This man has got me asking for every pellet in every size an shape! Costing me a fortune and i think my local RFD hates me.......... But! i love every minute of it. Your channel has made me a better shooter. Cheers mate and keep it up.
I agree, the build quality and finish is absolutely top tier. The perfect pellet for fun shooting. The new wasps are VERY similar just with smooth skirts. They are a bit more accurate than the hammers in my set up too, at the same price.
I've been using Excite Hammer 22 pellets by default while searching for the best pellet for my Avenge-X. They shoot good, don't be turned away by the economy price.
Great content as always.since you are trying cheaper pellets, Give the Bisley practice ones a go. 6 quid ish a tin of 177s. They shoot very well in my garden at 17yards using my brocock.😊
I buy H&N .177 Logo Club equivalent to 4 pounds for a tin of 500 in Poland, they are top quality and almost identical to RWS Superdomes but a tiny fraction lighter.
Very interesting, what I would try, is sticking them through a sizer, say 4.50 or 4.49, then a bit of a wash and lube, see if that improves things, however, as you say they are priced for shooting tin cans with the kiddies... May be worth a go though sizing them.. Ya just never know
Nice one again. How many of us are willing those groups just to stay that bit tighter.. ? Looking at the 22 version and they call it the English shape, ideal for plinking and targets out to 30m. Will get some and try them in my love hate thing the ProSport. They do look slightly unbalanced to me, skirt just a bit too long for the head ? All that editing, Thanks again All the best Keith
Cheers mate. Yeah the editing of this lot was a bit savage 🤣 I got bored... I was so hoping the groups would stay sub 5p. I've no doubt some one will have a rig that loves em...
@@tillysgunstocks surprisingly my Katran put 6 rws superdomes through the same hole (6mm oe to oe) @ 28m then I totally pulled the 7th…. My trouble I think is I tend to rush if plinking!
I had a bsa airsporter and used marksman pellets there was not a clothes peg on my mothers washing line at 20yds open sights. That was in 1980 I was 10 now 54 and blind 😂
Speaking from Kral Puncher, BSA Defiant and a BSA R12 CLX Pro - They are brilliant (not as cheap as the GAMO Pro Hunter which are about the same) they are 'nearly' consistent but get around 3 Flyers out of 15 pellets in .177. Very clean hole the punch through card and paper! The Wasp's failed in all of my guns and have 2 tins left 😞
The pro hunters I gave a fair review and a thumbs up based on the cost-performance. I'd bet if h&n made the heads split the difference between the b8 and the hammers on their budget range, they would be even better still
First off Bless You @0558. Next wish I could find these "ultra" budget priced in .22 this side of the pond. I have been using the Excite Spike in .22 for awhile and for under $5 a tin really can't complain. I just prefer domed to spike.
I've stopped using most JSB pellets ( apart from airarms df's in my 510tc.)and use H And N's ftts, kaisers and Barracuda ft. Mainly because of the number of fliers and damaged skirts in tins of Exacts.and h and n are the only pellet I use in my hw100kt .20.and JSB are so pricey in comparison.
They look similar to RWS Superdomes which I always think punch above their weight for another German pellet. RWS Hobby also a brilliant pellet for ratting :)
Interesting to see there is no real difference between the flat and semi-domed heads. Like you said, ideal for plinking and a bit of fun, as long as you understand their limitations. The swaging process is pretty well established engineering, so size wise you would expect any manufacturer to be able to size the pellets pretty well. The higher priced pellets you would expect to have more work done to them sorting, cleaning and removing flashing. Would be interesting to get a tour of a pellet manufacturing factory, wonder if they do you use the same die or have multiple dies on the go.
Absolutely.. so when we see the absolute junk some put out it does make me question if they actually care about their market or not. Plenty of recent evidence floating around that mixed dies go Into the same tins, with the same batch code.🤔
Great video Tommy I usually use baracuda 8 for my long range target work but I use the econ II for plinking. I’ve found that the excite plinking pellets the ones in the blue tin to be a little better than the econ II. So maybe give them a go? Thanks Oscar
Yeah i was using Gamo pro magnum for years as a budget steel plinker pellet maby give these a try. since there are a lot of deformed pellets with the Gamo pro magnum's So you recommend the Excite econ 2 the most as a budget pellet? or the Excite Hammer?
Try both types of h&n mate. At sub20metres the Econs were better for me,but if you wanted to run 30metres the hammer might be a better bet. The Econs did load better too In my barrels. Both are really nicely made 😉
i ordered 1000 pellets from gamo through a dealer. first time it arrived, the top tin of 10 was correct, the rest were the wrong pellet. the second time they sent it, the tin of 177 were contaminated with several 22 calibre, and the quality was appalling.
I'm sick of buying little tins of superdomes I'm getting the same amount of flyers. Lol I feel like we're getting ripped off! . My guns will never shoot another gamo pellet again.😂
🤣 only usually for comparison vids... The old batches of jsb heavies I use out at 100yds don't need any prep and still stay sub moa even at that range in sub12 😉
the only guy that can look at skirts all day & not get in trouble from the missus. Our hero ❤
Pinning that one Nate 🤣🤣🤣
What a good pellet I have excite spike.177
Running in HW 97 k
Awesome result.

It does make me wonder why everyone else struggles with consistency of build , when h&n can do it,even on their cheapest pellets🤔
I've been using Excite Hammer 22 pellets by default while searching for the best pellet for my Avenge-X. They shoot good, don't be turned away by the economy price.
Bring back Pete!!! love the channel mate. An everyday watch for me. btw noticed the increase in content, keep it up G!
I shoot the econ II’s out to 30mtrs with my SFS tuned 95 and I’m getting 5p groups consistently. Great little quality made pellets for £3.60 a tin!
Great content as always.since you are trying cheaper pellets, Give the Bisley practice ones a go. 6 quid ish a tin of 177s. They shoot very well in my garden at 17yards using my brocock.😊
The shape reminds me of the 'Marksman' pellets of 50 years ago....
In blue and red cardboard boxes!
Gamo match they are.
Were they Milbro?
These might be worth a punt for some fun stuff plinking 👍 a brilliant review as always 🙏
Morning mate. It's amazing what sort of build quality we can get for the money and highlights just how poor some others are at similar money.

They are quite consistent in my HW 30 @6ftlbs out to 25m, thereafter the groups open up
Another belter dude 😊
Thanks mate. Sun was out so I spent all day messing around 😉

Nice one mate. They're no match pellet, but shows what sort of quality we should expect even at the budget prices.

Another great video, good value for kids to plink with in the garden
Hi mate, they're not too sad atall. Would be great fun plinkers out to 30yds for sure...
wow they remind me of the old airships ,might try some

There is a video of a tour of the jab factory, fairly detailed

It makes you wonder if some time spent washing and sorting them would be worthwhile, can you make a silk purse from a sow's ear?

I just view these as quality plinking pellets just for fun use.
Absolutely mate. Cheap as chips and I'm sure even the most hardcore target shooters would have some fun plinking with these. I sure did 😉
I noticed the smell too. To me it smells like peppermint oil.

Gamo pellets are horrible, bought a crap load when I got into the hobby. Some need a hammer to seat properly, some just fall through the barrel...😂
@ErickvdK of course when only the tightest tolerances will do. Fall through the barrel , not even touch the rifling. 😂
At the beginning, did he say: "we've got a genital breeze" ...?😂
