Thank you so much for such a good review - you covered everything I wanted to know, and your playing is brilliant! I subsequently purchased a GP200 and I am amazed at just how good this thing is for the price.
I just bought the Valeton GP 200 as an inexpensive way to have a complete setup for a "in-ear only" stage at a church with the stereo out going into the house system. Your video was very professionally done, and it gives me hope that this little unit will do the job for me! Thanks for the review!
It was not as nice as the $2000 pedal another guy in church had, but all-in-all, I was very pleased with it. I'd say it was 90% as good as his sounds, and smaller and easy to set. I did have an issue with the factory power supply. My GP 200 started turning itself off during use, then turning itself back on. I decided to get a more powerful supply and that cured the problem. I think they undersized the power supply. I found an inexpensive one on Amazon that had double the amp output (same voltage of course) and I've never had the problem again. I used it two ways... (1) I sent a stereo signal to the board, and used their monitor send. (2) I used one side of the GP-200 output to send to the board, and the other side to send to my in-ears. I did the one ear in and one ear open thing and just had a good strong signal of my guitar in the in-ear side. Probably not the best way to do it, but it worked for me pretty well. Good luck!
Leo, thanks for so many wonderful reviews. After watching many of them, I bought the GP-200. Congrats and keep up the great work!!! Cheers from Brazil!
Thanks for your amazing insight on gear Leo. I very much enjoy creating & recording guitar music. I'm always looking for information and equipment that would make the process easier.
Nice job on the GP200 review. You're getting competitive sounds out of it already. I do agree that multiple USB ports would be better. I think Valeton will factor in your advice for their next one. I'm trying to learn all its tools and tricks but most importantly it has to have the ability sound great. So far, so good.
Great review Leo. I own this unit for a year now, but was only using it occasionally. things have changed a month ago when i first connected it to my mac and I unlocked it full potential. Your review was on spot - the right length with all the important, and objective, info that one would need. My only issues with this rig is the looper, which is rather basic and absolutely terrible drum kit. But not a big issue as i have standalone looper pedal and not so much into automated drum kit anyways. Otherwise, it is probably the best value for money one can get in the price range of 300-700 eur. Thanks again for you review, and i am off to explore more of your vids. keep it up❤

Hi Pedro, first of all thank you so much, I'm really super happy that you like the videos! Yes, it's because of the 8 foot switches. Such a high quality video and editing. I wonder if latency is improved vs GP100, which scored in the middle on your latency testing video. Also I'm curious about Ampero II Stomp latency. The box opening sounds at the end make me want to buy it so I can open it.
@@LeoGibsonGtr Hi Leo, you're so welcome. Someone figured out how to get rid of the fixed blocks and replace them with more blocks than the 4, so it's more like a larger pedalboard. Message me if you want some of the configurations.
Great review Leo, as aslways. Looking forward your comparison of GP 200 and Pod Go, as the formfactor is identical. By the way, do you still have your FM3 and Quad Cortex? I haven't noticed them in thebackground or on your desk.
Hi, thank you so much, really appreciated! Yes, the comparison with the POD GO will come...😀. Yes, I have both the FM3 and the QC...but in the last months (luckily) I've been sent with some units to review and so I'm making less videos with them... Thank you once more!
@@LeoGibsonGtr Fantastic demo song as usual. This looks like a killer processor. I will be interested in your opinion on how it compares with the POD Go. I'm still loving using my POD Go, but this price point of the Valeton is hard to argue with all you get for $350 (and it sounds great too!) God bless and rock on 🎸😎👍
Hi Leo, great comparison! I have one question. If I connect my tonex pedal in effects loop of Valeton GP 200 where it will be placed in signal chain? Does it has send/return block which i could move left or right in signal chain?
@@LeoGibsonGtr oh I thought your composition for the pedal board was superb and your playing , and I’m not a kid I’m a pro musician with a music degree!

Your videos and compositions are wonderful! I don't think the GP200 amps are the same as the Ampero MP100 amps. In the video where you compare Ampero MP100 vs Real amp, the Ampero is EXACTLY the same as the real amp, here it isn't. A comparison between Ampero MP100 and Valeton GP200 would be interesting. Thank you so much for the amazing video!
Another thing Leo, I saw you use "jump connection" on your Plexi. And in Valetone's description the "jump" is used in the simulation that Valetone describes as "UK50JP", it is a Plexi too. Your amp would be that then 8:19 no?
Your videos are definitely the best on RUclips for us Valeton GP-200 owners. One question - if I use an effects patch, then utilise the looper with that patch is there any way of saving the patch to an empty memory bank AND take the loop I created with it? I'm hoping to "save" my loops so that when I'm gigging I can kick in the effect and the loop. If so, can I save loops to every patch I create? ....... unfortunately I'm expecting the answer to be "no you can't save loops to a patch"! Thanks again for your videos.
Hi, thank you so much, I'm really super happy that you like the videos!! I think that this is not possibile...I'm not 100% sure, but I would be really surprised if the unit stores a loop for each memory block... Thank you!!!
Great review as always. Would it possible to do a quick video on comparing Valeton GP200 and Zoom G6? Both seem to have similar prices. Been a longtime Zoom user, but want to try out something new, if better. Btw, can the loops on GP200 be stored? Thanks.
Hi, thank you, I'm happy you like the review! I'm working on a comparison with the POD GO and then I will verify the most requested comparisons. The zoom has the possibility to store the loops in external cards, which is not available in the GP 200 Thank you!
Im planning to purchase a multi effect. Which would you recommend in 2025, im looking at valeton gp2000 vs mg30. Which do you recommend more in 2025 or do you have other recommendation? Ive watched your comparison but wanna know which is better since both are in the market for several years. BTW, i really love how you lay down your reviews.
Hi, thank you so much, I'm happy that you appreciate the video. It's hard for me to give you a "black" or "white" info, not knowing your needs. Both machines are nice and produce good tones. I would put it very simply: do you need 8 foot switches and no parallel effects? Go with Valeton. Do you need parallel effects, 48khz for recording and you don't need 8 Foot Sw? go with NUX. Thanks!
@@LeoGibsonGtr what I meant is in HX stomp I can split the signal (example signal A clean, signal B distortion) it's a good feature for bass player. Honestly I'm looking for HX stomp cheaper alternative. Oh, and can you stack overdrive with fuzz/dual overdrive?
Hi, it is not possible to split the signal chain. You can use the "pre" block to put 3 compressors. 6 boosters, 2 acoustic guitar simulations, 2 wah, 1 filter, 3 pitch shift effects and 2 special effects, like a ring modulator and a tape saturator. Therefore you can stack a booster with a distortion, but not a double distortion. Thank you!
I bought a Valeton gp200 based on your video. As ex Pod X3 live and Boss Me80 user, I'm very satisfied for the sound and build quality. But the tuner feel like not sensitive enough. I need to used my external tuner pedal to properly tuned my guitar 😅

Thank you so much!
You really rock, bro!!!
Thank you so much!!! I'm really happy that you like the music and the video!!!
Such a high quality video and editing. I wonder if latency is improved vs GP100, which scored in the middle on your latency testing video. Also I'm curious about Ampero II Stomp latency. The box opening sounds at the end make me want to buy it so I can open it.
Thank you James, I'm happy that you like the video!!! You are right...I should update my latency video....maybe in the coming weeks...
Thank you!
Great review and video as usual, you should really introduce your twin brothers though they can really play too.
Thank you, really appreciated!!!
Thank you also from my brothers...😀👍
Great video! I have the Pod Go and this definitely gives it a run for the money. Love your songs, and your playing. Do you know about the Pod Go hack?
Thank you, I'm really happy that you like the video and the song!!! What is the hack you are referring about?
Thank you!
@@LeoGibsonGtr Hi Leo, you're so welcome. Someone figured out how to get rid of the fixed
blocks and replace them with more blocks than the 4, so it's more like a larger pedalboard. Message me if you want some of the configurations.
Amazing playing. You say so much with your guitar, you don't need vocals. Pedalboard sounds great too.
Thank you so much, this is a great compliment...when you like my music...I'm super happy!
I'm still loving using my POD Go, but this price point of the Valeton is hard to argue with all you get for $350 (and it sounds great too!) God bless and rock on 🎸😎👍
Another nice review Leo!
Yes, I'm working on a video comparison with the POD GO
Thank you Dave, really super appreciated!!!
Hi Leo, great comparison! I have one question. If I connect my tonex pedal in effects loop of Valeton GP 200 where it will be placed in signal chain? Does it has send/return block which i could move left or right in signal chain?
superb playing and composition
Thank you so much...when you like my music...I'm super happy!!!
@@LeoGibsonGtr oh I thought your composition for the pedal board was superb and your playing , and I’m not a kid I’m a pro musician with a music degree!
Well Steve, I can't tell you thank you enough! Your feedback and compliments are really important for me!

Ciao Leo, sempre ben fatti e utilissimi i tuoi video.
I wish it had 4 more foot switches....good video as always
😀...Thank you, I'm happy that you like the video!
@@LeoGibsonGtr yes I'm thinking of getting the gp.Caribbean viewer...
Wow...Carribbean...wonderful places...
So thanks. I just bougth it.
You are welcome, I'm happy to have been of some help!
Hope there is a Leo guitar album out there? If not why not ! This track is Epic
Thank you so much Dan...not yet...but I'm working on something ... 😀 and I'm super happy that you like the music!!!
Yes. A comparative between Ampero MP 100 and Valeton GP200 is needed, please consider it. rhanks
Thank you!!!
que que é isso! que play fantástico! desta vez o Leo se superou ! parabéns belissimo trabalho
Thank yo so much, I'm super happy that you like my playing!!!
great playing, dude!
Thank you Luis, super appreciated!!!!
The zoom has the possibility to store the loops in external cards, which is not available in the GP 200
Thank you!
@@LeoGibsonGtr Thanks for your quick response. Look forward to my requested comparison in the near future.
Muito interessante essa pedaleira. Seria interessante um vídeo de comparação entre Valeton GP 200 e Nux MG 30! 👍👍
Thank you, I'm now working on a comparison with the POD GO and then...well...we will see...😀👍 Thank you!
Great video. I hope you can also compare it with the Mooer GE300
Thank you, really appreciated! Yes, maybe in the coming weeks.
Mg30 nux comparation please
Hi, thank you for sharing your suggestion!
Thanks!
Thank you Leo!
You are welcome!!!
hey Leo, did the Valeton GP200 better than the Mooer GE250 ??
maybe next video both together =]
Nice suggestion....this is another comparison I could do...thank you!
😯cool sound👍
Thank you, really appreciated!
Very nice! So it can't split the signal like HX Stomp/HX Effects? As a bass player, I need that feature...
Hi, thank you! no parallel signal chains can be managed...if this is what you mean
Thank you!
@@LeoGibsonGtr one more question, can I assigned the switches like on Line 6 Pod Go?
Interesting product, it sounds surprisingly good to me
Thank you for sharing!
I bought a Valeton gp200 based on your video. As ex Pod X3 live and Boss Me80 user, I'm very satisfied for the sound and build quality. But the tuner feel like not sensitive enough. I need to used my external tuner pedal to properly tuned my guitar 😅
Hi, thank you for sharing...Interesting point about the tuner... I have to check it out.
Thank you!
@@LeoGibsonGtr I'm looking forward for your observation😊
Hello Leo...
Love the vid, I myself now own a GP200.
I don't know if it's possible, seeing a s this is a old video, but i would like to know the amp settings (including effects and all) you used for each of the amps used in the intro.
hopefully that's possible.
thank you and keeep it up 🤘
Hi, thank you so much, I'm really happy that you like the video!!!
Actually, in the "more sound" section of this video you can find the settings for the sounds used in the demo song.
Thank you!
