Thank you sir. I needed a refresher and will use a paperclip going forward instead of jamming my prongs into the backside. I found that 0.48 gives me a high idle. I wonder why this is. Brand new IACV too.
Thank you very much for the video.. I have a 2003 model K20 Accord and I set the tps value to 0.5, it was working with a little vibration when the gear was in D position. My friend also has a 2005 model of the same vehicle. The factory tps value was 0.7, why is this so? I also set the tps to 0.7 in my own vehicle, the transmission makes a slight knock when slowing down.. What is the original factory value?
@@tanerdemirci8636 0.5 dir hocam normali ,fakat arkadaşım 2005 2.0 var ölçtüm 0.7 çıktı .. Ben 0.7 yapınca araç durmaya yakın silkeleme yapmaya başladı geri 0.5 e çektim
Good morning boss, my car is a Honda Fit 08 cvt, I cleaned the TBI, but now it's shaking when I put on the reverse with an AC on, I put the multimeter on TPS and it is reading 0.51 v closed and 4.58 open. Do you think it good ?
Black smoke always makes me suspect engine damage possible bad rings or burning oil from head into combustion chamber. The volts should be higher if I’m not mistaken for a 650cc bike under load, but it’s hard to diagnose without actually being there.
So today I literally watcher this video 10 times or more. When I get it set to 0.50 I can't get it to say 4.50 when the throttle is open all the way. It's impossible. I'm wondering is there a way to loosen the pull lever to get some more space .. when I open the throttle all the way it like 3.7 or 3.8
It’s okay man sometimes the tps just won’t reach 4.5 as long as it’s close but if it’s way out of spec and causes acceleration issue then I would replace the tps itself. Again it’s okay if it not perfect because electric tps especially aftermarket is never 💯%
@@systemunderground if your throttle response isn’t acting correctly and you’ve e tried adjusting it a few times, the TPS can be faulty it happens all the time with aftermarket parts, if you can afford OEM that’s the best way to go.
Very nice video. no music, no bs. very informative.
Very important,no annoying noise, very good video, thanks I going to try my.
I had to replace my TPS and Throttle Body TB. Your blog/Video was very helpful. Please continue with this great material.
Excellent video: simple, detailed, all of the essential wires to test and results.
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for your video, I am going to do this procedure before I gonna buy the tps for remplacement.
Thanks for dropping this
Thank you so much you are very helpful my first time trying to replace this on my own
Nice keep on going GOD bless you and your family

Ne yazmıssın bilmiyorum ama tahminim sizde TPS sensörü sorunu yaşıyorsunuz

What symptoms were you having with a bad tps?
Some symptoms of a bad tps sensor are check engine light, jerking, poor acceleration, no acceleration, high or low idle issues
What symptoms did you have that lead to this diagnostic test
Sporadic idle, and very laggy or jumpy throttle response
Awesome

my motorcycle reads 2.5Volt in close position 😪 inline 4 650. sudden engine stall , black smoke what could be the reason

What if my battery is located in the back? Where can i hook up the negative wire?
can hook it on shortbody wire or directly to car body for -ve terminal.
Any ground on the body of the car is considered a good ground
Do the car have to running?
No just key in ignition on the on position

Very clear and informative. should the ignition be on?
Yes ignition should be (ON) with engine off
Mine is at .50 at closed throttle and 4.25 at wot. Any help?
Yes the tps is either installed wrong or broken. Try removing it and seeing if it damaged, if it is replace it and calibrate it.
0.5V at closed throttle is perfect setting.
4.25V at WOT is acceptable, thou 4.5V is preferred.
👍 nice

Is the car completely on when u check the voltage? I tried touching my red wire of the voltemeter to the red wire of the tps but I got no signal
Key on engine off
Does the key have to be in on to get power to the connector? Good video
Yes have the key in the on position
Vehicle gotta be on?
Yes have the key in the on position
What if I can’t get to a 0.5 ?
It’s okay get as close to it as possible, after your done take it for a test drive. To check for any issues
@@builtjfilion934if thr lowest I can get is 1.2v is my tps failing already?

K24 element same numbers-??
I replaced the tps, then I followed the video and the idle is running high. How can I get them back to normal?
Sometimes when you tighten it it moves so check and adjust as needed
Mine does not go up to 5v when i open the throttle
It’s not supposed to. Open throttle is 4.5 volts, closed throttle is .5 or (1/2) volt. Watch your decimal points.
The screws are JIS or Japan Industry Standard, not Phillips. Buy the correct screwdriver, and things will go better.
Mine reads 1.5 volts
You might need to recalibrate your tps, it all depends on your set up.
Bungie chord doesn't bother me a bit, but that ground.....ooooof......bro.
Thank goodness the cars totaled now lol
Thats was up
Gracias 👍
