No there should be No brake fluid leaks. the brake fluid should return to reservoir. If you talking about the reservoir cap i did not have any flow out of the open cap.
Typically the honda brake fluid change interval is 3 years regardless of miles. If you asking do you need to just bleed the brakes its not normally done with change of pads unless you feel there may be air in brake lines.
When you rotate clockwise it will bring cross compress down you keep rotating till it can’t go no more that’s when cross is all way down recessed. You will see this.
Went to buy some breaks a month ago…asked the guy if they came with lube/“grease” and hardware lol for $200 it was a no…..come on Honda already juicing me on the price
Looking for a tutorial video to change out my pads and this is the best video I’ve found on RUclips. Very simple and straight forward. Thank you!

Yes, thanks
You don’t need a special tool just get a 3/8 extension fits in the center of the piston perfectly. And ratchet down the piston
Great to know thanks
I usually do it with a large flat screw driver
Question did a lot of brake fluid come out once you compressed the caliber and opened the cap?

Thanks for this.
your very welcome
What is the spring for I forgot to put mine in...
they help spring the pads apart away from disk.... I suggest you put back.
okay so i just changed my rear break pads and forgot to put the lube on it does that effect the my stopping or anything??
It won’t affect the stopping but your brakes might be a little squeaky
Where do you find that box compression tool at?
Autozone or Amazon.
you can get one at harbor freight tools.
Well done!
Quick question how often do I bleed the brakes, does it go together when replacing the brake pads?

How do you know when the cross is compressed ?
When you rotate clockwise it will bring cross compress down you keep rotating till it can’t go no more that’s when cross is all way down recessed. You will see this.
I actually used a flat screwdrive and it did it
