Thank you for helping me get healthier. I look forward to exercising w/you everyday. This is a first for me! 😊😊
3 years ago I started a health journey and 2 years ago I started using your workouts to increase my cardio and strength fitness (up from walking and hiking) I didn't follow the series properly at first but redid it as per your suggestions. Along with other lifestyle changes this program helped me get to where I am today! Age 68- 44 kilos down (96 lbs) cardio fitness of someone in their 40's. I still have a bit to go (in my opinion) as far as strength and balance but I am getting there. I love the no talking and the text on screen. I can listen to my own music.Thank you! You helped save my life or add to it at least! I'm still doing level 4 of intervals with bits of series 3 for the rest.
Oh WOW! You have come such a long way in the past 3 years, Carol! I am absolutely ecstatic for you and for the years you have added to your life. Thank you for letting me be part of your journey to improved health.😉Amazing! Kudos to you for working so hard to get to where you are today.
That one was great! I’m 74 and when I reached the end of the intervals, I was proud! I was also pooped but it was a good pooped as I know I’ll sleep well tonight! Thanks for all your hard work!😍
If you're 74 and completing this workout, you are in phenomenal shape and I am so happy to read that you are proud. You absolutely should be! You know, when I originally created the interval workouts I created them for all ages since the intervals can really be catered to so many different fitness levels. I thought I would get 20-60 year olds doing these workouts. People can choose to walk instead of run, etc. But I have to say, I have had my eyes opened by so many seniors who are way more fit than I expected. I love it. There is so much hope for seniors to be strong and fit, well into their 70's, 80's and 90's if they consistently work out and take care of themselves and you are proof of that. Age is not an excuse to get weak and have falls...it is up to each and every individual to continue to exercise and to get strong and remain strong. Kudos to you, Pam for taking care of yourself. Honestly, you rock. When I get into my 70's, I hope I can still do these! I am definitely going to try! 💪
I stopped exercising for a while. Then I came across this video. It's fun and I enjoyed doing halfway as a starter. I plan to build up everyday. Thank you 💓 much.
This is one of my favourite (until now) workouts from you. It is amazing all the work you take to make such a good videos. Everything about them is perfect. Cant tell you how much I appreciate your work and dedication ! So grateful ! ❤
@@ImprovedHealth You are most welcome !! ...btw I am trying to find standing abs exercises in your channel , do you have made one like that ? Thanks a lot again !!
Had a heart event a year and a half ago. Was afraid to start working out again. Yours was the first video I tried but only made it 10 minutes. Now, I'm up to 50 minutes a day. Thank you!
Oh WOW! I am thrilled to read that you have worked up to 50 minutes a day! A massive kudos to you for starting slow, and working up to more time when you were ready. Awesome!
Another rewarding workout! Grateful when you encourage us by counting down how many intervals we've done, and how few remain. It's inspiring to read the comments from others who are also in their 70s completing the HIIT sessions. Thank you Jules and all your healthy fans.
Thanks so much for the feedback about counting down the intervals. I’ll keep that in mind for future workouts. In regards to the active seniors completing these, I 100% agree. There are definitely more fit seniors out there than I realized and it makes me so happy to see so many people in their 70’s continue to lead active lifestyles. Absolutely inspiring! It goes to show us that age shouldn’t stop us.
I’m 73yrs old, and I only found your site two weeks ago, I’m trying all of them, to see which I am most comfortable with. I did the one for seniors and beginners this morning. I’ve also done some of the Hitt. . I’m okay with the no talking, enjoyed the kick boxing. Sad to say I’ve no rythm, so can’t quite dance , but I really do enjoy myself. Thank you so much.
After strength is cardio! I wasn't sure I was going to make it all the way through after strength...but your smiling face and words of encouragement helped me get through all of those intervals. Have a great Sunday 🤗
Have done this workout two nights in a row. I really like the pace of it. A couple of times, I did sixty jog, thirty walk, thirty jog. But still moving ay. Thank you Jules, every group of exercises I have tried is great and I have tried many now.
When I started working out with you, I never could have done 10 intervals. Today, I handled it all the way through and feel great! Not bad for age 78. Thanks for continuing to provide us with variety and good advice.
Absolutely down right AMAZING for your young age of 78. Gosh, Marcia, I wish some 20 something year olds would witness how energetic and healthy you are. You're an absolute inspiration. This is a tough workout and you rocked it. Kudos to you!!! 💪
Morning Jules. I've gone back to these interval walking workouts because they help me with weight loss & to feel energized every morning. Thanks for so many awesome workouts!
I can't believe I haven't done this one before! I wasn't sure that I could do all 10 intervals but I did it. I heard some different music in this one and really liked it because it was so upbeat and energized me. Thanks so much Jules!

Creating the music to work with the intervals is the time consuming part of creating these ones but I will get to it at some point soon. I love intervals as well since they are quick workouts and super effective.
I’m doing this twice a week and your 20 min strength video with compound workout twice a week and other days for walking outside. I hope I’m doing it right 😅.
Rainy morning in LA. Let's see what Jules has up her sleeves. Great new workout. Just what I need to start the week on the right foot (or both). Thanks for taking care of our health and making it fun on top of it.
Ah, lovely LA. Lucky you to be in a warm place…we all need rain sometime. I’m sure the sun will be shining for you again tomorrow:) I hope you enjoyed the workout!
This is one of the most challenging workouts I have on my channel since it's part of series 4 of the interval training workouts. Intervals definitely bump up anyone's fitness level! Ideally, try to do intervals twice a week.
Fantastic workout as always! I have to admit to dancing between each interval…the music is that good! Thanks for getting this sedentary 64 yr old up and moving again. Look forward to working out with you everyday! ❤️😁
I am SO happy to read you were dancing in between the intervals...that is perfect. It says you're really enjoying the music and enjoying yourself as you exercise. Music definitely has a wonderful way of lifting our moods and making us want to move. 'See' you tomorrow for the next workout:)
Loved this workout … had been doing beginners only and felt it was time to intensify my workout. Love the interval method …. And the inspirational words you put to keep pushing myself. Thank you for doing this
Intervals are my go-to. Anytime I feel I need to improve my fitness I do intervals since they can be quick workouts and are super effective. I am happy to read you enjoyed them, too.
Thank you again for this easier w/o....perfect for a slow Sunday😊..plan to do a heavier strength... later in the evening. Hope you have a splendid sabbath❤
I really enjoyed this exercising it keeps me active and the music is lovely i have lost 7 stone 8 by doing exercises and slimming world so thank you 😊😊
Dear Jules. I want to thank you again for keeping me motivated and fit with your videos these past several months. I am truly appreciative of how much they have helped me get back to good health from my post-shingles injuries. I not only enjoy re-doing your videos, but I value the new ones you bring to us! The only question I have is, how do you know when 30 seconds is up? We see the timer in the corner, but how do you know when to change over to the new exercise? I am always amazed…Thank you again!
Lol, it's not always perfect and this one was a challenge since I had to stop this video when I was into it at the 10 minute mark. Somehow one song didn't record so I had to stop the timer and music and restart. Hitting the timer and music perfectly is a challenge in itself so I had to improvise a bit on this video. To answer your question, I have an Ipad with a timer beside the camera so I can see the countdown in front of me:)
@@ImprovedHealth thank you for the explanation! I can imagine that there are challenges! But, even so, you navigate them well! And you are also wonderful about being open about your vulnerabilities! I appreciate that you are truly human with us! Thank you again for all that you do for us.
Thank you, this was a great HIIT workout for me! I will look for your other HIIT workouts. I liked how you explained how many days a week to do cardio v. HIIT v. Strength training. It is difficult to do strength at home, because I only have a few hand weights and bands. I have not been back to the YMCA since COVID, and don’t see that I will return soon. Anyway, thanks again.
And...weights are so pricey these days, too! I'm amazing at how much they have gone up in price. But, if you can manage it, having some heavier weights would be beneficial. I'll be doing a resistance band workout soon:)
Enjoyed this new workout with you, Jules...the format was doable, with the longer rest intervals, and the peppy music! Thank you. Also appreciate the tips on planning an ideal week..☺
Hi Jules! I looked at my last comment and saw that I did this one a year ago. I really liked it then and really like it now! A lot of good movement, good music and the icing on the cake was floor stretches - yay! Than you!
Dear Jules, I love your workouts and have been following them starting from series one up till sesries 4. I love the way they are structured, love your music and your moest conduct. Do you have more workouts for series 4 other than option 1 and option 2? Best regards, Galit ( from Israel)
Hi! I don't have new ones created, yet to follow series 4. If you go to my playlists, you'll see intermediate workouts which would be the most closely related to the intervals. The all-in-ones are great workouts for getting strength exercises in as well. I am hoping to get more time this fall to create some more 7 days series.
@@ImprovedHealth Thank you so much for your answer. Once again, I enjoy every minute wourking out with you, gaining strength and hopefully, losing some weight...😀 Best regards.💕
That is great that you slowed down. The wonderful thing about intervals is that each person can go at their OWN pace...the pace that is best for YOU. By going at your own pace you'll enjoy it more but will still reap the benefits.
Thank you for the feedback about the floor exercises. The best stretch you can do for your hamstrings would be seated in a chair with your leg straight out in front, then hinge at the hips to go forward. You will definitely feel the stretch in the back of your legs.
These work outs with you enrich my life on many dimensions Jules, thank you. On another note, is there any avenue for me to credit card a small donation? Thanks.
Thanks so much, Jeanine for thinking of me. I have a paypal account set up which is safe for donating. I have just set up Patreon as well but I am still waiting for them to approve the account. You can find my paypal link in the description under my most recent videos. Please let me know if you can't find it. THANK YOU so much. 💖
Hi! I'll add a link for you with the stretching routines so you can access them more easily. With the intermediate level workouts, I often do the standing stretches, and with the gentle and beginner level workouts, I often do seated stretches. ruclips.net/p/PLsPoR5SimhuW3teQldnmj2bpY6t8sVUn5
@@ImprovedHealth. THANK YOU! I, too, am learning to enjoy these non-verbal workouts! This one was fabulous and really made me push myself … thanks again for the link for standing stretches!
Hi jules I'm on series 4 I've done options 1 and 2 i was just wondering if it goes up to option 7 ? I've done all the other series 1 2 3 and really enjoyed them all. I'm going to do all the dance ones now. Since I've been working out i feel really better in my self. and that's thanks to you. ❤😊xxx
Thanks Jean! I'm so glad that you've enjoyed them. With series 4, I felt that people might want to choose their own workouts on the non-interval workout days. Ideally, continue to do 2 interval training days a week and for the other days, do at least 2 strength training days and then cardio on the other days (you can do cardio and strength on the same day, too). It all depends on how much time you have to work out.
Thank you ,I really like your programmes .I notice some of the workouts on tube are really dodgy with no thought for safety ,especially for older people
I create a variety of workouts from gentle to beginner to intermediate. It’s really up to the person following to determine their level. I started with creating gentle workouts but over time had lots of older adults ask for more challenging workouts. I create what is requested. If you go to the gentle level playlists, my hope is you might enjoy those ones. This one you’re responding to is in the intermediate level category (one of the hardest ones). I break them all down into levels in the playlists and on my website at www.improvedhealthforseniors.com
Hi Jules. I'm looking through all your videos. Am I missing some or are there more than two Series #4 videos? I can't find any others. I love all these intervals & looking for more. Thanks! Gail
Hi Gail, sorry for the confusion. Since there were 3 series with almost full 7 day workouts to follow, I felt by series 4 people might want to choose their own workouts on the non-interval days. Just so you know, I always put information under the video (in the description), and when I remember, I also put the links to the other videos for the series to make it easier for people to find the corresponding videos. For interval workouts, it's best to only do them twice a week since they are tough workouts (that is if you are pushing yourself as hard as you can during the fast intervals). On the other days, ideally choose 2-3 strength workouts a week, 1 longer cardio workout a week (longer than your normal workout time), and on the other days just choose your regular cardio workout time (whatever that might be). I hope that helps.
Bonjour Jules, à la fin d'un de vos vidéos vous écrivez "thank you for joining me" et bien moi je vous encore merci pour tous ces exercices que vous nous permettez de faire avec vous de façon sécuritaire pour ne pas qu'on se blesse. Have a great Day. Lucie
Thank you! Welcome to my channel! Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) and categorize them all into the playlists. If you enjoyed this one, you can find plenty more at this same level under the 'intermediate level' playlists. I hope you enjoy more of the workouts when you try them out.
I didn’t create the whole 7 day series this time. For series 1-3, there is a full 7 days (can find them in the playlists). I find that a lot of people weren’t able to get to the other workouts I created due to sticking to the 7 day series x 4 weeks as I recommended. In this series, I am recommending people do two interval workouts a week (I will put out the second interval training option next week). My recommendation for strength training depends on your comfort and experience with strength training. The last one I put out last week would be a great option. For the other 2-3 days of the week I would like to recommend one long cardio workout (45-60 minutes), and then either 1-2 days of a shorter cardio workout (your choice). You could have one rest day or do a short (20-30 min) cardio workout. I hope that helps!
The spring in every step you take, during the entire workout, even when you are dewy......the icing on a classily put together session....faultless!!!👏👏 Is it alright to sip water between a strength/ cardio workout, or is it better to wait till after cool- down? Have a great day, Jules....
Love your comment:) It is totally okay to drink water whenever you feel like it during the workout...there is no wrong time to hydrate (unless you're running a marathon)! I drink a lot of water throughout my day so I'm already quite hydrated before I start. Great to drink when you need to during the workout and then drink lots after as well.

Thank you! And yes, you definitely are getting in a great cardio workout with this one (this is likely the hardest workout I have on my channel).
Thank you again for this easier w/o....perfect for a slow Sunday😊..plan to do a heavier strength... later in the evening.
Hope you have a splendid sabbath❤
Easier workout? This is a tough one, Anuradha. I guess that says you are getting stronger and more fit:)
@@ImprovedHealth i do hope so, Jules...all thanks to you.....No, this had 30s intervals as against 120, hence ...easier😁
Great workout, really enjoyed the trackers, they kept me motivated. Thanks!
I really enjoyed this exercising it keeps me active and the music is lovely i have lost 7 stone 8 by doing exercises and slimming world so thank you 😊😊
Amazing! Kudos to you for all of your hard work to get to where you are today.💪
Awesome workout to get you ready for the next level.
Thanks for letting me know that you enjoyed it, Sandra.💖
I really enjoy your workout videos. You have a calming presence about you as well. Thank you!
Aww, thank you Karen. I appreciate your comment.
Enjoyed this new workout with you, Jules...the format was doable, with the longer rest intervals, and the peppy music! Thank you.
Also appreciate the tips on planning an ideal week..☺
Thanks for you comment...and happy to hear you enjoyed it:)
Boa tarde!E obrigada por mais uma aula🎉🎉
Thanks for joining me!
Once again, I enjoy every minute wourking out with you, gaining strength and hopefully, losing some weight...😀
Best regards.💕
Fantastic! Every time it said GET READY, I got a huge smile on my face and excited energy!😃✨. Thank you!🙌🤩
That's great feedback, thank you Sandi! I LOVE that instead of fretting the next interval, you got excited instead.💪
Woweeeeee this one’s great too! Thank you! 😘🥳👍🥰
Lol, thank you, Trish!
Another great workout! You put much thought, effort, and heart into these and it shows. Thanks again!
Thanks for saying that, Pattie.🫂
This was great. First time, so, slowed down a bit, but, will continue
That is great that you slowed down. The wonderful thing about intervals is that each person can go at their OWN pace...the pace that is best for YOU. By going at your own pace you'll enjoy it more but will still reap the benefits.
Holy Toledo! That was hard but great!!! Thank you!!!
Lol, this is one of the most challenging ones on my site…and you did it!
@@ImprovedHealth Only because you are a very inspirational person! Thank you for being you!
Awesome!!!! Thank you.
Great workout! I have a hard time getting on the floor though, so I wasn't sure how to do the equivalent exercises standing!
Thank you for the feedback about the floor exercises. The best stretch you can do for your hamstrings would be seated in a chair with your leg straight out in front, then hinge at the hips to go forward. You will definitely feel the stretch in the back of your legs.
Hi 😀 So that's the start of my week 2. Feels good 😃 Thank you Julie 😊
You chose a tough one! Congrats for completing it!
@@ImprovedHealth Thank you 😊
Hard works, i am so proud. Many thanks to your wonderful workout! I missing the "gong" while streching! Excuse my horrible englisch!
Thanks for your feedback, Renate. This is an older video so I didn't use the bell at that time.
I LOVE your workouts but can you please give some chair stretches at end as I cannot get on the floor any more. Thank youg❤
Hi! I'll add a link for you with the stretching routines so you can access them more easily. With the intermediate level workouts, I often do the standing stretches, and with the gentle and beginner level workouts, I often do seated stretches.

@@ImprovedHealth. THANK YOU! I, too, am learning to enjoy these non-verbal workouts! This one was fabulous and really made me push myself … thanks again for the link for standing stretches!
Jules Wow love the music and the intervals
Thank you.
Thank you! I am happy to read you enjoyed the music. Making the playlists is the hardest part of the whole process of making these videos!
Great workout
Great music and workout - thank you!
Thanks Kim ❤️
Loving these video workouts
Thanks Debbie!

This one is my favorite!
Thanks for letting me know:) It's definitely a heart-pounding workout!
Whooeee!! I did it!! Yay me!! thank you for theworkout.
Yes, yay you!!!❤️
Great workout.
Love your interval training workouts🦵🏽❤️
They are tough but so effective!
Jules...so far so good, this will be my Monday w/o for the next 4 weeks...have a super day...God Bless...Anne
It's a tougher workout! Good choice, Anne:)
@Improved Health hi jules thank you for your help it makes sense. i will do that I'm so grateful for your help. Xx
Ah, I just reread your message and I read it wrong.😳 You do like the intermediate level after all:)
I did the 1000 steps and really liked it but my body was tired for two day!@@ImprovedHealth
So NICE...👍
Me fascino el estiramiento
Great workout!
Thanks Patty!
I like this one!
Thank you!
I love this thankyou x
Thanks Janet!
Bonjour Jules, à la fin d'un de vos vidéos vous écrivez "thank you for joining me" et bien moi je vous encore merci pour tous ces exercices que vous nous permettez de faire avec vous de façon sécuritaire pour ne pas qu'on se blesse. Have a great Day. Lucie
Merci beaucoup, Lucie.
It's very very good!! Thank you,
Warm greetings from Uruguay!
Thank you Lilian!
Muito bom o treino Deus abençoe 🙏🏽♥️
❤ today start!!
Great i proud my self
Oh, I love reading that you are proud of yourself! It’s a tough one!
Very beautiful thanks for your work
Thank you Amal:)
I enjoyed this workout!!! Do you have a set up for a 6 day workout plan that work cardio, walking & weight training ? Thank you, Just wondering
@@ImprovedHealth OK thank you, I will look for them
The spring in every step you take, during the entire workout, even when you are dewy......the icing on a classily put together session....faultless!!!👏👏
Is it alright to sip water between a strength/ cardio workout, or is it better to wait till after cool- down?
Have a great day, Jules....
Love your comment:) It is totally okay to drink water whenever you feel like it during the workout...there is no wrong time to hydrate (unless you're running a marathon)! I drink a lot of water throughout my day so I'm already quite hydrated before I start. Great to drink when you need to during the workout and then drink lots after as well.
@@ImprovedHealth Thank you for the clarification........need t drink more water myself 🙂
LOVE IT JULES!!! THANK YOU...BLESSINGS...MA MA G 💝

hahahahah...I laughed when you got on the floor. Wish I could.
I hear that a lot which is why I don't usually put floor exercises in my workouts. 😉
