' and get her to think positively. Things seemed ok and then she just disappeared off the radar. No texts, no calls. So I waited a few days. Then I texted, "Your silence isn't a problem. It's the reason why. If you no longer desire communication It's fine. But I feel I deserve an explanation." No reply. Oh, well, her loss. I move on.

You make it sound like it's the ghosted person's fault or like we're doing something wrong. No, in 95% of the cases it's always the person who ghosts who's either an asshole, has some personal or mental issues or is a straight up coward. Things like commitment, honesty and patience don't exist anymore. We want no attachment, feel like it's better to ghost than to be honest and we want everything handled to us right now. Building up a relationship takes both time, commitment and honesty and it would seem like literally no one possesses those virtues anymore. Remember, a person who ghosts you, blocks you or cheats on you never and I mean NEVER deserves a second chance.

Firstly, it's cowardly. Tell people how you feel, rather than cutting them off. Ghosting someone is like shooting them because you are too afraid to talk about how you feel. To the person who got ghosted, it will eat away at their consciousness as they try to figure out what they did wrong (even if they didn't do anything wrong and it was actually the person who ghosted them who had the issues, which is the case 99% of the time). It can destroy people's trust and just make things 100 times worse.
Secondly, it's selfish. Ghosting only ever hurts the person who got ghosted. They feel loss, like the person they liked talking to suddenly died. They may never see or hear from them again. It's honestly a horrible feeling and it's one of the most selfish things you can do to someone.
Finally, it's disrespectful. If you ghost someone it shows that you don't respect them enough to tell them how you feel about them. You can't ghost in real life, so don't ghost online either.

Romantic movies have just given us nothing but unrealistic expectations.
To be honest, i see why most men dont even take realtionhsips that seriously anymore, a woman that flakes on a good dude, and doesn't even have the repsect to explain why misn't even worth his time, alot women dont "get it" until they are old and loss their looks, THEN they wanna be cooperative and inattentive.

That was the key, when they "lose their looks." Because when they think they're too cute they want to run around as much as possible flaunt themselves as much as possible so guys can look at them and want them so they can say no and the power in saying no. Once their looks hit it's peak and start going down hill now they start doubting themselves and start to beg for the days when they were so cute and now they stop running around so someone can notice and make them feel "special." No more disappearing acts now.

I know she going through a lot rn because last week two of her close friends were almost killed in a hit and run on their motorcycle and she’s still a new rider and she’s been obsessed with her bike and riding ever since she got it and now she’s definitely scared because of everything and she also has to deal with her exes crazy gf who has it out for her along with a bunch of other private stuff going on so I know she’s going through a lot. Things seemed to be going really good, I was relaxed, we would just talk, and everything came so naturally and easily. Then the day after the crash she just vanished and everyone I’m in touch with that knows her hasn’t heard from her either. I know there’s a lot going on and she might want some space but I just want to know she’s safe.
If a woman ghosted you (regardless of what the reason was) you don't want her anyway. Her behavior demonstrates an inability to communicate like an adult and have an honest conversation about how she feels. A high quality woman will be straight up with you and tell you where her head is at, even if it's what you don't want to hear.

That's why "running game" or using dating apps/websites is largely a waste of time for most men, unless they possess a certain look that a woman finds attractive or one that society deems attractive. It's often based on her previous relationships. If a woman has only dated guys in the past that look similar to Liam Hemsworth, and is only attracted to men that look like him, then you'd be wasting your time trying to pursue her if, for instance, you're a short, nerdy Indian guy. Your verbal skills and game could be amazing, but if you don't look a certain way, you're not going to take her home with you. It's the harsh reality, which dating coaches will never tell you. When you realize a lot of outcomes in the dating game are completely out of your control, you can stop banging your head against the wall or pulling your hair out trying to figure out what you did wrong.

For me, even if you are the one that screwed up, if she doesn't have decency to say she doesn't like you and disappears, she was never good enough for you to begin with.
Women will ghost you when they realize they’ve extracted as much attention from you as possible, they’ve led you on and backed themselves into a corner. We as men have to see the warning signs before it gets to that point. Know your worth, expect to be seen as a prize and don’t tolerate a lack of reciprocity. And, this is why courting is dead. There’s no incentive to invest when the outcome is so unknown with how flaky modern dating is. I know if I like a woman, I’m not going to play games. I’ll make time to see her and get to know her, they should be willing to do the same.

I have been ghosted by two women I had a long relationship with for many years. I decided to stop hoping after a few weeks, though I would have prefered a "dear John" letter or something from them. It's not because she works a lot, it's not because she is abroad, or something... If she really liked me, she would have find at least two minutes to write me a little message. In some ways, I have to thank them for ghosting, because it's clear answer that we wont be well together anymore. By respect for the time we spent and the good times we enjoyed, I only send them news once a month, or for important days, and it's very short and polite.
Something important to remember is.

I feel this online social media dating crap is too weird. Iv been doing it for the past few years now and have met some very nice women however, it doesn't matter how good looking, well dressed, great personality and generous you are they're never satisfied. Everyone will continue to look for something better. 😂
What if everything is going well and the feelings are mutual and the chemistry is there? They are initiating, asking deep personal questions, getting you to come up to them, laughing at your jokes, flirting, getting dressed up, remembering small details, everything seems great. If they already have somebody else, would they sometimes just disappear? We never "dated" because she had somebody else, so neither of us really asked. But she always came around, tried to get my attention, we were courting and stuff. I didn't know what to do, so there was always an air of uncertainty and holding back. I didn't know how to progress. When she was excited and got all dressed up and got close, I didn't know what to do. I kind of blew it off and kept it neutral. Was I supposed to ask her out? It didn't feel right, but now I feel bad because she disappeared and I hesitated. I don't understand why this happens. Girls who are taken have a liking to someone else then end up disappearing one way or another.
You should also do a video for advice for women. One directed to women who do the ghosting and what they can do to get out of that habit and desire to ghost so easily.
I've been in love with this girl on facebook for 2 years. She lives far away but has shown over and over again that she likes me. Then she always has a reason as to why we can't be together. Not say that I blame her because she lives in another country. Getting frustrated I finally put the cards on the table 4 months ago and tell her I love her. Yes, but doesn't it feel like you're already together, or in the process? That's what I don't get. How do you juggle multiple people? Maybe they decide that the other person is better, since they are already with them. This happens a lot with work situations. They have a boyfriend at their job, then have another boyfriend at home.

Just got back into the dating game after a 4 year relationship. First girl I started talking to just ghosted me. Yep, did not miss dating at all.
It is interesting and as a man who has been ghosted by women to be given an insight to it. And I think this a good explanation, partially. But, mentioning the Hollywood philosophy; yes you can overrate that, but romance in Love to me and many is also a valuable nice thing which can surely come natural and is probably increasingly authentic in big data information era we're in. Attachment from insecurity inside is an issue, but also here it matters to which degree, every man or woman have their insecurities... If not so they are either lying or psychopaths. So to master insecurities from a certain but healthy need, attachment is a good thing, like a deal. Common examples of attachment (that often might not be healthy at all) are Engagement and Marriage....
But to end up with my opinion about ghosting, even though it might have a good reason in your women's mind (unless there's been real bad things involved like violence), it is very unkind, very impolite, rude and selfish; mind that you might leave this guy (who's terribly in Love with you doing all he believes is best especially for you) in possible terrible hurt, despair, more insecure, often leading to a common belief amongst men that women can't be trusted and are evil minded. Which in next relationships can lead to suspiciousness, carelessness, emotional or sexual abuse, or even mental and physical violence.
By ghosting you can serioudly damage someone severely... So I think there isn't a point in talking it right. If you leave him (or her cause men might ghost too); make clear why and talk about it if possible before you do so. My opinion as a man.

Guys, you need to pre-qualify women and not act as if she has nothing to prove. Women want to prove themselves. When a women is trying to show her value, in her brain she believes you are a man of value. Women want men of value and when she is proving herself to you, she believes you have value. Let the women initiate sometimes. If she cancels on you twice, stop trying and let her do some work, or just let her go. You must be willing to let a woman go.
