- James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) cannot show us distant exoplanets in close up. It is a dream of man kind to see a close up picture of an exoplanet. All the pictures of the exoplanets that we have today are made by artists, not a direct picture.
To take a close up picture or an exoplanet you need a telescope of diameter 90,000 kilometer.
But NASA has already approved for the construction of a telescope, with a size of 14,00,000 kilometer . through this video, let us see how we can make such a telescope.
സൗരയൂഥത്തിന് പുറത്തുള്ള ഒരു ഗ്രഹത്തിന്റെ ഒരു വിശദമായ ചിത്രം എടുക്കുക എന്നുള്ളത് മനുഷ്യ രാശിയുടെ ഒരു വളരെ വലിയ ആഗ്രഹമാണ്. ഇന്ന് നമ്മുടെ കയ്യിലുള്ള എക്സോ പ്ലാനെറ്റുകളുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങളൊക്കെ കലാകാരൻമാർ വരച്ചതാണ്. അല്ലാതെ നേരിട്ട് എടുത്ത ചിത്രമല്ല. ഒരു എക്സോ പ്ലാനെറ്റിന്റെ നേരിട്ടുള്ള വിശദമായ ചിത്രമെടുക്കാൻ 90,000 കിലോമീറ്റർ വ്യാസമുള്ള ഒരു ടെലിസ്കോപ് വേണം.
എന്നാൽ 14,00,000 കിലോമീറ്റർ വ്യാസമുള്ള ടെലെസ്കോപ് ഉണ്ടാക്കാനുള്ള പദ്ധതിക്കുക്കു നാസ അനുമതി കൊടുത്തു കഴിഞ്ഞു. അതെങ്ങനെ ഉണ്ടാക്കും എന്ന് ഈ വീഡിയോ വഴി കണ്ടു നോക്കാം

Very good concept. Gravitational Lensing is mentioning in Last few videos. I never thought it will have this much great application.
One question, if we extending this thaught even more, can we find a focal point in 1 AU so that we can capture ligts by sitting in earth itself.
I gues there is possibility because when a light which pass enough nearer to sun, can bend to make enough focal length of 1AU.
Here higher difficulty will be there to block lights from sun and isolate the bended lights.
Is our technology grown sufficient for this?
