Your videos keep getting better and better each time. My fave part was watching you harvest your potatoes, tomatoes and beets. That's a huge inspiration for us who want to start growing our own food. Thank you!
It's the best feeling ever when you harvest something you grew yourself, and it tastes so much better. I couldn't help but smile watching you harvest those potatoes, I can't wait to do some next year.
100% yes to everyone working as a server (or other customer service positions)!!! Such an important life skill. And I totally get the pure joy of digging potatoes - one of my favorite garden jobs. ☺️
One thing I NEVER thought I would say is...I actually like tofu now. I used to HATE tofu so I just didn't really eat it. I'd eat it once in a while if I felt I had a really good recipe (like your lasagna). But I tried it recently completely raw and unseasoned and it didn't taste bad. I actually didn't mind the flavor. I know taste buds can change over time but this one took me by surprise.
You must have been HUNGRY! Haha, just joking. Glad to hear, and yes that lasagna is so good!
I find different brands taste better than others, so that may have something to do with it also? Tofu is the best!
@@xxxmellsbellsxxx That could be. I'm pretty sure I got the kind I had before but maybe not. There was a long period of time where my store didn't sell any tofu at all.
i just noticed that too! i used to always try tofu prepared in different ways, expecting it to grow on me, only to go "yeah still not my thing." but now one of my favorite foods right now has been unpressed, unmarinated, extra firm tofu, cubed up real small and pan fried in a little oil. so good in pasta!!!

Also, I 100% agree everyone should work in services for some time - otherwise you're just so unaware that the other person is actually a human too and has emotions, struggles with stuff sometimes, makes mistakes etc.
Bananas and peanut butter are a match made in heaven, one of my go-to food duos for the past 2 or so years. Whether it's for a smoothie, sandwich, or a bowl of oatmeal, they always go great together.

I love your potato harvest. 😊 They are my favorite thing to grow because the harvest is sooo fun. I planted 10 and harvested 120 three months later my first year. 😁

I enjoy your videos even though I am not your regular viewer. I am almost 75 but learn things from you. I started watching when you explained the benefits of different nutrients. I watch Chef AJ every day and I think you should contact her. you would be good on her show. She likes vegans, especially whole food plant based, no oil. The audience loves to here your story of becoming vegan, what you do, eat, etc. she does not like to reach out to people because she does not like rejection. But write her and tell one if her viewers suggested you contact her. Her audience would love you. Send her this video. It was a great mix of things, along with the love of animals.
