Xavier isn't it possible to play a "little bit" with the shutterspeed for a zero lichtning and stil have a nice cinematic shoot. ?
so when i have a framrate of 25 and i shoot 1/50 and my meter says +0.5 is it good to go to 1/60 or 1/70 ??

One of my friend using the CPL filter, but as the drone rising and the xamera tilted, the footage captured flickered...
That is due to the polarization effect changes at different angle.
Now I wonder if I should get the normal ND filters or the ND filters with PL.

Re: the polarising ones, do these have a dial on? Ive heard other reviews saying the polarising lenses are pointles on a drone cos they are very position specific?
But ive had polarising sunglasses that dont need adjusting?!

Hi Mark, in my (humble) opinion, ND for video, polarised for photos (static shots, set up, like real estate) so you can benefit from a static set up to eradicate reflected light (like your sunglasses) 😉

Hard to find a lot of ND filters for mavic mini in stock right now. Have you ever tried Skyreat ND filters?
Great tutorial, just had a question about how the tax free drone works in your description?
You may be able to help me. I have the Fstoplab variable ND filters for the mavic Air 2 and whenever I use them, I get the gimbal overload popping up on my phone... I've calibrated my gimbal and still having the same issue. Do you know how to fix this?

I just bought some filters, and the gimbal starts shaking. Have you experienced this? I feel like I can't use them because I loose all steadiness in the shot
Pls explain how you catch the Mini in your hand.
Is it legal to be flying in the cemetery? It’s a crowded area...
Was trying to test some ND filters on my mini and the flight modes seems to become unselectable on the app. As soon as I took them off it was back to normal.
Also when flying at night are you basically risking not having some features on the app because of low light warnings?
Most flight modes do not work until you take off.
When you take off in a night, you can still do most of what you do in the day.
Be careful when flying at night.

I've ordered the MA2 with the FlyMore combo so it comes with ND filters, the MA2 is my first drone so I'm not sure what I'm doing tbh, will you be doing vids on the MA2?

I got my all day “Freewell’s” this weekend also. Use the filters when the sun is at its highest point in the sky then you won’t have to switch out filters. On non cloudy days of course

There may be problems with rear propellers. There are some toutube videos about the problem

It's called UAV Forecast.
what is the brand name on the filters?
Fstop Labs, as far as I can see. Found them on Amazon but am not yet convinced.
So, to get from the original shutter speed to the target, you divide the original number by the target number - that number would be the desired ND filter number.

Anyone notice that those Skyreat Filters are not very secure on the camera. They can fall off when you have the drone in hand. Equals possible lost filter!!
I used them up to today to film my next video & they are holding on very good for me so far.

@@xavier_arthur well I have had a set fire couple of weeks, but noticed if the drone is inverted in your hand while carrying this happens. They seem fine as long as the drone is upright, but flip the drone upside down has created issues for me with the filter falling off... Go Figure!!!

Dear Sir, No disrespect but don't you know that you are flying your drone in restricted airspace? There is no permission for you to fly your drone there. You can't just go by what Kitty Hawk says. There are city, state, and local laws as well. There are only 5 places to fly your drone in N.Y. City legally. Also, you are breaking the rule of having a Visual Line of Sight at all times with your drone. Beware that the FAA is looking at all this drone footage on RUclips. Last week, they gave a guy a fine of $180'000.00 for doing what you are doing. Please follow the FAA rules because you are making it hard for people who want to fly legally. FYI- New York City-City Restriction // 2017 This city restriction declares that drones are illegal to fly in New York City and advises anyone who sees a drone being flown to call 911. This includes Coney Island and all NYC Cemetarys in the 5 boroughs.
