  • MAVIC MINI ND FILTER - WHY & WHEN TO USE THEM! - In this Mavic mini ND filter tutorial I look into Why, When and Where to use Neutral Density Filters on a drone with only auto settings for video. I will show you how the Mavic Mini auto exposure works and how you can work around it. Do you need an ND filter for Mavic Mini, watch the video and find out.
    Regardless if you use a DJI Drone like Mavic 2 Pro or Canon DSLR camera getting the exposure right is important. It all starts when you understand the exposure triangle for video. Understanding How ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed work. This video "Exposure Triangle for Dummies" will teach you the basics about the Exposure Triangle For Video ⬇️

    People who don't like any video from you must be somewhat impatient. You thoroughly explain any topic you are covering. I have watched a lot of your videos pertaining to the mavic mini/Litchi app and must say the information is legit. Your voice does well for me. It leads me to believe you know where the good chocolate is😉

    I’ve been using ND filters for some time now with great success, there are a lot of people shouting Mini filters down on the well known forums. Keep up the great videos

    The Mini has manual control now. I generally use an ND16 and adjust ISO to get proper exposure and limit filter changes. If I have to go above ISO 400, then I switch down to a lower ND.

    I kinda get it, I am unfortunately such a slow learner. Most things like this go right over my head but I honk I’ll pick up a filter from eBay and give it a go. Thanks for the video, sorry I am so thick 🤣

    I would really like to know something... Here in South Africa I can buy a UV filter only... On my Nikon camera I always used it... Not really for any fancy shot but I used it as a lens protector and I also want to do this with my mini... But someone once told me that I'm losing one stop of light... Is this true?

    Hi. May I ask, if I attach a Nd filter, change the shutter speed to double my frame rate but the picture is still over exposed, should I use a darker Nd filter?

    • @TECHDRONEMEDIA
      @TECHDRONEMEDIA  4 года назад +1

      Yes or increase the shutter until it’s not overexposed and try that. You can work with higher shutter speeds if you limit rapid motions

      @davidbastin6235 4 года назад

      TECH DRONE MEDIA Hi. Thanks for the reply. The higher shutter speed is better than over exposed? I’m trying to find that motion blur.
