I have had strong conections with Yemaya for a long time now (4-5 years to be exact) but I guess it was all because of the sterotypes (loves children, love the ocean etc) but now I really need to get a reading, so I won't drive myself crazy trying to figure out who my Ori is.
Ache. I wasn't sure why I kept following you cause I couldn't agree with a bunch of things in your videos. It was frustrating. I find it fulfilling and exciting to see Orisha becoming so popular and accepted in this country, especially the awareness that it has been badly judged for so long here. I liked your video this time, it is important to appreciate everyone lol, I remembered back when I was so sure my guardian had to be Obatala and in Icofa, Ochun claimed me, I was shocked! Then, I still hadn't fully opened myself to this idea, as I was convinced that my father had to be Ogun, and came to be Chango (candela lol)! In the hand ceremony of my son I called Elegua and Orula did not let my word fall on the floor (even though just like most men, he wished for Chango lol) he was also shocked, same in the Icofa of my daughter, I called it (Obatala) she was so in love with Yemaya and was very surprised as well... it is important to make a close relationship with all and clearly understand and maintain unconditional acceptance and love. Not all of the popular 'traits' of the human idea (or explanation ) will apply to each of our individual astrals. I am happy for your video today, it will help a lot of people who don't have the proper guidance and understanding. One thing has become clear to me is that a lot of people are "practicing" alone and sort of self teaching, using the internet, etc. So I feel it's important for them to be guided to the correct roads to get where they should be. 😊🙏
You change so much, I saw your initiations ceremony in Osogbo in RUclips some years ago. You appear in documentary, about Orisha, migration to new World.
When I first started learning about the orisha a few years ago I wanted oshun to have my head soooooo bad only because I knew only one path of her. It wasnt until I learned that all the different orishas have multiple paths with multiple stories and personalities. Some young, some old, some good, some not so good. Then when I learned the real purpose of ifa and the culture and the history my whole outlooked changed. I understood it differently.
Most Nagar(negroids) are indigenous here and weather Afrika , alot of tribes mixed. From Yoruba ,hausa , dongalawy tribe , we nubians are Ethiopians and lean more towards kemet (tama-re) those beings are the neteru(Nadjaru) ,we have a rich heritage. And the DNA of them all
first one must determine who they are now and if these beings are in your bloodline , we are indigenious on these lands as seminoles and our ancient ancestors may come from different tribes not just yoruba ,some are cameroon or Akan and nubian , hindu afrikan
They orisha will fight over your head until you are initiated. That's why divination is so important to make sure the right information is given. When you get hand of ifa or mano de orula that tells you who has your head in that moment. It could be permanent it might not. It's not definite until one becomes an olorisha
