I love my ST-X 230!! Can’t wait for summer
Clubs are a personal choice. Mizuno has performed for me for almost 20 years. MX 560, JPX 800, tried Cobra, ST 190, STX 230, just plain works, lower dispersion, slight increase in distance, going straight. The weight suspended in gel moves weight forward while allowing face to flex. Recommend giving a test drive.

I know they have been for sure but this one in particular feels a little different
I’ve hit this driver in a Simulator, i am taking it out for 9 holes, if it performs as it did on the Sim, i am ordering it. In the Sim, it out performed all of the other new drivers, the fitter said he wasn’t surprised, as this had happened on most of his fitting sessions thus far, he is also ordering one. I also used a different shaft, normal length, more consistent for me.
Love Mizuno clubs; I have their irons and one of their drivers - pretty good indeed. I recently got a new Adams Idea driver. For the money, it is OUTSTANDING. I'd love to hear your review of it.

I currently game the STX 230 Driver and absolutely love it, the 45” shaft has really helped with my dispersion, think you mean 45.75” as standard in the Max, not 43.75

It really does look top class, the carbon crown and black front edge look superb, there will be a lot of folks that cry Taylormade, but I game the TM M4 currently, so it would be a familiar and comforting sight at address, the proof is in the pudding as they say, but for me there are so many things to like about this new club, I'm going to find it hard to pick anything else, unless the Taylormade Qi10 standard comes out with some exceptional numbers. Decisions decisions...?

Definitely like the look of the driver at first glance. Do you normally play a 10.5 degree driver or more of a 9 degree? It seems to be pretty forgiving.

Now that you’re a free club agent, are you going to do a “build a bag” style series of you in Scottsdale getting fit for the latest and greatest driver/woods/irons/wedges/putter in your specs? I’m curious to know whether if you would include clubs from brands beyond TM, Ping, Callaway, etc. Like a Mizuno driver, like a Srixon wood, etc.

Bought a 220x last year. It is very inconsistant. Have not been able to figure it out. Little gun shy about another one.
Had an ST-X 220 and it was a slice machine for me. But I have the same model fairways and they are great. Play Mizuno irons and they are my favorites. Got a bit impulsive and got the ST-X 230, again not working well for me. Went back to my Ping G430, right down the middle. Won’t be tempted again, sorry Mizuno.
I've got the Ping G410 and can't get myself to buy a new one yet! You think it's about time I do?

Seriously, I saw another review of the same club and the eulogies were much the same. However, at £500 you would expect a decent club, which is also pretty much the same price as other premium drivers like the new TM Qi10. So would you game the TM or Mizuno driver is the big question!?

Even then the TM and Callaway models are all 45.75" playing length, and the maximum is 46

I recently bought a ST-X 230 since brand new ones are going for half price & I'd seen good reviews on RUclips. Worst club I've ever hit. Maybe the MAX is different but I'll never consider a Mizuno driver.
