This my second time having to set this thing up and it is the most difficult setup ever. It should not say easy. I have several wi-fi printers at home and it was easy. I can't recommend this product to anyone.

If connecting through a router has been unsuccessful, you can have your PIXMA TS3122 communicate directly with your computer or mobile device using wireless direct. If you're using a Mac, you'll need to have that on "macOS." Otherwise, you might wind up downloading files that your computer won't recognize and it might treat them as text files by default. I cannot set this up a second time. I had to get a new router, and it has a new name and password. I cannot get my printer to connect to my new network and forget the old one. You need a video for that. This video is not helpful at all. Seriously. There is no reason for this to be so complicated. It was hard even with a guide the first time I set it up. I think next time I will just buy a different brand printer with easier WiFi setup. 😑

This product is just awful. Every time I turn it on, it refuses to connect to my wireless network and I have to go through setup all over again. I already called customer service once. They walked me through fixing it, and it worked. Turned printer off because i wasn't using it. Turned it back on to use. Won't connect to network. Infuriating. I will never buy another Canon printer.
