Nice demo. My buddy just got one of these as a backup unit, and now he uses it more regularly. There was a recent update that added a lot more stereo effects. I have a Head Rush Gigboard, and the amp models are pretty spot on, in comparison, really not a downgrade at all, in fact his GP-200 has a lot more IO ports than my Gigboard.

Yes, with the new FW 1.2.1 it was a huge upgrade in my opinion. Finally high quality tereo delays, the other effects improve too...please check out my recent videos about the new FW ;-)

This is very useful as I play mainly clean, thanks. I saw your other comparison videos. Any chance you would be comparing Valeton GP200 with Zoom G6? I can't decide between the two. For me, the main factors are good clean tones, a decent looper, and good distorted tones that don't need a noise gate so high that the sustain is killed (that is the problem on my current multi-fx pedal NUX-MG300). I am repeating a question that I asked earlier: is the wah pedal available for all patches on pressing the expression pedal (this is the case with my current multi-fx pedal, NUX-MG300) or does it need to be assigned in the patch as needed? Lastly, does this have gapless patch switching?

Thanks for you question BA Gorimus! I don't own the Zoom G6, so I can't do a comparison video of these units. But soundwise, the Nux MG30 is the best unit in this price range, that I've ever played. So I doubt, that the Zoom unit is better. I got some Zoom units in the past, they were all decent, but not overwhelming. Regarding the Wah: You can assign different functions (effects) to the expression pedals. So yes, you can assign the Wah to the expression pedal in every patch you need it. But you can set the pedal to global mode, than it stays engaged, when you change patches. And patch switching is almost gap less. At least I can't find out a noticable gap.

Hi Daniel, thank you for your video showing how to setup a patch. This unit has expression 1a and 1b that you can assign to different module, for example 1a to volume and 1b to wah, but I could not get 1b become active in any new patch setup. I found the factory preset 04-A has exp1b selected (red light is on instead of green light), but I could not figure out how they were set; also I could not switch the expression pedal from 1b to 1a in this patch. Could you please let me know how to switch pedal between 1a and 1b? Thanks again.

Steve Wang, I tried it out: In Setting->Exp2/Footswitch, I selected EXP1-> settings. Then configured the Parameters, which should be set.E.g., Mode A: volume , Mode B:wah-position. You can change from A to B, by pressing the expression pedal really hard in the down position. When you save the patch in the state, you wanna have initially (e.g. red, if you want Mode B to be actice, when you change to this patch). It worked fine with my patch...The Wah and the volume pedal seem to have some aout engage funcion, so if you assign these, the blocks will change to the active state. If you are changing parameters of other blocks, make sure, you set them to active in the chain.

@@DanielKraemerMusic really appreciated that you spent time to try it out and replied to me. However, it still does not work for me. I do have the same setup as you mentioned mode A and mode B as volume and wah, respectively. Both modules are turned on in the patch chain. It seems to me the expression pedal itself does not have a toe switch like most stomp wah pedal that you can actuvate/deactivate the feature. I push it really hard by putting my body weight to it, but nothing happened.
Is it possible that you can have a video showing how to set up the expression pedal on GP-200? Thank you again.

Daniel, I finally figured it out. What I need to do is calibrate the expression pedal to get it work. The unit was not calibrated at all when it arrived. After doing so, I can switch between mode A and mode B by pressing down with little force. Thank you for you tips.
