Did you have to use the accord stuff instead of the tl? I ask because I have a complete 04 6mt car
If your donor car is an accord with 3.2 TL motor like mines all the accord 3.0 stuff works including ecu for 3.0 engine.
Man can you please do a write up i need pointers
@@gavinmcclure8047 I’ll have to do a write up for sure! I did this with all oem accord parts cluster, ignition switch, transponder key, ecu all programmed from donor car so saved a lot of money! Don’t forget the complete harness front to back just cut and change pigtails for the cars lights tails and headlights to your car swapping too. Remove traction control fuses so it doesn’t cut the throttle off on you during burn outs ect. There’s a lot to it but just make sure all your grounds are connected properly
Gotta 2015 and I cannot do this what cost am I looking at
@@annasmessyart at least 2-300 at the dealership but it can be replaced for cheaper if you know someone handy with cars.
on the injection rail i can see two hose for return, a little one and a big one, which one is acting as return for fuel ?
Doubt there was anything wrong with that motor, was it just out of balance due to the rat?
@@user-kr6tl9kr1v you right but I took it out and replaced it anyways, that’s what the dealership wanted 🤷♂️
Thx man , the fun part for me it’s winter and it’s sounds like it’s going 😅 better change it or I will have to use a camping stove to warm the car up 😅😅😅
I have a 98 civic lx with the d16y7 motor and was looking to upgrade to the skunk2 pro series intaje manifold that kinda looks like yours. Did u have to move any parts to make it fit? Or is it just swap for swap
the clutch pedal is also from s2000??
Worst designed modern door. Cheap material and garbage clips.
Awesome thank you. Very easy job 👍🙂
Thank you for watching!!! 💪
Thank you. How to know which censor to replace (2 censors) ? As soon as the car turn on in morning, the fan just turn on.
was this to fix any warning lights on the car or just general maintenance?
@@austin.30 yes egr cel you can clean the ports and replace the egr sensor.
Great job. Thanks!
My son has a tl with the j32a3 and and 6speed trans and everything plans to swap everything in a eg sedan like your doing
@@tammymcclure2170 yes if he has a donor TL where he can take everything out of that’s a great start for a budget build. My build is a budget build and it uses the entire accord wire harness, fuse boxes, ECU and transponder, key and ignition. With all this if the car currently runs, you can take everything from the TL and put it in the EG of course there’s wiring things you have to overcome for headlights tail lights, and traction control. Traction control is an easy fix by removing the 40 amp fuse on the fuse box and any other fuses associated with traction control. Good luck with your swap if you have any questions, feel free to reach out on Instagram @ BuiltJ
What transmisson are you running?
@@tammymcclure2170 I ran a 2004 non lsd transmission off accord broke the casing and I’m now running a LSD TL transmission 2004
Wonderful video man, are these motor mounts good? Do they absorb vibration well? What is their brand?
Thank you
@@Lonewolf-gr2nh thanks for wathcing
Holy shit a rat!??? Yeah
lol yea nasty stuff 🤮

use a weighted 17mm with an impact for the crank bolt! will take it off instantly

Those bolts came of the ac front bracket
Sound like it was freeezing ! Lmaooo Honda’ing in the cold is treacherous 😅
Good evening Can I kindly ask you how long it takes to do the change? Thank you
@@estermarinlozano4414 yeah about 1 hour each side for an experienced tech maybe 2 hours each side for someone learning
Am changing my right side soon. Ty for the video
Thank you sir. I needed a refresher and will use a paperclip going forward instead of jamming my prongs into the backside. I found that 0.48 gives me a high idle. I wonder why this is. Brand new IACV too.
I wish my interior was all black tbh that looks so much cleaner than the tan bs
Thanks dude
Lx is the base model, abs was an option (I've had two lx models, one with abs)
Thats was up
Man, forget wrenching, become a full time RUclips “how to” video maker ….. brilliant!
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching 💪
Hey bro in one of your videos you said your running all accord dash harness, ecu and engine harness on your j32a3( Acura tl), just wanted how’s it’s running? Any major problems, plug and play? wanting to do the same
@@meihlanmontesdeoca5890 yes I used accord coupe complete harness and cluster ect ecu it works great. Used original key and ecu
I just kept original fuse boxes and took out the traction control fuse I think it was a 40 amp
thanks man you helped out a lot !!!
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching
You can tell this guy actually works on his vehicles a lot, because he used GRAVITY to push DOWNWARD to break the axle nut loose. I see sooooo many "mechanics" making DIY videos, and they constantly struggle.... pulling upwards.... hahaha

Where is the resistor located?
@@quintinbuchanan3731 should be connected to blower motor but do your research. It might be elsewhere
Hey man just wondering is all the spray paint heat resistant ? Looking to do some brushwork on A cover but unsure about what paints I could use
No the paint used was not heat resistant but it lasted about 2 years before flaking due to heat

So much easier, logical and practical than modern cars that need to be warmed up, put into maintenance mode, plugged to a computer, navigate menu just to check the level, repeat to recheck, taking 10x times longer, costs 10x times more and 10x prone to get it wrong. This one you can pr
So how do we keep these ball joints greased after replacing? I didn't realize how many parts you're supposed to grease over the years. My poor u joint...
I’m swapping my civic with j32a3 I have drive shaft from insane shafts but not sure what half shaft I need. What half shaft did you use?
I noticed no one is changing the inner bearing race that is on the spindle. Is it too difficult? I thought it would have the wear of all the miles still.
You do an awesome job describing the process a++ video brother i appreciate it
How did u go about running that style idle air control valve. Bec my oem one was not the same style or the same plug.
Fun tip you can re fill the fluid by taking off the vss and pouring it through the top
Dude thanks, great vid

After researching specifications numerous of times, I’ve gathered 180ft/lbs was true, changed mine on my 98 rwd, and 20 miles down the road, heard a noise, pulled up and absolutely smoked the new bearing, cherry red and melted the center cap on my wheels. Thanks for the video, changing it out again tomorrow, 20 ft/lbs 😅

would you know if this applies to the 2020 model too?
