What I really appreciate about your videos is that you use the drone to assess your safety and obstacles, and plan your shot before you commit to anything. I'm sure a lot of people simply forget to "look" before they fly which results in a lot of crashes. Great stuff!

My 1st flight was a week ago, of course, Il egot it caught in a tree, luckily was at my mothers, and the tree is literally the biggest around, haha. So I couldnt find with the leaves and shit. So I was checking alll around the tree everyday!! Yup, 5 days later, which was 2 days ago, we had a Tropical storm come up from FLA, im in MA, usa. Sure as shit, the next morning, it was resting on th grass. I dried it out, carefully and back practicing. Definitely, need lots of practice, but your details tutelage is spot on!!!!!!! Great video! As a brand new drone owner with the mini this was very helpful. I don’t know how else to describe it besides your voice sounds very friendly. Some people sound very nervous or the exact opposite and very fake. You sounded like we’re just having a beer and telling me how you do things. Not a bunch of unnecessary info. Very great video.

Purchased a Mavic Mini a few days ago because of its portability. I have a Phantom 4 that has pretty much been in the closet. I am watching tons of Mini videos and came upon yours. SO we have some guy sitting in his car doing videos. Then I noticed this guy was actually flying his drone while he was talking. I watched one video then another and then another. I do not understand how so many videos are about how to turn the Mini on while yours actually teach and demonstrate what a person should and needs to know. Yes the DJI fly app comes with a few transitions like fade in, fade out and dissolve. Just click on the transition box between the two clips and select the transition of your choice. Great video. Have you noticed when adding a title it only lets you use so many characters? Think the limit was 10 or less. Do you know if there is a way to make the title longer?
6:30 When flying backwards while shooting a reveal shot, stuff keeps revealing. Stuff comes into the shot as you fly backwards. This keeps the shot interesting.

Thanks man, just got 1st drone 2wks ago which went from taking back my 200 drone, to a 300 drone and again taking back until i purchased the DJI mavic mini which in my world ( for moment at least 😁👍🏻) was the top side for just starting. But to point ,enjoyed your video , very much helpful. Now as far end with editing was like WOW overload to me but for someone that has 0 idea how these videos come out definitely gave me good start & a huge understanding in what goes into them. Sure it’s like riding a bike once you get use to ,but for me has open up a new world. I can see how this hobby has no limitations and will challenge most any age & looking very forward to exploring it. Thank you for the info & enjoyment in watching.

I love your videos. I've just recently purchased a Mavic Mini so brand new to flying and needed some quality instructional videos geared to newbies. I just wanted something to help me capture footage to share with family and friends. So far I love my mini and your channel is helping me have so much fun with this little gem.

One question though can you do any transitions? Fade in, fade out or a dissolve?
Gianni going iMovie works great for that what you are asking. Right in the phone also
Yes the DJI fly app comes with a few transitions like fade in, fade out and dissolve.
Just click on the transition box between the two clips and select the transition of your choice.

Great video. Have you noticed when adding a title it only lets you use so many characters? Think the limit was 10 or less. Do you know if there is a way to make the title longer?

6:30 When flying backwards while shooting a reveal shot, stuff keeps revealing. Stuff comes into the shot as you fly backwards. This keeps the shot interesting.

Going to have try to fly my mini from the car I thought the car would interfere with the connection
It doesn't interfere with the connection but it does reduce signal strength and distance.

Hi, do you know if MM can take video or pics in Portrait mode? For example, how we do on an iPhone i.e holding it vertically vs horizontally?
People make them in post, i dont think its possible in the app though. Vertical Pano is popular for Instagram though.

The only consumer drone that can rotate its camera for portrait photos is the DJI Mavic Pro drone.

Thanks man, just got 1st drone 2wks ago which went from taking back my 200 drone, to a 300 drone and again taking back until i purchased the DJI mavic mini which in my world ( for moment at least 😁👍🏻) was the top side for just starting. But to point ,enjoyed your video , very much helpful. Now as far end with editing was like WOW overload to me but for someone that has 0 idea how these videos come out definitely gave me good start & a huge understanding in what goes into them. Sure it’s like riding a bike once you get use to ,but for me has open up a new world. I can see how this hobby has no limitations and will challenge most any age & looking very forward to exploring it. Thank you for the info & enjoyment in watching.

Without a doubt the best and most useful drone video I've ever seen! I'm getting a Mavic Mini soon and though my goal is to use it in music videos, this video will be most helpful.
Great tools to learn and have available. I'm going on a 4 day motorcycle adventure with friends to Tennessee. I cant wait to experiment with some of these tips when we stop in the mountains to see the vistas! Thanks alot.
