Peace and love my sista I like how humble you are. The way you view our elders is definitely something that's missing with a lot of people. Who think they're higher because of the little they may know. Keep the positive messages coming

ive noticed that the community in my area,...thats a big thing to salute one because of the time one has been in a perspective Ile... ...but,...my spirit will not let me do that when said person's EGO comes out in a public setting....time AND the wisdom of the faith is what my spirit gravitates to... i guess ive a lot to learn only being involved for less than a year.

I really like your train of thought on orisha worship, I've seen a couple of your videos and I share your opinions on plenty of matters you touch on in your videos. Regarding age vs. Knowledge, you are absolutely right that a younger iniciate can outshine an elder in knowledge, study and even ceremonial procedure ; however, chronological superiority still commands respect regardless of knowledge ; in a ceremony that elder who lacks knowledge will or should, start the ceremony ( which ever one it is), sit at the ends of any table, the younger one should always salute the older crown, the younger priest /ess cannot perform any type of ceremony to the older priest /ess just because of age. The above mentioned examples apply whether the younger priest./ess is either younger or elder in age than the older iniciate. Chronological factor plays a crucial role in hierarchy and respect within priesthood ; at least in a afrocuban orisha worship stand point ... Just my 2 cents I wanted to share.
    P. S. You have a very lovely name.

Many of us Africans are not from Nigeria. ,we have indigenous roots here in America as Seminoles ,washitaw yammassee from the creek nation , we lean more towards the Nubian people who worship the neteru /Nadjaru as Mu'sbat'u (sabeans) there were a host of divinities who represent the same forces , explore your genes we are combination of many
